1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sending Bitcoin through SMS/Text Messaging? on: March 12, 2020, 10:56:24 AM
Although at first sounds nice and interesting I'm not sure about that idea. It looks too risky to me, without enough security and many possibilities to abuse. But it has potential to be further developed.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: William Shatner doubts Craig Wright’s claims to inventing Bitcoin on: February 12, 2020, 10:53:28 AM
I don't believe that Craig is Satoshi. I also don't believe that anyone will manage to reveal true identity of Satoshi unless he wants that. So to my opinion it' better ti just let him be and I don't actually see the purpose if the identity would be revealed, that is not so important for bitcoin community and I can understand why he wants to sty anonymous.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Usage Among Merchants Is Up on: February 07, 2020, 03:06:08 PM
You didn't provide any data or concrete information on that. So, your conclusion is based on what exactly, just an impression? That is not good way to share information.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: Future of Bitcoins - What will happens to BTC on: January 31, 2020, 11:49:56 AM
No one can't predict the future for sure. However, having in mind all this growth of new technologies and digitization to my opinion bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies ca only grow further and have better place in our societies, especially in the economy. And don't worry about the price, volatility is normal and we can't expect that price is only going up all the time.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin will rise as EU cash payments fall on: January 17, 2020, 10:27:51 AM
No matter all digital processes and rise of cryptocurrencies cash will not disappear. Many people still have that habit and don't trust other payment methods or just don't want to leave traces. Total cashless society will be never achieved, people love banknotes.
6  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price and Christmas. on: December 27, 2019, 12:27:49 PM
I'm not so convinced that there is direct link between Christmas and bitcoin price.
Some think that price is falling because many users exchange bitcoin for fiat because of excessive spending during December but still that can't influence the price so significant because that is not si large number of users. I don't even think that price will recover with beginning of the next year.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Viber, WhatsApp, skype, WeChat, Snapchat, IMO, Line not conduct ICO? on: December 20, 2019, 09:39:34 AM
And why would they? Not everyone is interested in ICO. Also, maybe they have estimated that this might be too risky for them or not enough profitable or just don't have the interest to get involved in crypto.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin isn't just an investment, it is the future on: December 13, 2019, 07:12:45 AM
It's clearly visible how big development bitcoin has achieved with time. From the very beginning when almost nobody believed it will be successful until today when it' recognized as the best criptocurrency. The future is ahead of bitcoin and with time I think that people will use it more and more also in every day life, for real purposes and not only as an investment. Majority countries will regulate it and it will become equal part of financial and economy system.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mass adoption of crypto on: November 29, 2019, 01:29:06 PM
This is an illusion. Half of population in the world is not using internet, many of them still don't have electricity at all. Not to mention education and digital skills. I think that cryptocurrencies will always stay a privilege of certain group of people although that is not general idea and it's not good.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can do Governements against Satoshi ? on: November 22, 2019, 07:03:08 AM
Why would any governement do anaything against Satoshi? I don't think they are even interested in him. And why are bitcoiners so obsessed with Satoshi and always creating some conspiracy theories?
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Informed is Your Country's Police About Crypto? on: November 15, 2019, 07:30:31 AM
More and more I would say. Police is aware of many frauds and money laundering connected with cryptocurrencies and they know they have to investigate it. Also, more and more people report crimes connected with crypto so they actually don't have the choice, they need to work on that and therefore educate themselves.
12  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin hit a new low since 2018 on: October 25, 2019, 06:24:46 AM
Don't be so under pressure because of bitcoin price and don't panic every time when bitcoin price falls.
It's funny how every time when the price goes down some people predict the worst possible scenario. This now it's just usual correction, something that we see all the time. Just relax and buy more coins.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What did you know about Bitcoin before becoming a bitcoiner? on: October 18, 2019, 08:21:35 AM
Nothing actually. I found some articles online and that was my source of information. I bought my first bitcoin as an experiment but everything went well for me, I stayed in crypto community and with time I learned a lot. It takes some time and experience, nothing can't happen over night.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin coins are losing popularity? on: October 11, 2019, 01:49:25 PM
I'm not sure what do you mean by losing popularity. I hope you don't mean on popularity on social networks. New bitcoin adopters appear all time and to my opinion bitcoin is more and more used in real life, also as a payment method and not only investment asset.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Loan to buy Bitcoin? on: October 04, 2019, 01:03:39 PM
This is a bad choice. If you can't afford to buy bitcoins, better don't. You can't know in advance if you will make enough profit to repay for loan and to make something for yourself. It's better to wait a while and save something that you will invest in bitcoin.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS THERE A REGULATORY BODY on: September 13, 2019, 05:55:22 AM
I always get surprised how little some people know about bitcoin. They don't make even slightest effort to get at least basic information and that is sad. But I guess they expect for profit to get into their hands right out of the blue.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A world of opportunities for freelancers on: September 06, 2019, 06:58:45 AM
now freelancers have been greatly helped by the presence of cryptocurrencies. I see this as the goal of creating a cryptocurrency that is as a "solution". payment solutions that are cheap, safe and fast.

May I understand that freelancers always want to accept
paying by their native currency, but most of buyers choose only paypal and USD for payment. bitcoin is volatile and many of countries government ban bitcoin by their countries economical law, so bitcoin payment not possible to receive for every workers in the world!
accept payment via PayPal, in my opinion, is just a trend... in the future payment trends will switch to cryptocurrency but not Bitcoin, I see Stable Coin like USDT & USDC has the potential to become a payment trends in the future.

Maybe these coins have the potential but I don't think they will replace payments in bitcoin. Many freelancer like to be paid in cryptocurrencies but in those who are easily changed in fiat or accepted as a crypto on multiple places.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Realization of bitcoin as a currency, killed it in India! You all killed it! on: August 09, 2019, 07:29:13 AM
I don't think you can blame anyone for decisions that government in India made. It's their decision how to regulate bitcoin it and they've chosen the bad way. Still I don't think that will prevent people in India from using bitcoin and that can't be stopped.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With Bitcoin, a future is not clear on: August 02, 2019, 08:14:37 AM
An interesting decision. Another proof that people just do not get rich. In order to make a competent decision, you should at least familiarize yourself with the new sphere and how it works. That is, we need knowledge. And to invest borrowed funds in such a risky asset is stupid.

I agree but people often make stupid or at least reckless decisions. One of them is definitely to invest in bitcoin with borrowed money. But some users don't have enough knowledge and experience and profit is the only aim they see. Once they get disappointed and lose a lot of money maybe they will start thinking differently.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: top industries influenced by blockchain on: June 21, 2019, 08:31:45 AM
I've heard of some examples blockchain technology being used in agriculture in food production and in medicine too. Actually I think that it could be implemented very widely, it's just the matter how it will be fitted into some framework.
