Hi. Problem with the password in my old XDN wallet. Can someone offer advice? It's an old wallet from 2015. I got the new wallet up and sync'd and then I imported my 2 files from 2015: wallet and keys. After import, I was prompted for the password and got an error message that the password is wrong. But I am 100% sure that the password I wrote down is correct. There is no question that I have the correct password. So why it is not working?
I changed the name of the wallet file and tried again. Closed the wallet, reopened. Still getting message that password is wrong.I am running the win32_1.0.12 wallet.
About an hour ago I was on the Ryver Forum but none of the suggestions provided by the helpful person there made any difference.
I spotted a thread where someone had the same problem back in 2015. Similar to me, they were certain the password was correct even though the error message stated "wrong password".
I am starting to wonder if maybe it's possible that I had used a web-based XDN wallet back in 2015. Maybe that doesn't make sense since I do have the physical files for wallet and keys, but somehow in my memory I am wondering about something web-based...
Any suggestions are most appreciated.

i was stick for major altcoin such as ETH ,LTC ,Monero and Doge only because i thought the community for these coin was getting bigger so i might be will support them and do not forget too the price was pretty good for them so i'm optimistic there is possibility the price will increase again in the near future
that's interesting. LTC remains stable within $29 range in average which is good sign for the long term. ETH however, is something no one should miss as it keeps raising towards to top. XRP was very competitive overtaking ETH last month and now we can see the ETH community to win the competition and get their currency to the second place. Future is bright for ETH and LTC indeed. My SSD is low on space and I need to store the XDN data directory and block chain on another drive with more space.
The default location is AppData/Roaming/ and if anyone could explain to me how to change that location I would appreciate it.

It would be interesting to know which Altcoin(s) are you currently supporting and why are you supporting them.
This will greatly generate insights to new adopters and help them get in cryptos.
In addition to BTC, I am holding ETH because of the technology as many new altcoins are developed using ETH blockchain. So for me this is a valuable digital asset for the future of cryptos.

I am currently supporting bitcoin and lisk. Am supporting bitcoin because, it currently serves as gold standard for other coins and the crypto currencies that has support from all work of life. I also support lisk and wish it increase in price because this is the only coin that gives me a return of over 200% last month. How is Lisk compared to Waves. I can see it is obtaining the same value over time as waves. Do expect it to last? |

What happens to the coins sent to the ICCO offering exactly ?
And what happens to the ones we are holding in wallets ?!?!
First of, please join the community platform on https://digitalnote.ryver.com/ to get in touch with xdn contributors. If you decide to participate in the icco, then you will have to create the icco wallet and they will be up for sale. Once your coins are sold, you will get btc amount based on the amount of coins you participated with at the end of the icco period, or when all coins get sold before that. Your holdings in the wallet are not entitled to be sold in the icco. Hope that helps. |

I made my gains on the way up, no problem here. Wasn't sure what to think about the ICCO at first, but now I am all for it. The small market cap alone will be a huge motivator for investors (look at Bytecoin, market cap of 406 million--if XDN hit that market cap each XDN would be worth almost 6 cents!). If you didn't believe BCN would see that market cap, I could see why you would be pessimistic about XDN. I could also see why you would be mad if you sold at half or even a quarter of the current price back in 2016. The fact of the matter is that even at 2-3x current satoshi prices, XDN is still a good deal. I think that after the ICCO, that is when the price will sway down and sort of even out for awhile before next progress. It's not going to be this low again. The future is a multicrypto future IMO.
I understand their frustration since they have not seen this coming. But well said. The coin is re-establishing itself again in the market, and that's a plus. Think again guys and get in and hopefully you will make your gains all over again. |

I think you are missing the point. Buying now will make you gain a decent profit in the near future as well as for holding in the long term. The value will increase with achieving the milestones on the roadmap. Get in before you miss the chance. Why you so sure "The value will increase with achieving the milestones on the roadmap"? WHY???Value will increase in one case only - people will trust in the future of this coin. I was expected really bright future of XDN 2 years ago, and a year ago as well - and still nothing since, just unreleased promises. I'm tired now, dumped all holdings at the end of 2016 and cancel all development related to XDN. I will NOT use it in my projects. But you another side, you are positive. Why, why you trust a man who didn't finished his promises before??? I understand your frustration. I was almost like you seeing no future for the coin. But seems like its time for it to raise after all the negative progress. I suggest you to be patient and take you chances since the value may not be as cheap as now. time to sell rest of coins  Nothing new, POA promised NOV-2016 and still nothing. Have no reason to wait till Q2 2018, a lot of good coins around. I did that when the last time the ICCO didnt come through. screwed up there though didnt I? now worth far more than originally staked. May as well hold and wait it out, unless you cant afford to lose that stake. I agree. Considering XDN ROI, buy it cheap and hold will not case you any loss as the dumps stay above the price bought for.
