1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XBC] BitcoinPlus 🌟Official Thread🌟官方公告 on: May 19, 2017, 12:57:51 PM
For those who are visiting this board: This price of this coin is highly EXPLOSIVE!!! It will gain notice with every pump that happens. Just check the 3 months chart.
Don't put all your eggs in this basket, cause you will need patience and otherwise you will fear missing out on other gains...

I'm sure patience will pay off big time for Bitcoin Plus!!!
Looking forward to the coinmarketcap campaign...

Kudos to the team!

Sorry, I don't have a lot of time, but I have an idea:
We should update all different Wikipedia articles about crypto curreny:
List of Cryptocurrencies, list of PoS coins, Bitcoin scaling discussion articles, Proof of Stake article in particular

Update which Wikipedia article?Bitcoinplus don't have a wiki but maybe we should.

Yes, I mean to create a wiki entry for Bitcoin Plus and add links to it from various crypto/Bitcoin related pages like
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proof-of-stake

I think it's good to delegate some marketing work.
Another proposal: I'm not exactly sure how current funding works, but you could do some kind of job posting (not in public, but in crypto communities). Find someone with experience in web-marketing who shares your vision and values and who also believes in XBC and offer them a "share". This person (those persons) could then take care of all the PR work, writing articles, tweets, building infographics, asking popular people (in crypto) to promote and support...

I really like this project and I see a huge potential. I have some suggestions (I hope it's fine to give feedback that was not asked for) :
People check on twitter (#xbc, $XBC, #bitcoinplus) etc to see whether the project is legit and whether there is a lot of dev and community support: let the people constantly know that you are on it, 100%, I know you are. there are currently only a few guys on twitter that point out the potential (like crypto gossip), but without digging, people won't see it at first.
- let people know what you are working on.
- let them know your vision.
- let them know that you have a working team with funding
- let them know about the potential.
- post charts (what would happpen if 1% of BTC market cap would move to XBC)
- let them know about upcoming press-releases
- let them know about exchanges that you try to get XBC on
- let them know about the fundamentals, not only giving technical stats, but tell them for example about the power of PoS (more decentralized, more eco friendly)
- tell them to not longer wait for the fork, the solution is already here

Let the people know the stuff!!!
One or two tweets a day and people will see the potential...

PoSWallet is in the process of registering with FinCEN as an MSB (Money Services Business). PoSWallet may be required to file details of account activity to this organization from time to time.

I'm not for one second suggesting POSwallet cannot be trusted. But I would never leave my coins on a 3rd party site like that. We have seen it too often in Crypto. Here one day. Gone the next.

I agree with you. Also, have you seen their privacy policy?

"What information does PoSWallet collect?
If you open an Account to utilize the Services, we may collect your full name, address, phone number, email address, and other similar information; date of birth; government issued identification; other personal information provided by 3rd party identity verification services (...)"

Not tired of giving away your privacy and personal power to external third parties guys?  My XBC will ALWAYS stay in my ANONYMOUS wallet, under MY control, not under the control of total strangers who want to know everything about you.  This PoSWallet thing surely looks to me like another parasitic entity linked to the surveillance state mentality.

Wasn't the promise of cryptocurrencies, to bring back anonymity and privacy to people?  Of course everyone is free to make their own choices based on their own perspective.

I also agree with you.
I can however understand the privacy policies, because they are actually acting as a crypto-exchange, so I feel they need to comply. Without giving other information than email, I think there is a daily withdrawal limit of 500$. I still think it would be a good idea to support the exchange for staking smaller amounts (pooling for more regular rewards) maybe below 1000$...

Hi guys,

I saw that someone already suggested to het XBC listed on PosWallet.
I want to emphasize this point:
- great way for people to stake without leaving your computer on
- another exchange that will gain popularity, I'm sure
- perfect advertising platform to reach people that are interested in PoS coins (you can advertise the new banner there)
- paid listing happens within 24 hours.

Are there plans for PosWallet support?
