If you contributed bitcoin from an address which you control the private key, what steps do you need to take in order to receive your tokens?
Yes, I would like to know this too. Thanks

I have BitcoinCore 0.14.1 installed. Downloaded the latest version of Armory, but it won't work. I keep getting a pop up message from windows that ArmoryDB.exe has stopped working and then offered to close window. Any solutions? Thanks!

Is sending BTC from a Ledger Nano S an acceptable means of contribution to receive the AE ERC20 tokens? Thanks
|
|
|
Another three question:
1.) when will BTC contributors receive the ERC20 AE token? how will they claim without contributing via a Ethereum wallet?
2.) when will the ERC20 AE token be tradeable on exchanges?
3.) did phase 1 contributors receive their ERC20 AE tokens yet?
thanks

Hi - can someone tell me or point me in the right direction re. the following?
What percentage of the AE tokens go to ICO contributors (phases 1 and 2)? What % goes to founders? What percentage goes to foundation? Etc. Thanks!!

Hi - two questions:
1. Can I send BTC from my Ledger Nano S and receive AE tokens? How will I receive them?
2. Will BTC contributors have access to ERC20 tokens before launch?
I read somewhere AE are initially Ethereum ERC20 tokens that will be tradeable before launch and then burned in exchange for AE. How does that work for BTC contributors?
Thanks!!
1 - you need to know/have your private key and ether wallet to receive ERC20 AE tokens. 2 - yes, sure. Migration is the same as for ETH contributors. Can you explain a bit more how this works? thanks

Is it possible (and safe) to import an offline armory wallet seed into an newly created offline electrum wallet to sign transactions on a newly created offline electrum wallet? thanks
|
|
|
It depends.
For wallets using hardened keys, it is fully safe to export private keys with zero risk of the whole chain of addresses getting compromised if a single key gets compromised.
However, if your wallet happens to create unhardened keys. Given a public parent key and a private child key, you can calculate the private keys of the entire chain of addresses. This is very dangerous if you do leak the public parent key.
I'm not too sure about Armory however.
Thanks. How can I determine is my wallet software uses a hardened or unhardened key?

If one private key of a deterministic wallet gets compromised, are the other keys (and the seed) still secure?
Example: create an armory offline wallet with seed. In this case armory 0.90-beta installed in ubuntu 12.04 offline computer.
I want to transfer some BTC from one address in the offline armory wallet by importing the private key for one of the addresses in the offline wallet to a Bitcoin Core online wallet for whatever reason. If the private key is somehow compromised, are the remaining BTC on different addresses in the same armory offline wallet still secure (same seed)? Thanks!!

The 6th and subsequent rounds (yet to be announced) will follow similar rules, but the relative weight of bytes vs. BTC (i.e. which amount of bytes gives the same share in the new distribution as 1 BTC) in the 6th and further rounds will change and will gradually increase to 1 BTC=62.5 MB. It will be selected to maximize the value of bytes and keep the speed of distribution in sync with the growth of user base and the actual use of the network. Can someone interpret this for me? Does this mean bytes will earn more or less than 10% going forward. The way it is worded is slightly confusing to me.

Just to expand on the above post:
I'm using the two wallet system offline/online system which I set up 3 years ago using 0.90 version of Armory. My online computer no longer works (accident) but I had no coins stored on it. I have a new computer and want to install a version of Armory that will work with my 0.90 offline version. I would prefer not to download new software into my offline computer for security reasons if possible. What's the best solution?
Thanks!
