I don't understand why everybody is complaining about supply.
Say the reward was 3.14 instead of 314, the price would be 100x larger. What difference would it make?
Dogecoin had a huge huge supply and very low price, nobody complained there.
By putting a supply halving and limited supply of the coin, you gave reward to the early adopters of your coin thus use human desire to market your coin, if your coin devalues quickly, you undermines the interest of your adopters, thus there will be much less adopters and your project can't get its goal without the mass.
you can't really go against humanity if you want to succeed.
there is really no high castle wall now to defend your idea from competitors.
