1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🚀EtherSpin Casino 🚀 ⭐ Bet with Any Cryptocurrency ⭐ 🔥 Bounty 🔥 on: March 04, 2018, 11:35:24 PM
Listing in an exchange is a huge deal, put this on watch.
For Bounty Manager, who can we talk to?
How are we going to reach for the bounty?

Details are coming soon! We'll be providing a great reward size for all participants to make sure our project is successful.

We're happy to see such wonderful feedback! We're reaching out to find quality campaign managers for our project as well. Pass us a message if you're interested in joining EtherSpin!

The online gambling industry is very huge, allowing to bet with any cryptocurrency is a very outstanding idea.
Good luck!

The Bitcoin and crypto gambling industry is huge. But how many tokens will be released in the sale? Any airdrop programs? Hopefully we can get a good deal on them.  Grin

Hi! Our whitepaper details all of the token information available. There will be a good deal for early investors, but we won't heavily discount the tokens since we are serious about the project.

Unlike other ICOs, we are capping supply in our ICO with one round because we're serious about the project and investors. No more tokens will be created or distributed after. A token lockup will also be in place.

The online gambling industry is extremely huge, research says the size of the industry is over 40 billion. I would like to hear your thought about the gambling community, because online gambling needs to attract a lot of user base and provide stability, as the online gambling industry is so humongous, how does EtherSpin stand out in the gambling scene?

Yup, we will be the first to capture the gambling of every cryptocurrency except for non-Bitcoin/Ethereum. There are currently no existing cryptocurrency casinos for most coins, and we will be the first for all of them.

Thankyou for answering, this is a very good approach. I think it gives me incentive to hold altcoins more rather than only investment growth.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Is Really A Good Investment or Not? on: March 04, 2018, 11:27:21 PM
Hello, Friends...

I Recently listen about the ICO (Initial Coin Offerings)! But I'm confused, Is it a Right Investment or Not?

Anyone Suggests me!
Many ICO projects are successful after the project is completed, but many also fail. I think ICO is good for investment, but you have to learn first about ICO that you want to follow in order to get good result. If you are not careful before you follow the ICO, chances are you can get stuck in a fake investment.
yes it is, but not every ico are good to invest. there are a few ico that will become so successful so you must investigate first before investing.
I know a lot of people invested in an ICO but receive nothing, because they dont have enough knowledge about ico's.
Even you have enough knowledge to investing into ICO, but ICO is not an easy form to investing money ang get high profit. The total number of successful project = 1/100 the failure project. Nowadays, the most ICO trending is private sale and only those who have huge amount can make money from this field.
This is so true, often we need look at team and actual product to feel right about the project.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How is Tron still a top 20 coin on: March 04, 2018, 01:21:31 AM
Tron had this white paper scam, copied completely from ethereum.
But price of Tron actually remains in the top 20 after the exposure.
I feel like we are running out of real project

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Just use the mechanics of the market. on: February 21, 2018, 04:11:39 AM

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sniping 10-20% on coins that haven't recovered yet. Any sleepers? on: February 07, 2018, 09:50:36 PM

9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is bitcoin over? on: February 06, 2018, 02:36:58 AM
Just because a big drop, doesn't mean over.
Its over when user base has completely move away.
That won't happen in a short time, even regulation cannot control crypto completely.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Fidelity adopts bitcoin! on: May 24, 2017, 09:39:40 PM
Great news, reputable investment company trust in bitcoin? It will bolster faith in bitcoin among non-believers.

When we consider short bitcoin history, if the coin will remain on the same path, then suddenly BTC becomes the best retirement fund you can imagine.

I am a bit confused though, so Fidelity Investments incorporated Bitcoin into theirs investments plans too?

A large institution with thousands of customers adopting bitcoin will definitely instill a lot of faith in bitcoin and attract customers to invest in bitcoin. Next step would be an Bitcoin ETF and the millennial generation will actually be able to retire on bitcoin
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: May 24, 2017, 09:25:06 PM
Bitcoin is definitely more volatile than gold. It just comes down to a matter of volatility preference. If your goal is to slowly save for retirement or have a rainy day fund, i would choose gold but if you want to make large capital gains in a short period of time, then bitcoin is the way to go.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: May 12, 2017, 01:06:32 AM
Bitcoins could never replace fiat currency. Why? because governments wont allow it to, just like US government wouldn't allow Saddam Hussein to denominate Iraqi oil in Euros.
There's always a conflict of interest and every government want their own to be more popular as that means it's more powerful. With bitcoin, there is no government that controls it due to it's decentralized by nature so we are just enjoying it regardless of our races because it's use worldwide and getting popular now. It's popularity somewhat has some limits and that limits is being an alternative currency and not a legal one.

and I think it would be best if it stays this way to avoid powerful greedy people from manipulating it. as it stands, I think there's not going to be any change when it comes to fiat being the global monetary system
Well, maybe bitcoin can be an alternative to fiat, but i also think that it will not replace. There are so many things to consider in bitcoins, such as unstable prices. It may be very difficult if bitcoin replaces the fiat.
Bitcoins just wouldnt replace fiat period. Right now its hardly a currency as it is a tool for speculation. Bitcoin has a long way to go before it becomes the currency it was designed to be nonetheless replace fiat currency.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: May 11, 2017, 04:21:56 AM
you can make a gambling website, promote the hell out of it, and earn steady income off of the house edge. I think its more reliable than trading; at least you know for certain that you are more statistically likely to win.
trading is definitely a lot harder than some people make it out to be. It takes a lot more practice than people think and successful traders usually have an experience mentor as well as many years of experience. You have to be really good to be able to make a steady income off of trading. buying and holding is definitely the way to go if you want to make capital gains steadily.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: May 11, 2017, 04:05:26 AM
Certainly, bitcoin is becoming a world wide currency, and will grow bigger in the future. Half of the places I go now, all except bitcoin.  Wink I guess that's a good thing for us investors. BTC
A global currency, yes. A major global currency, unfortunately not, and it seems a long way off happening too..
There is a long list of countries that are being screwed over with negative interest rates and massively devalued currencies, people in these countries would have done very well getting their money into bitcoin a few months ago, but as can be seen by the low price, they aren't really doing that.

