1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Atom/cosmos + binance copied and are inferior to Blocknet ? 300 x less market ca on: February 11, 2021, 11:13:18 AM
After reading about these 2 projects.

Why do copycats get supported by Binance or are they binance?

One has a market cap of 3 Billion?  ATOM / cosmos
One has a market cap of like 11 million  300 X LESS ?

Cosmos clearly looks inferior to Blocknet, what is binance doing here?
This video by well known chico crypto I have just seen looks quite worrying.

https://youtu.be/JSCAelH_iuk

https://bitcoinist.com/xrouter-an-internet-of-blockchains-vs-an-intranet-of-blockchains/

https://medium.com/@blockdx/blocknet-vs-cosmos-82aa263c79f8

Blocknet looks to be a superior design and binance looks to me to be pushing inferior design whilst knowing that.

How can an inferior project be 300x the cap?
Who here can give further insight into this?

Yeah it's a blatant copycat project and pushed by Binance. I haven't looked into the team behind it but I wouldn't be surprised at all if they have connections to Binance. And BLOCK still isn't listed on Binance  Huh

There's a new XLite promo vid out on youtube

Looks nice!
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The crypto stablecoins you need to know about on: July 03, 2018, 06:03:47 AM
I can see some others have beaten me to it - I’d also suggest adding BitBay to the list of stablecoins to watch. Havven is interesting but after researching them all (including the over-complicated ‘Reserve’) it seems the only truly decentralized and dynamic solution will be from BitBay.

https://bitbay.market/dynamic-peg

This is from their site: “BitBay’s democratic voting system allows for maximum resilience and elasticity during extreme volatility. In addition, $BAY’s liquid supply can also be tied to a basket of separate currencies, assets, or commodities as necessary.“

Their lead dev is David Zimbeck, the same guy who created the first ever smart contract GUI so I’m watching this with anticipation...

Hate to say it but, the purple is "strange" not used much in publishing. As a web designer, I would prefer some shade of Blue, it's a calming, inviting color. And the graphic balloon and moving stuff just distracts from the professional feel you are trying to convey, a bit amateurish. Please don't take this the wrong way but, the old website wasn't so bad. A little updating and it would have been really nice. Nice work otherwise.

I agree it's quite unique and not used much but... i have to say I love the new site! Compared to the old one it's a massive improvement! And those moving things add a nice touch and give it a kind of live feel right? a bit better that just staring at the usual stock images that are most other crypto sites for sure! Cheesy

Congratulations to the bitbay team and good luck with the web wallet launch too! (is it still next week?)

A big thumb UP for Bitbay and it's community.

We are seeing development every month and it's development is ongoing.

Keep up the good work guys and gals !!

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Theymos's list of altcoins with some technical merit on: August 21, 2017, 02:04:22 PM

Not yet evaluated

I haven't investigated these enough yet to give them scores.

 - BitBay
 - Blocknet
 - Byteball
 - CloakCoin
 - Dash
 - GameCredits
 - Neo
 - PIVX
 - Waves
 - XEM
 - XtraBYtes
 - Zencash

Nice to see BitBay at the top of that list. It's one of the very few cryptos with working tech that's been around for a few years already. As far as I know it's the only one with double-deposit escrow and a fully working marketplace?

Would really like to see how you rate it Smiley

What's up Guys

Listen I also found some strange things on YouTube.
There are different YouTube accounts talking and posting videos about this coin. That's good!
The strange part is thatall the videos are posted on the same day on those channels

Click on any video on any of these channels, see the upload date.
I don't know what to think about this. I don't get any possitive thoughts to say the least.

What do you guys think?

All videos on these two channels are posted on may 21-2017
https://www.youtube.com/user/apunakiima/videos - Unity Ingot News
https://www.youtube.com/user/kiiksugatyyp/videos - What is Bitcoin

On this two channels every video you click is posted on may 11-2017
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCO9kFM5lSKdmXse0Bve_rVw - Success Tools
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChjynujypKNKagj-NbzKXPA - Steem Wallet5006

Like this you have more channels. Same story different look.

I also e-mailed Livecoin and got a response back:

31.07.2017 21:00 Support (assistant):

Hello.
If coin has a Sponsored status - this means that developer pays for the ad slot.
>>Will the coin stay on Livecoin or will it get delested?
If any coin is planned to be removed, users are warned in advance.

