2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you convince the people to invest in Bitcoin? on: March 08, 2018, 11:25:52 AM
How do you convince the people to invest in Bitcoin?  When most of the people around doesn't believe on Bitcoin because for them Bitcoin is just computer thing...
I like the term Computer Thingy. Someone just convince me to do bitcoin and he convinced me by giving proof. I thought he's the only one do this but it's not I think all my peers do this and this is why they always treat me lunch. They earn here.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin Is Too Complicated for Average People! on: March 08, 2018, 10:04:52 AM
i agree that bitcoin is complicated but that is only because bitcoin is different, it is no longer like what we used to do before bitcoin like using banks, using services like Paypal,... now we are having all of them in one place. we are our own bank. and that makes it a bit complicated for newcomers to adapt.

but i strongly disagree with saying bitcoin is "too complicated".
and you talk a lot about buying fees, but that has nothing to do with bitcoin being complicated or not! that is just the fee that some third party service is taking in order to take your worthless fiat and give you valuable bitcoin Wink
I think it's not hard for average people to understand bitcoin. I am a average person but I understand it. It is not about the IQ it is about how you want to learn. If your aggressive to learn then you'll learn.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: lots of recycled threads on: March 08, 2018, 01:35:44 AM
i have noticed that our forum is flooded with threads that are created by newbies that post recycled topics, meaning, the topics are already posted and this clearly shows that newbies are not reading, my advise to all newbies, you must read first, learn to back read and study the threads here, do not just post. in doing so, this will prevent you from being locked out, posting a new topic doesn't make you merit-worth or rank up.

to some ranked members, we can help newbies by giving them advise to post quality topics worth of time and informative as possible, we should only reply on topics that has not yet been discussed so we can discourage flooding of nonsense threads.

if you can post some tips here for the newbies who wishes to rank up but deserving to be merited please do so. let us help each other.

some of my advise would be:

1. look for the date of which that topic was created, if it has already hundreds of replies please choose another updated topics to reply at

2. never reply to nonsense inquiry or poll that is illogical

3. learn to write in proper english grammar or at least can be understood by many

4. reply directly to the point, it doesn't matter if it is just a one-liner reply, as long as it is direct to the point, and not full of so many not so important words, a long paragraphed reply is not the basis of having a merit or just to make it look good to your campaign/ bounty managers.

that's right, the first time i explored bitcointalk.org was about a half year ago, and I heard lots of threads are being deleted but as  I explore now, topics are the same as the last time I visited.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: Central of the Philippines Recognizes Bitcoin on: October 14, 2017, 08:38:40 AM
I'm from Philippines also. Yes its good news to us! Because many Filipino heard that news they might been interested to invest to bitcoin. So the price of bitcoin will pump to high.  What if big investor can read that and invest big money the bitcoin price go to the moon. Thanks to bank central ng pilipinas for publishing like that news. Many people the job is bitcoin and many (ofw) overseas Filipino workers the sideline in bitcoin. I think it will not end this year bitcoin will become popular in my country.

And it also means that Filipinos knows bitcoin, it can help lots people.
