I wonder what's triggering this huge move in BCH? Could be the BCH camping putting the fiat back into the market from the BTC sold during the hash war?

Indeed the hash rate has exploded even without pools and it's like a lot of people are just mining for nothing.
One bug I found in the WEBD Explorer for a few days, it does not show the blocks any more, at all. It only shows my address and that's it, black empty page.
Please report this to our community member which developed the explorer. You can find his contact in footer on the explorer website have you guys thought about revising some of the branding? The logo in particular is very confusing. It looks like a pentagram, and like it's associated with some illuminati, secret society type stuff. Not sure if this is intentional.

Is it really one item in the marketplace or I don't see somehow? I heard that there could be a bug when you don't see, but I don't think that it can be so that you can see only one item and not the other.
There is about 7-8 items. The thing is you should leave the software running so it has time to see everything that gets broadcasted. Sometimes orders can get circulated and then those who weren't connected may take a day for it to get broadcast again while updating. Consider the markets are decentralized and serverless so unless you are always connected you might not see some orders. Also, we are working on our Bitmessage relay which is basically giving users the option to run a strong server node to relay the traffic to those who missed it and increase the speed. It will be needed for web markets. David, how long would it take someone to load the web marketplace if they are syncing for the first time. Well the marketplace doesn't "sync" but it does something similar when catching up with messages as they circulate and it can take up to a day in my experience. However another thing to consider is users refresh their orders every 2 days so it's possible a message falls out of circulation and then gets refreshed later. So definitely no longer than 48 hours. Once we have "master node" relay servers then we can immediately show some of the orders in the main markets. We have a prototype but so far we want to make more changes to it so it's also conducive for web based markets. Interesting. Will anyone be able to run a relay node by locking at bitbay as collateral?

@deeperx can you please tell me something about my support ticket on the forum? I've been blacklisted from the airdrop for switching to the new wallet and looks like i'm going to miss my 3rd airdrop tomorrow. I've been a participant in this project since the first airdrop. To miss the last 4 airdrops for upgrading the wallet as recommend is not right.
|
|
|
Is anyone else having difficulty with the airdrops after upgrading to 1.6? I hold a 17K onion balance and have been blacklisted from the last 2 airdrops for no reason after changing the wallet? It looks like i'm going to miss the last 3-4 airdrops just for switching my wallet. I think you should've updated you address before withdrawing the funds? Because I did something similar and got blacklisted. Try to apply again and see what happens. If it didn't work, create a support ticket and @Deeper should fix it Sounds like the same thing that happened to me. I tried to reapply and it says blacklisted. I opened a support ticket for 2 weeks but noone seems to be able to fix it, Deeper tried twice but it stills says i'm banned.. It sucks since i'm missing out on 2k onions + from the airdrops and did nothing wrong.

I could not get the Mac Wallet to work, so I downloaded the Windows wallet and moved all my onions there. Because of the move, I got blacklisted from airdrop and did not receive any onions this past airdrop. Let this be a warning to anyone in the same situation with the mac wallet.

MITH is an ERC-20 social media token on the Ethereum Blockchain. Mithril will be integrated into new and existing social media networks to reward content creators for contributions to the network - we call this Social Mining. There are no airdrops, bounties, nor public crowdsale for this project. Please do not respond to any parties offering you airdrops, bounties, or token sales posing as members of our team. Update Social Mining While it is generally expected that professional content owners such as singers, songwriters, and other digital rights holders are able to monetize their content, content creators outside of this traditional model do not benefit from the economic value they generate in social networks. Increasingly, valuable content is generated from all walks of life, through video blogs, audio/podcasting, live-streams, and the like. We believe that everyone who adds value to the network should benefit from their work. To realize this future where all participants in the social media ecosystem can be rewarded for their contributions to their social network, we are very excited to launch the Mithril (MITH) token. Whether you are a popular celebrity, admired livestreamer, or everyday user, you can participate in network value that you help create through social mining on Mithril. MITH tokens can be earned through social mining across accepted social networks, starting with the launch of the Lit platform.
Lit app The Lit app Android Beta was released on Google Play Store on March 5th. The iOS Beta has released on March 12th. Official Website The Team Mithril is founded by Jeffrey Huang and the team behind 17 Media, with advisors from Sora Ventures, Pantera Capital, QTUM Foundation, AMIS, Mr.Block, and Blockstate. Contract Address: 0x3893b9422cd5d70a81edeffe3d5a1c6a978310bb Symbol: MITH Decimals: 18 Exchanges MITH is listed and trading on OKEX. MITH / BTC MITH / ETH MITH / USDT Use of MITH MITH is a utility token on Lit, an innovative social media platform that addresses the needs of this current generation of users, featuring instant messaging, story feeds, and friend discovery. Lit will enable Social Mining of MITH to reward users for contributing their personal content to the network, and provide the Mithril Vault for its users to store and use MITH. Users will be able to spend MITH on applications such as dating services, premium content channels, and live-stream applications. Retail acceptance of MITH as a payment method will begin with retailers in Taiwan and Hong Kong at launch. In the Press Join us on Telegram! So is Mithril going to build on QTUM or ETH? I've seen both claims, what platform is this project being built on?

Initially, this coin seemed very promising to me, but today I do not see the developers' unity and ability to develop this project. The general fall of the market aggravates the situation. I hope that the developers will be able to solve the internal problems of the project...
Why do you see the developers as the main issue? I'm actually very confident in people like Borzalom and Danny. My main concern is the patent status and whether they will succeed in getting something released in the near term. April will be a very deciding month in my opinion. How can you be confident in something when the mainnet code has never been shown to anyone or released? What makes you think this project should be 50m+?