31.07.2017 04:28 ZabiDBIX:

Hi,

Can you please provide me with some information about the Unity Ingot coin.
It is sponsored everyday on LiveCoin, does it mean it's belongs to Livecoin or is the dveloper team paying for this?
Also do you have any contact with the team behind the coin?
Will the coin stay on Livecoin or will it get delested?

thanks,

ZabiDBIX

Apparently the team or the developer is paying for the ad slots. You could say he/she (they?) is paying for it to fool people to buy more coins or they are really mining other coins and pump back some of it back in the promotion of the Unity Ingot coin.

What do you guys think? Grin

You spend too much time jumping to conclusions about imaginary demons.  What I think and judging by the evidence it is not hard to assume Unity Ingot is exactly what the developers say it is.

Possibly a modicum of patience is in order

As far as YouTube Channels having videos of the same date, often people who create such channels will upload videos and not make them public until they are ready.  If all of the videos were showing the same date, that means they were all made public on the same day but could have actually been there for any amount of time. Even years ..

You called the date shown the "upload date".  But it is not the "upload date"  it is the Published date that is showing

I understand what you trying to say buddy.

But it seems we both have invested in this and it would be WISE for the investors to see if there is any reliable info about the product you are investing in. It's important not to FOOL ourselfs by believing it will be ok in the end and only imagine going to the moon.

We can always limit our losses by digging in the asset you are investing.

What I'm questioning is where is the team, why no any milestones have been achieved, why releasing a "news" statement via Livecoin with all promises and dissappear again?

The only good side to this is that it's not cheap to pay for the ad slot on an exchange, for almost 2 or 3 weeks. Why would developer pay for it if they are not serious about it? Are they working on it in the background to invest some of the mining back in sponsering the coin?

Time will tell... I'm going to hold the coins I already bought to see what the rollercoaster will bring us untill the end of this year.

If i see progress in value and buy back from the "dead team" I will buy some more, otherwise sell. That's it.

I would guess the reason they paid for it is because they held a massive amount of the coins. There was a sponsored email sent by Livecoin reassuring investors that everything was happening behind the scenes and then a massive dump the very next day. 6 million I think it was. And the ad slot was for a couple of months not weeks! I bought this right at the start and held and held but with none of the promised updates coming and nothing on social media it just looks crap.

Let's say this isn't a scam to keep crypto.classroom happy - then it's simply one of the worst ico's I've seen! A hidden team with no social presence anywhere shows how little they care for investors.

There's also really no need to call everyone a troll who disagrees with you crypto.classroom - we're all here to discuss these things which is why it's called a forum.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Unity Ingot Official Launch - World's First Crypto-Mining Backed Token on: July 31, 2017, 10:00:13 PM

Well said and thanks for doing the research and calling it out for what it actually is. It may be a way to launch a coin now but if it is then it's a shit way to do it!

I'm out of unity since a few weeks back. No point holding a coin that has no future.

Thank you Kodhead.

I just hope others benefit from the info I have gathered.

Interesting that crypto.classroom didnt have any response to the actual VALID CONCERNS I raised.

Everyone should do there own research, forget the shill who attacks people personally and yet ignores the stunning array of facts presented. Wink

What is going on here with the level of the trolls trolling the coin is highly intriguing and when something brings out the big scammer trolls like this guy UN.Why there must be more here than meets the eye.  Something big is brewing here or UN.Why would not waste their time making troll posts because troll posts is what they do professionally.  Troll posts is their specialty and they are good at troll posts. Troll posts is what they do for a for a living and you already know that because you are another Newbie @Kodhead and one who also only showed up, here at this forum to Troll UNY.  The only posts on this form so far by you are to exclusively troll this coin.

Un.Why did make some valid points and they are all points we need to pay attention to yet those points are not their reason for their post.  UN.Why and Kodhead care nothing about the validity of this coin.  They are only here to Troll

from now on also to you I will Ingnore @Kodhead and @Un.Why with extreme predudice Kodhead is another of the Troll scammers who purposefully came here only to Troll UNY along with Un.Why.  Neither of them care anything about the possibilities of this coin.  They are both only here to Troll and that is all either of them have ever done on this forum

Hahhaa yeah ok. I'm a troll. Why don't you look back a few pages and see that I've contacted livecoin directly about this and the orchestrated email followed by the dump. I held UNY until a few days after that email scam. I don't like being scammed and I don't like being called a troll by someone who is obviously upset they've wasted their money on this coin. If it turns out to be legit then good luck to you.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Unity Ingot Official Launch - World's First Crypto-Mining Backed Token on: July 31, 2017, 08:54:55 PM
LMAO @ crypto.classroom how can you call me a scammer?  I’m not after anyones money, or promoting buying a newly-released token, unlike yourself.

