Isnt Gaethji already booked to put to sleep by Topuria ? Cheesy

Uh.. I was just saying bro.  Even if Gaethje is already booked, it doesn't mean Gaethje and Pimblett isn't a good match up.  I mean Tsarukyan should rightfully get the title shot next imho.  And Pimblett should get his shot against a top 5 guy and Gaethje is a winnable match up.  I don't mind Pimblett vs Dan Hooker too tho.

Anyway, I didn't realize the next even is a week after this weekend.  Meh..  Any good Bellator, FPL or ONE FC events coming this Saturday?  Grin

Some say that Tsarukyan must earn title show again and should stay and wait what big boss and Topuria say Cheesy I say that he should be first in line for a title fight. I think that he, wanted to say deserve, but that would a wrong word, he has combination of skills and experience to be a champion more than anyone else right now.

Gaethje vs Pimblett - nice match-up. But from Gaethje interviews I have learned that he is sick and tired of waiting. He wants a title belt or dont want to fight at all. He is 36 and is || that close to retiring Cheesy Pimblett or Gaethje vs Tsarukyan - I think it will be an easy fight for Tsarukyan.

P.S. FFS, wanted to check if there are events besides UFC this weekend and was thinking about betting, but checked my achievements in our DMV, and it turned out I have a speeding ticket. Was going 108kmh in 70kmh area...FFS, those cowards pictured me from behind from undercover vehicle.  That is 100 EUR surprise...

I believe Tsarukyan should be one of the last contenders for the title because he has no charisma and doesn't sell any pay-per-views for the UFC. He has no charisma whatsoever, much less fans. As champion, he's more of a detriment to the organization and the division, as he'll certainly stall everything and make several demands in his fights.

After a crazy week for Benfica, here comes another matchday.

All eyes will certainly be on Benfica and their new coach, José Mourinho. Will Benfica play a different game this round?

MATCH DAY 6:
19.09 19:15 Rio Ave vs Porto
20.09 14:30 Santa Clara vs Alverca
20.09 14:30 CD Nacional vs Arouca
20.09 17:00 AVS vs SL Benfica
20.09 19:30 Vitória SC vs Braga
21.09 14:30 Tondela vs Amadora
21.09 17:00 Gil Vicente vs Estoril Praia
21.09 19:30 Casa Pia vs Famalicão
22.09 19:15 Sporting CP vs Moreirense
Info: day.month. time (UTC)

Porto wins, but given their recent matches, I wouldn't rule out a draw. Braga or a draw, Tondela or a draw. I'll analyze the rest of the games at a later date. But what worries me most is Porto's inconsistent form.

Is anyone here making a profit from sports betting? I'm thinking about betting on the Botafogo x Mirassol match today.

It's hard to go back without seeing the previous matches, but according to match history, Botafogo has had a more unpredictable run of results than Mirassol.

Man, I just commented about this in another thread. It’s been a while since I got even a single prediction right, I don’t know what else to do, it feels like bad luck is chasing me… Well, I hope you bet on Botafogo, because right now they’re beating Mirassol 3–0.
Don't worry, my friend, hahaha. I didn't lose this bet. I bet on Mirassol winning or drawing, and I took Pumared's tip into consideration. I used the freebet bonus I won in the Whale raffle.

I didn't watch the match live, as I was busy at the time and I also don't have a TV at home (I follow news and games only online), and I couldn't find free channels at the time of the broadcast. Usually, before my TV broke, I used it to play games.

When I saw the game result, I just remembered my comment and really hoped you'd bet. I got some really good odds of 2.0! I also got some other bets right in the Portuguese championship. We're doing really well with our bets!

Well , I can actually understand why Quinn retired but I'm sure after a couple of months he will miss pro Dota 2 and maybe he will give it another shot next year as for now he will be fully focused on friends , family and personal things.

Unless the players are still young, most of the players that retired and came back later wont be playing as good as they did back then. Obviously Quinn will have the option to play another position though, most of the older players took this option when they came back but yeah I doubt he would

He had an amazing career, was a mediocre players that most people didnt recoqnize back then but he somehow managed to turn it all around and won Riyadh Master 2024. He would probably choose to stream eventually like many other retired players though

I believe this retirement so young is due to wanting to do other things in life. Usually, people who start too early end up not experiencing the same things as normal people and end up wanting to think more down the road, and that's quite fair. He'll return to playing, but probably not anytime soon, not before he's fully enjoying his time.

i guess we need to start setting up a calendar with alarms for all the events/promos going on here on the forum.
there were at least 2 events i wanted to join, but i got caught up with IRL shit and totally forgot about them.

I try to maintain a list of most of the active contests in this thread: Bitcointalk's Contest Hub: Your Compass to Navigate through All Active Contests. You might also want to join our telegram contest hunter group for last minute reminders and more exclusive contests, this will certainly help you hunting some of the super profitable opportunities.
Still alarms are quite useful  Grin

Excellent topic, I didn't know it existed. And it's great to know it's being updated regularly. I believe you can register the Yeet contest in a Telegram notification bot to help display the leaderboard.

I saw an interview with Volka saying that Diego Lopes fought savagely and that he wants to fight in December against some of the fighters: Lerone Murphy, Aljamain Sterling, Diego Lopes or Evloev. I wonder if he can beat any of them at this stage?

