1  Economy / Currency exchange / Buying Some Bitcoins for Paypal USD ($200 worth) on: April 12, 2013, 06:23:12 AM
I have $200 to spend on some Bitcoin, and I'm looking to buy in to this newfangled currency. Anyone selling some?
I'm willing to send the cash first if you have some rep, please post or send me a PM thanks!
2  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whitelist Requests (Want out of here?) on: April 11, 2013, 04:53:38 PM
Hello there. I'd like to request to be whitelisted.

I'm already quite knowledgeable about Bitcoins (I've been following them since early January due to the boom in popularity), and have even started some mining on my PC.
I'm hoping to get in on some mining discussion on the Mining forums, but I'm currently locked out due to the 4 hour wait. Sad
Some of the things I'd like to ask about is setting up a rig (with multiple GPUs), and getting advice from others about how to set it up properly.

Thanks, looking forward to join the discussion!

It's obvious at this point that all of this goes squarely against what Satoshi originally intended with a "decentralized" currency.  Sad One company should not control everything (especially the value of a Bitcoin).

Hello! My friends call me "The Terminator", because if anyone gets in my way they get terminated! lol

I'm here to discuss Bitcoins with my fellow technophiles. I already know the basics, and want to go a little deeper.

I must admit, this is a rather silly restriction to have in place. Sad
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin down to $60 recently on btc-e on: April 11, 2013, 04:28:32 PM
Weren't Bitcoins at $13.50 each at the start of the year, before all the hype? That seems like a more accurate rate for them to be at, since they were at $10 for most of 2012. They will increase gradually over time, but it'll be years before they reach $260 again.
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Offering PayPal for Bitcoin? You're likely to be labeled a scammer - Read why on: April 11, 2013, 04:24:57 PM
I don't think people who use Paypal should always be labeled a scammer. There are a lot of ways people have Paypal cash (such as buying or selling other virtual items from other games, lik WoW), and might want to invest in Bitcoin.
