1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / New scrypt mining rigs - difficulty rise ? on: May 15, 2017, 09:59:18 PM
I want to invest in a new scrypt miner - due to the pump in the crypto world in the last few weeks I've gotten some extra funds and want to put them to good use now!

So which one do you think I would go for...

Of course there's the wolf v1 https://www.ehsminer.com/product/ehs-asic-scrypt-miner-vi/ which is 2 GH fast, but costs €6400.

I just read on CCN https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/knc-miner-returns-improved-mining-product-sale/ that knc is making a comeback with a titan 2.0 , which is  $1499 for 750 MH

What do you think would be best for the future, considering how the difficulty increases
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: April 29, 2017, 04:40:10 PM
... Because it's anonymous, fast, and you can transfer money worldiwde with very low fees.

Wiring money to a foreign country is actually more difficult (and expensive) than you'd expect.
When sending something via western union you can easily calculate more than 10% in fees.

Bitcoin on the other hand can be received within a few minutes, but the best thing is that the fees are extremely low!
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin (and a special mention) mentioned on Infowars. on: April 06, 2017, 02:57:36 PM
I have said it a a lot of times and will say it again:every publicity is good, people need to stop observing who said this and focus on the positive:BTC is being mentioned amongst people and in the media and that is the only thing that matters.I personally believe that is the only way not only for BTC,but for any idea or project to succeed:people have to recognise that you have to offer something and if that's not the case, it will be hard to move forward

100% agreed. Every source of publicity is great for crypto, whoever it came from.
Nice to see bitcoin being mentioned in the mainstream media more continuously. The majority of average joe's still haven't heard of bitcoin or crypto before in their life but I hope that will change gradually.
