1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether/USDT Security on: April 20, 2017, 08:14:32 PM
tHAT SAID.

Who ever is the $-peg, and can offer decentralized trustee expansion.
WINS!

Very simple idea.

Agent X holds $50k dollars in Bank XYZ.
Agent Y holds $50k dollars in Bank ABC.

this scales.

the blocks of $-value per trustee are of mater of importance.

It will work.  Question is who does it?

I am working on a 100% secured currency that has a minimum 1 USD value.  I have worked out the legal, tax, and banking aspects of the project, but I am still in need of developers on the technical side if you know anyone who might be interested.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the altcoin market saturated? What 'features' might be needed still? on: April 12, 2017, 08:50:00 PM
Given, we have about 1k alts now and only a few with significant trading vol ( agreed this is fishy, but vols < 1Mio$ per day is crap)

How is the distribution, still very central?

Given, that we have Turing Complete Alts = TCA that should be able to mimic all we might need? Could we replace all alts with these TCAs?

Or do we just need to be scammed more and more and every day like in shiny Casino industry?

Pump & Dump!

 Huh

There are lots of features that would be useful in an altcoin which have not been achieved yet, including:
(1)  Price stability;
(2)  Method for garnishment/attachment through legal process;
(3)  Ability to associate name/identifying information so that coin serves more like a bank account and can better interface with existing banking systems.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where Do I Find Altcoin Coders? on: April 10, 2017, 06:36:44 PM
I have an altcoin in mind that differs significantly from the existing alternatives.  Unfortunately, I do not have the skills required to implement the design changes from the available open source libraries.  Does anyone have advice on where to find someone(s) available for hire that might have the right talents?

You can put job offers on this website in the marketplace subforum, you are going to need to offer a good payday if you want to get good coders for your idea, most good coders are working on their own projects I assume.

Thanks.  I agree that finding someone good will be difficult, but I am offering a steady income during development and bonuses when certain stages are reached.
