1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the actuall reward for the block in ETH POS ? on: October 30, 2022, 05:31:27 PM
Yes, that is partly correct. 0 reward on the execution layer.

If you hover over the block reward on the link above, it will give tooltips.

0.064949216109325952 Ether (0 + 0.327007168804960212 - 0.26205795269563426)
(static block reward + Txn Fees + Burnt fees)

But do note that on the another hand, within the consensus layer, ETH issuance is still happening.

I found a great article and web platform while I researched your question. It should explain further regarding your topic: https://ethereum.org/en/upgrades/merge/issuance/ and https://ultrasound.money/. Take a look over there, it's a good read.

That`s very interesting , Thank You.

Thank You For replay now I understand it.

So after the POS (merge) the reward from block (2 eth in the past) is 0 now, only reward for gas minus Burnt Fees.

It that means the reward is mark as yellow what about cyan the burn is more than reward? or should i reward minus burnt fee the eth will give us deflation ?

Hello
Could You advice where I can track the information regarding current reward for ETH block (POS). ?
Whether with higher network load (new projects, more TX per sec) if will be have an impact on the burn fee on ETH. It may be possible that ETH will be deflationary ?
What's the current block reward now?

Hello Smiley
Can someone please share  a link to a site where I can find nicely presented information on how many transactions in the bitcoin network are pending confirmation.
The blockchain  web site is not as clear to me as the one at https://txstreet.com/.
Do you know any other site where I can get such information? Huh

Regards

I completely agree with you . There's a lot of unknowns.
But you have to make some assumptions if there is no hard data
I believe that the wallet that belonged to satoshi will not be released (unless someone "mining" priv key).
I guess with blockchain it is possible to extract such data which is why I repeat my question, do you know if there is a site where I can find these "cold wallets" not moved for 10, 8 or 6 years for example?

9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / How much bitcoins was lost permanently? on: June 10, 2021, 07:36:09 AM
Hello Smiley
The current number of bitcoins generated today is about 18730000 .  I wonder how much of it has been completely lost,
I mean mostly bitcoin which were not transferred for example 10 or 8 may be 6 years.
I am also sure that many people have lost their private keys to their wallets and also do not have access to them.
Can you please suggest or refer me to some site what percentage value we can assume how much of the 18M is currently in circulation Huh

I read 3 times but still is not clear for me what can go wrong.

I see that I just send transaction from paper wallet (use electrum) to segwit wallet on ledger nano X (However I will be use segwit wallet instead of native segwit).

importing does not move your funds, it merely imports your private key(s) into a NON-HD wallet.
sweeping basically generates a transaction to move your funds to the wallet you're currently using.

Now I really understand what means "sweep" in blockchain world thanks

Sorry for the confusion with the topic

If you don't want to use your ledger wallet, but ONLY electrum (voiding the security, thus compromising your private key), you can create a non-HD electrum wallet by going to "file" => "new/restore" => give your DESKTOP wallet a name => "import bitcoin addresses or private keys" => paste your private key => next, next, next...

Yes , now I see that options thank You.

Could You confirm if I paste the Private keys that BTC will be not transferred?
But will be see the amount of BTC and then will be possible to send transaction to segwit wallet (example ledger nano x)