I guess price volatility is still too high, or upwards price volatility too low for people to be tempted in on mass.
We may take the word global currency as a currency that can use all around the world. Which true when it come to bitcoin. Because we all know that bitcoin is crypto-currency where you can used it with the power of internet and web and technology is widely spread all over te world. So using it on a wider scale or global is easy for it. And as the days goes by new developmet to its price and transaction will be made so a major global currency may be true for it in the near future.

bitcoin can to be a global currency. Bitcoin is much in demand by people because technology and ease transactions. Yes, internet has reached almost all the world and bitcoin is in it.

Bitcoin is already a Global currency, Just open your eyes and mind. Bitcoin is already used world wide in terms of digital currency. So it just means that it ws already a global currency but in tenms of digital currency.
yeah there is many chances to make bitcoin a global currency and bitcoin demand is also too much high and easy transaction and there is many people are earning money through bitcoin in good amount they are also trader.
I would argue that bitcoin as of right now is more of a tool used for speculation than an actual currency. the number of people who hold bitcoin in order to make capital gains greatly exceeds the number of people who actually purchases items with it.
You are probably spot on with that comment.
I am an active bitcoin users buying most goods and paying bills using bitcoin but when i post that here everyone jumps in with comments like "you shouldn't spend any btc just yet, wait and it will go up"
Last time i checked bitcoin was a currency so people should be spending at least some of what they have.

I say just treat bitcoin as you would fiat, spend what you need to and then save the rest.

But how to use bitcoin as fiat if most stores don't accept it? To pay bills for an example, it's impossible, only fiat is accepted, bitcoin can be used on very restrict places, few sites and few sellers accept it online.
Bitcoin is being more useful as saving investment on long run, in special for countries where fiat loses price each new day.
I guess it really depends on what country you are living in.
Here in Australia we have plenty of options available to spend bitcoins.
If i want to pay any bill i use this site: https://www.livingroomofsatoshi.com/
And for in store purchases a bitcoin debit card is great.

If you want to be able to spend bitcoins then you must look at the options available to you, none of these companies make a big profit so you won't see much advertising.
with the way prices are moving right now, the rational person would not spend any bitcoin, but rather to hold it. Money needs to be a stable storage of value if we want less speculation and more of what it was intended to be. Im a huge believer in bitcoin and cryptocurrency, but our existing infrastructure has a long way to go before bitcoins can be used like regular money.

17  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: May 09, 2017, 12:47:27 AM
If not everyone used bitcoins in 2022 probably it will increase the number using bitcoins in 2022.
I doubt that everyone will be using bitcoin on year 2022. The awareness will spread throughout the world but thinking that all of us will be using it at the same time is not going to happen. 5 years from now, is not enough to make everyone use bitcoin by that year.
Bitcoin will not be used by almost everyone because if bitcoin will be used by almost any people around the world then bitcoin will lack of its supply and have a shortage and that is why bitcoin is not designed for everyone. I think bitcoin will just be accepted by the shop owners and not everyone because that is very impossible.

Don't think that the supply will lack for all the potential users of bitcoin. Because if we are going to become many, the demand will be higher and that's the start of bitcoin's price to increase. Just like what is happening now, even there is a limitation for the supply still many are going to get into it because there is so called mBTC or satoshi's.

Widespread bitcoin usage will definitely cause some issues with the scale of the units. there aren't enough bitcoins in the world for 7billion people to use. I think when bitcoin gets to that stage, there will be a requirement for something that is even smaller than mBTC.
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this realistically or just a dream ? on: April 28, 2017, 08:49:52 AM
helo,,
i read some article about bitcoin price could be reach $500,000 in 2030
and this analys come from the first snaphcat's investor

https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-price-will-reach-500000-realistically-snapchats-first-investor

the most question in my mind is,,

is that really realistically or just a dream ?

regards
That could be realistic if there were no competitors in the ecosystem. BTC is facing a lot of competition from other currencies so it's hard to tell which one will reach that sort of price.
19  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How do I buy bitcoins? on: April 28, 2017, 08:35:28 AM
Some of website are accepting credit card but they want some documents or proof that you are really the holder of that card because they're implenting rules againts fraud because of dispute transaction or malicious activity that hackers do when they hacked credit card but if you have any other payment method like paypal you can exchange it to bitcoin easily go to exchange currency thread
Definitely avoid those credit card sites. Even if they are legit, the fees are so high you might as well not buy any in the first place.
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Now I want my transaction to be ignored/discarded... what are my chances? on: April 28, 2017, 08:19:49 AM
From what I understand, just double spend your transaction (generate a new one) but with a higher fee. This should overwrite the other one because miners like to pick up more profits.
