I, personally, wouldn't mind my young kids to learn about cryptocurrency in school. These kids are the future and there is no harm in learning something such as virtual currencies which are likely to be in their future.

I am hopeful that bitcoin, or any other virtual currency will replace the need for banks. Once bitcoin reaches the the point where hundreds of transactions can be settled per second, the decentralized nature of bitcoin could provide general consumers with a more efficient, secure, and cost-efficient financial framework as an alternative to the global banking infrastructure.

I think the real question is, how do we even save our planet from ultimate destruction. Because while we deal with all these political and economical issues, are Earth --our home -- is deteriorating at a rapid rate.

I think future business models would certainly incorporate blockchain technology. The tech is proving to have many benefits and advantages. I won't be surprised if they contribute to the strengthening of virtual currency usage as well.

Who else is into VR headsets here? A contributor for Forbes.com attended the 2018 Game Developers Conference (GDC 2018) and assessed the current state of VR. He says there were a lot less experimental VR and a lot more commercial VR showcased this year. These new apps and games apparently have one goal –to keep us thoroughly entertained. The Museum of Other Realities (MOR) for the HTC Vive seems very interesting. The MOR experience is designed like a real-world art museum, giving a virtual platform for artists in the world to show off all the amazing VR art they have been making for the last two years. It really is an exciting time for VR. https://www.forbes.com/sites/moorinsights/2018/03/26/gdc-2018-getting-serious-about-virtual-reality/#5fb2b2241f54

While I disagree with your description of your photo, I agree with the fact that human are taking too much advantage of our natural resources. We are now facing global warming, water shortage etc.

I believe blockchain truly is a breakthrough technology that provide plenty of benefits to society, including virtual currencies. And so this virtual, cryptoworld is already in our midst.

It certainly looks bright. The digital economy alone shouldn’t be understated. More and more people are investing their real-world money in virtual assets, while businesses of all sizes have begun to accept cryptocurrencies in exchange for goods and services both online and in-store. Even insurance agencies are seeing the potential for blockchain technology.Truly, virtual currencies are the future.

We can't predict the future per se. But we can certainly make informed guesses. These are based on extrapolation of trends or on probabilities and likelihoods. Also, why make predictions when we can somehow create our future? For instance, the different kinds of technology (virtual reality, etc) will certainly shape the future.

I agree with what an investor said about bubbles. He says these bubbles are necessary to bring capital into the market to see if these innovations are actually going to stand. So slowly but surely, it seems that blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies are creeping into our lives. And in the near future, cash will be a thing of the past.

What is interesting is how scientists are preparing for a future where our bodies won't be a hindrance anymore. What if we all were to live in a virtual world?

Bitcoin made me more open to technology and its role in society. Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general for me, is a prelude to a digital-dependent future.

Then it’s our fault too. According to an article posted on The Guardian, it were the hot oceans that fueled Hurricane Harvey, producing intense rainfall. The scientists used rainfall data and calculated how much heat fell in the form of rain. The results were a nearly perfect match with the energy taken up by the storm. And just before Harvey, ocean waters both globally and in the Gulf of Mexico were at record temperature because of human warming.
This could mean that storms can become more violent in our continuously warming world.
Oh, Earth. We continue to fail you.

I read an article on Forbes that reports how solar panels aren’t so clean after all. A Chinese solar official, along with research scientists with the German Stuttgart Institute for Photovoltaics, discovered the problem of solar panel disposal. They say it, “will explode with full force in two or three decades and wreck the environment” because it “is a huge amount of waste and they are not easy to recycle.” And apparently, pollutants such as lead or carcinogenic cadmium can be almost completely washed out of the fragments of solar modules over a period of several months, for example by rainwater.” How ironic is it that even as we try to create a sustainable environment, our efforts are only making it worse? Is there really no hope for saving our Earth? https://www.forbes.com/sites/michaelshellenberger/2018/05/23/if-solar-panels-are-so-clean-why-do-they-produce-so-much-toxic-waste/#7bd97e0b121c

A cashless society will help pave the way toward living in a virtual world. Easy, convenient and seamless.

My ideal future would be living in a world without want, where materialism won't be an ideology and the environment is not endangered.

I agree. VR needs lots of improvement. But I'm definitely excited to explore its many benefits --especially how it makes an impact on art, science, politics, etc.

Even virtual reality will make living forever possible. If I get the opportunity to extend my life, especially if I get to live it with my family, I'm all for it.

More and more reports nowadays are painting a virtual world in the future where it is possible for human consciousness to be digitized.
