I have the same problem with one of my msi rx580 armor 8gb. After one week stop to work, in windows device manager says that windows has stopped the gpu because of a problem and with ati flash (before flashing) the bios change from rx580 series to polaris 10. I try everything but nothing... did you resolve? thanks.

One gpu in one of my rigs stop today. In device manager says that windows stop the device because it has reported problems (error 43). I try everithing. Clean reinstall the drivers, plug only this card, plug only 2 cards, change riser, change pci port but nothing. I also try to put in another rig but still not working. The only thing that is working are the fans. In MSI afterburner all datas are 0. In gpu-z some datas just disappears (like samsung memory etc...). Is the GPU dead ? Thanks!

Where did you find guys the GPUs ? I've buyed just 5 sapphire RX480 8GB from Amazon.it (i'm in Europe) and after that i'm going crazy. I can't find no one Gpu anywhere!!! No 470 or 480 or 570 or 580 nothing!

I have a Rig with 3 sapphire rx480 8GB an i want to buy 2 more (my motherboard has 5 pcie). Can i use 3 rx480 and 2 rx580 in the same rig? How much is the real more speed of the rx580?

Hello! I'm dual mining ETH-PASL with claymore in suprnova.cc pool. I think it is all ok but i can't understand how the wallet work. Can somebody help me ? Where is my wallet number (like Eth wallet)? how can i get paid from the pool?

Ok... after reading 56 pages of posts here now i'm am very very very confused. So if some good guy can help me I'll be very grateful.
I start my first diy rig before few days ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=979817;sa=showPosts ) and because i'm at the start i didn't touch GPUs bios or overclocking. So now i would like to push my system up. I want a stable system at max performances without the risk of burn my house (and the GPUs). I haven't problems with electricity.

My system:

GPUs: 3x Sapphire nitro+ 8GB rx480 oc (11260-01-20)
OS: Windows 10 (64bit)
GPUs drivers: 16.7.3
Mining software: Genoil claymore 9.0
Pool: ethermine.org


So how much MH/s can i have for every card for a stable and secure system (without electricity problem)? Please help me for how to mod Bios and how to overclock and tell me if i need to change drivers or mining software or pool.

And now... As you see in the images i'm mining from 61MH/s to 77MH/s Max. I know that to have more MH/s (90-95 total?) i have to mod bios and overclock the cards but after a lot (belive me A LOT) of search i'm still confused and i'm afraid of demaging the cards. I have no problem with electricity (and also with cooling the room with a/c) so i can push the cards at max but always with safety because i do not want to burn my house and my family.

So my questions are:

1) how can i mod the bios of the cards (and backup the original for the warranty) ?
2) how can i overclock the cards (with trixx or what?) ?
3) are the GPU drivers that i have good ? (16.7.3)
4) what is the best system monitor software (maybe with some mail alert for problems)?
5) how can i see what i collect from the pool and how i can change the minimum payout?
6) i have my wallet in a macbook pro. Is this good or is better to have the wallet in the same pc of mining?
7) how to backup the wallet (i just save the keystore (UTC) in a usbdisk is this ok?)
8.) Can i use my miner for every day use (just mail, internet, socials networks etc..)?