Benfica's current squad is already very good. Like the players who have Mourinho (or another quality coach) are able to do a good job.

Lage was never a coach that the fans liked, everyone predicted that this would happen.

Now we have to wait and see if it will really be Mourinho who will be the new coach. So far, it is practically the only name spoken.

I believe it's not official yet, because they are trying to reach an agreement with all the candidates for the presidency of Benfica (which has elections in October) and accept to stay with him until the end of the season.

Let's see what happens in the next few hours.

That loss to Qarabag after wasting 2:0 lead is just shameful. It wasn't even luck, they let Qarabag to play good game. Previous game with Santa Clara was awful too.
Not sure what Mourinho can do with Benfica, but at least I'm sure that following Benfica will be much more interesting now. I just hope that they will give him more time than Fenerbahche did.

Yes, Benfica looked like a second-division team. They couldn't hold on to their lead, and on virtually every opportunity their opponent had to score, they scored. It's inexplicable on their part.

Currently, I'd bet on Mirassol or a draw. Both teams are drawing a lot, whether at home or away. And Mirassol is in better form than Botafogo. But since it's a difficult match, I'd go with Mirassol or a draw.

Isnt Gaethji already booked to put to sleep by Topuria ? Cheesy

On youtube there is an interesting theory why this years Noche UFC wasnt as cool as previous year. Dana used to be a fan of Mexican Independence Day and promised that each year Noche UFC event would be better and better. Last year it was in Sphere and cost a record amount of money for UFC to rent a venue for even. This year it was just another venue. All that because Dana has new buddy -Mr.Trump who isnt a huge fan of Mexicans Cheesy Can this be true or just another conspiracy theory?

In my view, this doesn't make sense. There must be another reason. Trump was already close friends with Dana last year, and yet this happened. And if Trump really didn't like it and had control over the UFC, this event wouldn't even happen. So, for me, it's all theory.

Team Falcons was a surprise even to them it seemed to win the biggest tournament for DOTA2.
Didn't see anyone predict they would come out on top of all the experienced teams especially the chinese teams that train night and day to be there.

Looking forward to see who on their team's roster will be there for next years International.

That really says a lot about this team. They need to keep this up to keep winning. And I think they now know they can beat a lot of opponents, and that makes all the difference.

I agree, Jean could have just calmed down and controlled himself. All the direct strikes were landing, and he would have won by Diego's fatigue or by scoring. However, whenever he was winning the round, he would always go for more. I didn't understand this strategy, but I was surprised that Diego Lopes was taking so many strikes and staying on his feet.
Here is a video on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/ufc/comments/1nggxos/how_lopez_could_eat_these_shots_is_beyond_me_what
His hair definitely makes those shots appear stronger than they actually are but I really wonder how strong those shots were. He has a very bad head movement, he and Jiri can hire someone good and train together (Jiri's head movement was quite good in the last match).

For people like Lopes and Jiri, this tip is truly invaluable. They're always fighting good fighters, and a direct punch to the face will make a difference at some point. So I think it's important for them to practice this a lot.

Finally, the Yeet team has credited my prize to me. I wouldn't be able to know that I have ended with the 10th rank if the leaderboard page was removed or disabled immediately when the timer ended. Glad that it was available for a few hours and I had taken a screenshot by noticing it. I wouldn't have any doubts if it happened one time only. I have also experienced issues with the prize amount in the previous round. Therefore, I will always have doubts about the transparency of Yeet leaderboard contest.

As mentioned here, it was a very complicated situation, but it was resolved when you realized it and reported it. So, I don't think it makes sense to talk about transparency or anything related to it when you already have your award.

Based on your prediction, you're considering betting on these teams to win.

Well... But, Benfica just drew the game with Santa Clara, who had been playing with 10 players since the 30th minute.
A truly shameful game by Benfica.

I thought Sporting's game against Famalicao would be the most difficult and that I would lose a bet, but what happened was that Benfica drew a game that should have been easy  Roll Eyes

All credit must go to Santa Clara this time
As you said, they played most of the game with 10 players, managed a draw after 90 minutes, and on top of that had only 22% possession

It was a very unusual game for Benfica

Honestly, Benfica lost this game badly. They were superior; the only statistic they lost was shots on goal. What should have been their focus wasn't prioritized; they only managed three shots in the entire game. I honestly don't understand it, and they're only likely to get worse from here on out.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: September 16, 2025, 09:25:48 PM
Honestly, Silva is good. However, he over commits way too much. Also, he spams spinning stuff way too much. Spinning back fists or elbows are suppose to be a surprise, not spammed predictably as they should inherently be unpredictable.

Yup, Lopes executed his spinning elbow perfectly and that gave him the win. I think Silva deliberately tries to be as entertaining as possible rather than focusing entirely on winning. It's not necessarily a bad strategy for his career. I'm sure the UFC appreciates it.

I wonder what's next for Lopes. I think we will see Volkanovski Vs Evloev next, and Lopes will probably have to win one more time against someone ranked below him before getting another shot at the title.

I agree, Silva could have won if he had taken the fight to a scorecard. All his strikes landed, and Lopes barely responded. So, if it had been taken to a scorecard, it would have been a different fight. Lopes should win the next fight too, but I think he'll come out better and take fewer hits. Silva has shown the way, now his next opponent should follow suit.
