1  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] .03BTC, Have amazon payment on: June 09, 2014, 01:59:55 AM
Paypal, amazonpayment, dwolla, etc.... they're all reversible. You'll need much more reputation than that to be paying with these methods. It won't matter if you go first or not, or how high your rate is.

I doubt you'll get any hits on this, so I suggest looking for another payment method. If you're willing to do a bank cash deposit, I might sell you the btc, depending on the rate.

Tbh I'm only doing this because I'm bored and all I have is amazon payment to pay for my WoW sub haha.

Willing to go first if you have more trades than me. Skype is le_linguiste or PM/post here.

Thanks

I seem to not be able to download the blockchain and I cannot find any reasons why I can't. Any help in this matter?

6  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Btc-e withdraw? Never done it before, anyone help me out really quick? on: April 21, 2013, 08:44:48 AM
I would buy btc at btc-e and transfer the btc to bitstamp.net where the price is higher and sell them there, then you do a bank transfer.

That is how you'll get the most dollars out with the lowest fees, imho.

Well...I live in USA and bitstamp says this:

"International withdrawals will be charged with 0.09% fee, minimum fee is $15.00. Minimum amount for international withdrawal is $50.00. You have $0.00 available. You always have to insert U.S. dollar amount you wish to withdraw. This amount will be converted to the selected currency, free of charge."

So if I put in about 56$ worth of btc, I'd lose quite a bit to fees...right? Or am I allowed to choose the EU bank option instead? (I mean lol, my bank is an American bank soooooo)
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Btc-e withdraw? Never done it before, anyone help me out really quick? on: April 21, 2013, 08:29:45 AM
So just got a little over 50$ after day trading and I'd like to withdraw the USD now. I decided to choose LR, but I guess I could use another option.

I just want to get it to my bank account/paypal with the least amount of trouble and fees.

It says "Purse" for withdraw box, what exactly do I put here if I'm doing liberty reserve?

Thanks in advance!

I've been using BTC-E, iirc it's a russian based exchange. Lots of pump and dump with the lesser cryptocurrencies but the low fees seem well worth it. There's been lots of reports of people being hacked/account balances being wiped so...don't know what's up about that.

Curious why other people don't buy on other cheaper sites then sell on mtgox.

Wow this is good news. Yayyyy. Though I do tired of the meme trash.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why I will never buy from bitinstant.com again on: April 11, 2013, 03:23:11 AM
Ironically, everytime someone mentions them on /r/bitcoin they actually respond pretty well and solve the matter pretty fast. Could try doing that if it hasn't worked well for you yet.
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitspend has an amazing first week! on: April 11, 2013, 03:21:36 AM
Ah I remember seeing this off of /r/bitcoin.

Good stuff. glad to see you are still doing well Smiley
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why do I only mine at 3.3 Mhash/s on: April 11, 2013, 03:17:45 AM

I have a decent computer....AMD quadcore processor and such, but I think my graphics cards are just weak. I'm using GeoForce 8400 GS and it is really THAT slow?Huh

I know it's been answered already but that isn't a good card for anything these days. Remember mining is about processing power, another reason why it switched from CPU to GPU and not to mention the soon to be somewhat widespread ASIC. I mine about 6-7 mh/s on my laptop which has a shitty duo core processor and a 9600m lol.
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Backups in case of disaster on: April 11, 2013, 03:14:15 AM
As soon as I get some funds, I'm gonna purchase another USB drive and another micro SD card/SD card. I want to have at least 4 back ups for my main wallet and 5 for my offline wallet. I always keep an SD card on my wallet in my purse anyways just to be safe.
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Lost Bitcoin transaction on: April 11, 2013, 03:12:02 AM
Depends on fees and such. Also, someone sent me .05 btc as well to my android phone wallet, bitcoin wallet, and I still haven't gotten it. Confirmed and everything. Dunno how long that will take to get it/if I will ever get it >->
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mt Gox - "Sell bitcoins" button did nothing on: April 11, 2013, 03:10:16 AM
It's because MtGox was lagging all day. Thats what caused the correction

Oh yeah. Holy crap the lag. Was reading on reddit about the lag fuss up to even 7 min+ some people reported 10min. :/

lol this thread is just for spamming?

Seems to be an interesting concept. This way they find out who will spam for access and who may really contribute.

Indeed Smiley
