1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that might survive in the future? on: August 10, 2017, 08:13:59 PM
Ether, Ripple, Monero and Litecoin are here to stay imho.

I think also Factom and Decred could have a bright future in the long term.
All of these coins may still be here, but I don't think all of them will stay in the top 10 for many years.
Of the ones you mention, I would say Litecoin and Bitcoin will hold good positions, as they are the only ones on your list that have solid tech.
Also, not much to say about Decred, since some aspects of this I still need to understand.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH is crashing on: July 11, 2017, 02:11:46 PM
Almost thirty percent drop in the last seven days... Nothing new for altcoins, but for a multibillion dollar market cap it's a lot.
3  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10K at the end of 2017? on: June 22, 2017, 11:22:11 PM
If devs and miners manage to finish the year with Bitcoin+SegWit in a single chain, I think that is possible.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: June 07, 2017, 11:43:00 PM
Not many, since I do not live surrounded by many tech people.
5  Other / MultiBit / Re: 10 days and no confirmations, help? on: May 21, 2017, 01:04:42 PM
Try to have a good timing when using it. In the past I have had success using it in the first minutes of every hour.
6  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Butterflylabs Huge SCAM on: May 03, 2017, 09:33:59 PM
Really sad that this happened, I know very reputable people in crypto who fell into this scheme.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin SegWit will be activated in less than 11 days on: April 18, 2017, 12:23:45 PM
Good to see this happening. I do not think the activation will take the currency to fifty dollars or something, but the important thing is the benefits this will bring to the ecosystem, and to Bitcoin, of course.
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: April 18, 2017, 12:13:44 PM
I learned the hard lesson of not putting all the eggs in the same basket. Since then, I've saved something around twenty percent of my portfolio in Bitcoin.
9  Other / Off-topic / Re: Interesting websites to visit when you're bored. on: April 18, 2017, 12:05:49 PM
Lately I've spent most of the time in crypto, but when that does not happen, I usually visit games related and hardware related youtube channels.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: April 18, 2017, 11:57:02 AM
Among the thousands of banks around the world, certainly some of them already provide this possibility, but the point is that this kills the purpose of the coin.
In addition to relying on third parties to gain access to your coins, you would have to pay much higher fees compared to normal use of the currency.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: f2pool starts signaling segwit for Litecoin. Will LTC enable segwit before BTC? on: April 01, 2017, 11:56:24 PM
Interesting... before it became official, I suspected the pump had some relation to segwit. It will be interesting to see where this goes, and speculate on the effects of this if the improvement comes to Bitcoin.
