1  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Agora Commodities - A Full Service Bitcoin to Precious Metal Dealer. on: December 10, 2013, 12:32:14 PM
I just received my silver order last night. I can confirm Agora Commodities is one of the best, if not the best, to buy precious metals from via BTC. I did have to contact Joseph since the wrong tracking number was added to the notes, but he quickly responded with his apologies and the correct tracking number. The packaging itself was a priority 2-day mail box with packing peanuts and the silver bullion was individually plastic wrapped. If there was a way to add more than $50 worth of insurance to the shipment I would be at a bit more ease, but all in all, I will surely use Agora Commodities again in the future!  Smiley

There seems to be a problem showing the balance, recent bets, and stats when viewing with Chrome, but seems okay with IE. Or is this just me?  Huh

7  Bitcoin / Project Development / Bitcoin Unit Converter on: April 26, 2013, 03:37:52 AM
Many of the people who have been using BTC for a while may know the terms such as mBTC and uBTC, and know how to go between them easily. But those who are new to the game probably do not. While it's nothing too crazy, here's my go at a unit converter for Bitcoins. It was written in AHK and is the source code is included so you can compile it yourself if you feel to do so. I personally find the program useful going between units, so i'm sure a few others would as well. Enjoy!  Cheesy

Download [1.0.3]: Windows
(Sorry for leaving 'nix users out, but the program to port wasn't working correctly. Possible future release?)

How To Use:
1). Download and unzip the above .zip file
2). Run the included exe file, or compile from source
3). Enter the current unit you are converting from (.1mBTC, for example)
4). Press the convert button
5). Program will convert entered unit in to all the other units (0.0001BTC and 10000 Satoshi, for example)
6). Press the clear button to reuse

10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC or LTC? on: April 22, 2013, 12:32:11 PM
I say BTC as it is more accepted in the Cryptocurrency world. But i'm not throwing LTC under the bus, it has a purpose.

I would stay away from LTC mining on a laptop. Although it would probably shut down before any serious damage, it still might give you a bad Apple Wink.

A lot of good advice here. I wasn't aware PP had a policy against currency exchange, and such a high freeze rate, so I'll be sure to stay away.