Are you involved with the affluence network then, it sounds like it? lol  All I have done is provide FACTS, what is your angle with attacking me, you haven’t even commented on the points I raised, but prefer to attack me personally, for no reason instead of addressing what I had to say.  Why do that?  What is YOUR agenda crypto.classroom?

Instead of crying like a baby, please point out where I am wrong! Am I correct in saying about UNY:

OP hasnt been back since early June
No contact info or email address,
No white paper,
No smart contract,
No ICO details,
No details on bullion holdings,
No press release or media etc,
No social media activity,
No information on mining rigs or hosting,
No activity from board members,
No press release as promised early July after the pump & dump,

NO TIMELINE MILESTONES ACHIEVED AT ALL

ALL THE ‘FAKE TRADING’ IS BEING DONE FROM ONE MAIN ACCOUNT

UNY is part of the Affluence Network, a MLM scheme.

ALL FACTS unsure why you feel the need for personal abuse, when all I have done is do some research.    Huh Huh Huh

Well said and thanks for doing the research and calling it out for what it actually is. It may be a way to launch a coin now but if it is then it's a shit way to do it!

I'm out of unity since a few weeks back. No point holding a coin that has no future.

Dumped. Piece of shit scam Livecoin!
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Unity Ingot Official Launch - World's First Crypto-Mining Backed Token on: July 07, 2017, 03:27:27 PM
Dear clients, this is just a sponsored letter.
You can unsubscribe from sponsored letters like this one in the notifications section

I think you missed the point there Livecoin! This email was sponsored and timed a day before a whale sold 6.6 million UNY. Was this complete coincidence or is the whale the person who paid for the sponsored email?
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Unity Ingot Official Launch - World's First Crypto-Mining Backed Token on: July 07, 2017, 07:30:31 AM
I also got this email !

I thought - WOW - maybe i can make some money with it - because everything in email sound very promising.
Then i thought a lot other people will receive the email and think like me - then also buy - and the exchange rate will increase a lot!

So i bought for 0.5 Bitcoins.

Half an hour later i looked into livecoin again and i was really shocked !

Somebody is selling over 6.6 million UNY coins (= about 225 bitcoins)

So for me this very very suspicious and only can be scam !!

An email is sent out - then some little time later one single person sells 6.6 million UNY !?!?

How can this be ?

Seems like the owner owns this 6.6 million UNY himself - maybe just paid livecoin some money for sending the email - and now hopes he can sell all of his shit coins !

The price will never raise now - because there is huge wall at 0.00003400 !

Sooner or later the most people who have bought for this price will recognize that ..
then everybody will try to sell his UNY coins - and the price will drop and drop and drop and drop...

Only winner will be the owner who could sell some thousands for his shit coins for 0.00003400

So stay away and do NOT buy this coin !!!

Everything in email is only SCAM !!!

This is very clearly a market manipulation by Livecoin in collusion with UnityIngot. I am sure they knew the holder of 6 million UNY wanted to sell so they tried to manipulate the price. Absolutely disgusting behaviour and quite transparent for everyone to see. I have sold all my UNY, emailed Livecoin to ask their position on this.

So where is the news Gembul? No stream of the mining room? no news on the forum, twitter, facebook or anywhere else.

You should do the decency of confirming this is a scam so we can all get our money out asap!

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Unity Ingot Official Launch - World's First Crypto-Mining Backed Token on: June 19, 2017, 02:01:22 PM
SCAM - BEWARE!
i have just searched all the members of the team - all the info. some hours research.
Most of them never listed any info abt this project on their fb, or other acounts.
It is strange, if it is so promising project why not?
Most of them are just a regular people.. not specialists!
and it looks very suspicious project. No twitter, no news...

It is such a cool idea.
I hope someone can implement it.
I do not think it is going to be these (this?) guy(s).
Who will be the last bagholder?  Cry

I'm beginning to think this is a scam too. Another drop and we're heading down again with no updates from the 'team' - mid-july there was supposed to be live mining rig video stream on their website, but of course nothing there yet. Also no contact info on their website leads to anything. A few crappy facebook posts and nothing else. Stinks!

eek :

Seems to be very little happening on here? Beginning to get a bit suspicious about this one... I'll stick with it and see what happens I guess.

Any news anyone?

thx
