2  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where Do You Want To See Bitcoins In 5 Years Time? on: April 14, 2013, 09:28:34 PM
Hopefully, in a time of no more banks, I want to see the ability to pay bills (phone, power, water, internet) in bitcoins.
Not to mention, order any food I want in bitcoins, use bitcoins to have additions to my house.
Bitcoins to feed my dog...

Well.. I want bitcoins to be used with everything.

6  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is there anyway to buy alcohol online with bitcoin? on: April 14, 2013, 08:21:46 PM
Remember, liquor would be extremely costly to buy online. Because shipping a $20 bottle, will cost $20 in shipping alone.

Best bet is to find someone locally who will accept bitcoins for a liquor exchange.

I realize that there is the chargeback problem with paypal.

Precisely because of this I am willing to go through with whatever verificatin process the seller deems needed.

Like I said, looking to buy just 2 bitcoins. Not 20. Not 200. The scale is small and the seller would be helping a newb to get into this Smiley

Then mail the guy a check.

Yeah, after purchasing an item with Paypal, you can reverse the charge through your bank, or paypal.
Bitcoins you can not.

Most bitcoin users are smart enough to not accept paypal.
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: intel or amd cpu? on: April 13, 2013, 06:56:36 PM
I have used both, I like AMD, I think the bang for the buck is much better than Intel.