Not a scam. the project is complete. they are on week 37 of airdrops, and have delivered each one. Nothing here is scammy in the least.
So all of this topic has wrong informations? Many investors think this project is scam. Some documents that we can see as proof are also on the topic. It is not a trusting investment even if it is not scam What documents are you talking about? To this day, there has been zero proof that there is a scam. Since the first airdrop they have been saying that Dev will selloff all the coins and not distribute them. Now 37 airdrops later, the coins are almost all distributed. Every project in crypto has literally been called a scam.

Just ignore DeepOnion if its true, the easiest way... Its a big help for those people who r new in cryptoworld, it will serve as a warning not to consider DeepOnion as their prospective ICO.
There is no ICO in deeponion. It's given for free via airdrop. Lol read back through this thread, the whole time you guys have been saying that devs will dump the premine. 37/40 airdrop almost and it hasn't happened? What's the new theory guys?

I´ve got some Bay and I have a question to all of you... Do you imagine a marketplace as ebay, localbitcoin... having to download something to operate in it?¿ Bitbay must have a place where everybody can log in and buy/sell whatever they want... that would bring use and adoption. Make it easy my friend!! And to succeed, we need a really important partnership otherwise even if the product is good other one will overtake this and get first to the finish line. Hope this lines help develop Bitbay in the right way. webclient is already on the roadmap. This was the plan all along.

The Mac Client running on Wine is really buggy atm. Is anyone having problems with it? I recommend removing this version, as it may put people off and make them dismiss the project if they are trying it for the first time.

Once the airdrop is over the price is going to crash heavily. Onion is just a cheap copy of Tor coin which wasn't legit.
People who participate in airdrop are not fools. You do not have deeponion. Why worry about it? Question is : why don't you worry about it ? Here is the answer, you have sell most of them : (and you took the right decision) Total Sent (ONION) Total Received (ONION) Balance (ONION) 563,810.76662691 629,065.34027882 65,254.57365191 Some are smart, as you did, but many will loose everything. If he "sold" that many onions, then he bought alot to begin with. You don't receive 500k onions from the airdrop

For the technology that DeepOnion provides, it is a very undervalued coin.
And what technology would that be? So far it is all a smokescreen and that for months. There is no anonymity in DO. Suppoman, seriously? Remember when you and the fudders said that the Devs would dump the premine? That this was going to be an exit scam. They are now 36/40 weeks in and have airdropped the coins rather than exit scamming. The new argument you guys came with is that this was a copy and paste coin with no new features. Then after they released vault feature, the accusation changed to the coin is not useful. You guys should stay consistent with your accusations, instead of shifting to something else and picking a new angle when the old one is proven wrong.

Blocknet valuation thoughts using market cap: Blocknet; RANK: 91 MC : $192,373,754 PER COIN : $38.16 CIRCULATING SUPPLY: 5,041,373 BLOCK. Let's quickly analyse these numbers. Low market cap: check. Low circulating supply: check. Dwindling order books: check. Hefty amount of coins locked to the servicenodes: check. Let all of that sink for a while. Now let's do an old fashioned speculation using market cap rank & couple reflections: CMC RANK 50: Hshare with mc $395,722,320 divided by 5,041,373 BLOCK = 78,49$. Ok. Top 50 ought to be peanuts during the spring awakening. One whale could bring Block to these levels. Alone. Let's continue. CMC RANK 36: Grandmaster of the s*itcoins DOGE: $612,014,492. At least it's honest. But hell.. meme coin with absolutely zero real world application is valued for almost 600mil dollars. You see where I'm getting with this rambling? How about the In-Duh-Ned of the friggin' blockchains? Could Blocknet surpass DOGE? If there's any sense left in the cryptospace it should be done already. Or any half serious project for that matter. Oh my. Slain doggy would cost you $612,014,492/5,041,373 = 121,398$. CMC RANK 19: QTUM. Widely hyped project with zero working products: $1,998,947,819. Ok, yeah, well it has flashy websites and all that. It could possibly cure cancer in the future. But for now it's all hot air and cool promises. Let's run the numbers: $1,998,947,819/5,041,373 BLOCK = 396,50$. Getting warmer.. BTW you can trade QTUM on Blocknet DX at this very moment . Well wuppi frigging doo, let's get to the good stuff! The all famed TOP10 is currently held by EOS with $5,752,510,435 market cap. Now we're talking. Ok cut the crap and give us the sweet numbers: $5,752,510,435 divided by 5,041,373 BLOCK = 1141,060$. Over 1k bucks. Per coin. Insanity! This is the bare minimum which Blocknet ought to achieve once the SPV & DX final product will be released. Ambitious? Sure! Achievable: hells yeah. The more I've spend time digging around Blocknet, the more I'm starting to appreciate it. Disclaimer: using only market cap for value calculation is flawed for sure, but it does give us the idea about the current state of things in cryptospace. I'm tired of the overhyped projects gaining all of the attention with them whitepapers with dubious acronyms and bold promises. Year 2018 will be the year of DX's. Interoperability for the win! Do your own research. And buy some sweet sweet doge :'c . You have no clue what you're talking about. How does Qtum not have a working product, when it has numerous projects already building on the platform? Blocknet is a good project, but you're not helping it with these misinformed posts about projects that you don't even follow.

I downloaded the new Mac Client today. It looks amazing, but is kind of buggy. After I load the client, it doesn't want to close. The window does, but the app stays in the doc and won't let me turn off my comp. Also if I select an option, the pop up window comes up but doesn't want to close either.
