1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 6 GPU rig AsRock Z97 Extreme 6 Windows 10 on: April 22, 2017, 05:32:08 AM
Most of the times it's the risers fault

I guess the risers are powered, correct?
Try changing risers/GPUs to check them,
Also remove all of the GPUs and boot with one at a time

Thank you evakka for the reply! Finally someone is willing to engage in the solution! I am grateful for your troubleshoot at the solution but, I have already sequenced all GPUS through all risers and in turn through all 1x, 16x & mini PCIe slots. They all work perfectly solo, as one would expect. The issue I believe is that my mini PCIe shares the same lane with my PCIe 1x lane 3. Any ideas on that? The only other thread I could find on this was from 2013-2014 here:https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=391411.0 I truly believe this can and should work but I am overlooking a piece of the puzzle here!?!?!

Surely someone here has to have some advice!?!
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / 6 GPU rig AsRock Z97 Extreme 6 Windows 10 on: April 15, 2017, 06:13:42 PM
So here is my current set up:
Windows 10 64bit
AsRock Z97 Extreme6
Intel Celeron G1840 2.8GHZ
6x XFX Radeon RX 480 8GB (however I can only get 5 to work at this time)
Kingston 120GB SSD
Hyperx Fury 8GB DDR3
HP 1200W PSU dedicated for GPUs
Evga 1000W PSU dedicated to mobo, etc.

Has anybody successfully gotten all 6 GPUs to be recognized? I have all 5 PCIe slots working flawlessly. My issue is with the mini PCIe slot that I have a Mini PCIe to PCIe 1x adapter to 16x USB 3.0 riser. During the build and testing, this setup(Mini PCIe) worked fine and produced video through HDMI so I KNOW it works. Do I have a power problem or is this a Windows 10 issue? Any help or advice would be much appreciated. Thanks for your time and suggestions in advance!

Your wallet address is in the incorrect format. You need to put "0x" in front of it so your command string to start the miner should be as follows:

12:53:31:314   1908   args: -epool eth-us-east1.nanopool.org:9999 -ewal 0xb3995a07324ye6b0c8z61937fc36d430adcc6fa1 -epsw x -eworker -allpools 1

You can also add a worker ID and your email to be notified if your worker goes offline.

12:53:31:314   1908   args: -epool eth-us-east1.nanopool.org:9999 -ewal b3995a07324ye6b0c8z61937fc36d430adcc6fa1/WorkerID/youremail@domain.ext -epsw x -eworker -allpools 1

WOW...thanks SO much jackbox...I knew it had to be something so simple! That worked and shares are already being found!

Hey guys, I am new to Ether mining and the cryptocurrency community but am looking forward to the experience! I just got my rig built and am trying to get connected to Nanopool to start mining. I have read and read and then read some more before getting into this. I have followed the instructions to the best of my knowledge but can't seem to get Claymore to operate properly. Below is the most recent log from trying to run Claymore along with my current setup below that. What am I missing and what do I need to fix to get this best running? I am sure it is something so simple and I have just over analyzed my issue. Any help is much appreciated and thank you in advance for your knowledge and insight!
