1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 6 Reasons why IEO is better than ICO on: July 02, 2019, 06:46:19 PM
I was very much interested in investing to such IEO. Thus, made me the urged to browse the internet and found some compelling informations. I found it very informative for some members here like me who are disoriented between IEO and ICO.

IEO is different to IEO. It generally depends on what exchange make IEO. You can read about Yobit IEO and get a lot of lulz
I think both of these investment methods are risky and each investor should know about it
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best Bang For Buck GPU Mining Rig Build Guide 2019 - Mine Zcoin, Ethereum + more on: July 02, 2019, 03:03:57 PM
Previously I bought 120mm Scythe Kaze Jyuni Slip Stream (1900rpm) (25mm width) And most of them have broken after year or two. Several are still working.
Now I use Delta AFB 1212ME (38 mm). Delta has better static pressure. I use the "rule" one GPU - one additional fan.
I also thinking about the replacing of all 120mm PC fans to 300mm fan (It looks even cheaper and seems gives much better cooling) but it needs serious rebuilding of my GPU-rig case

What case fans do you use? They are 38mm width Scythe model but which exactly they are?
How often do you clean them and how long they work in your farm? I used 25mm Scythe fans with double ball bearing but I have to change a half of them after 1.5 year. Now I use Delta fans of 38mm width and they looks better for me
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make money on cryptocurrency in 2019 on: July 02, 2019, 06:18:06 AM
Trading is one of the most profitable of course, but it involves a lot of risk. Market trend is not too important for trading. It is possible to trade successfully on bullish trend or bearish trend.

And how to estimate what trend direction now? Bullish or bearish? Is current situation a correction or trend reversal?
Trading could be most profitable if it would be not so hard. In fact at the market not most of traders earn money
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make money on cryptocurrency in 2019 on: July 01, 2019, 03:48:06 PM
Not only bounties and trading allow to make money now. Mining is also becoming profitable again)
Comparing the beginning of 2019 and current situation mining gives two times more. For example in Jan-Feb you could earn 1$ from your miner and now in Jun-Jul you can earn 2$ from the same miner
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is there a GPU that allows various crypto mining starting with ETH? on: July 01, 2019, 01:09:57 PM
I would recommed GTX1070 with tri-slot cooler (models like Gigabyte Extreme Gaming or Palit JS-SJS-GR-GRP). Even during hot summer this cooler can provide enough cold temeparature
Also GTX1070 is quite cheap but still has good mining potential on various algos
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Buying P106 mining cards and driver compatibility on: June 30, 2019, 10:29:26 PM
Recently some P106 mining cards have gone up for sale locally for only $55 (sale!).

I'm thinking of buying a few pieces but my concern is will they work with newer NVIDIA drivers? Specifically NVIDIA driver versions 400+?
If i remember correctly the P106 mining drivers were only using NVIDIA driver version 380-391.

Can't find any answers from google but does anyone have any experience making these work (specifically adjusting clock/power settings with newer drivers)?
I don't want to downgrade drivers because i'm also mining with some new RTX 2060s and likely these need the new NVIDIA drivers.

P106 GPUs are based on GeForce architecture. So you can run them with RTX cards with no issues with newest drivers.
The compatibility problem with Nvidia GPUs now is only problem that you can't run GeForce and Quadro\Tesla cards at the same machine (But about a year ago it was possible)
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: how many gpu can i use on asus z370 h on: June 30, 2019, 09:23:37 PM
a maximum of 6 graphics cards can be installed on this motherboard. through risers 3 pieces and directly through pci-e. motherboard is good

This MB also has 2 M.2 slots with PCI-e bus. So you can run 8 GPUs with this MB with proper BIOS settings.
I've an experience of running 8 GPUs on Asus z270 a pro when 7 GPUs connected to PCI-e slots and the rest 8th is connected via M.2-PCI-e adapter. And it already works for years)
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Number 9! Ninth altcoin thread. Back to the moon Baby! on: June 28, 2019, 04:36:08 AM

Started my GPU farms like the above in 2016 and never looked back - ease of maintenance is the key.

Dust is the only pitfall though - I gave up on this long time ago and most of my 470/480 rigs still running at peak non-stop eventhough they are bloody dusty and grimy.

Well ..... as long as critical parts still works fine like fans for PSU, GPU and CPU - will just leave them alone. All of them are well ROIed several times over, so just leave them alone.

I protected my rig with simple strainer mounted by aluminum tape. It's very cheap and really protect from dust and pollen. Just need to cleaning up them by vacuum cleaner once per week or two
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Newer AMD AND NVIDIA cards vs. GTX1080 on: June 26, 2019, 05:36:04 PM
I think now one of the best choise is GTX1070. It can bought just for 250$ and still have good performance\power consumption ratio. Until mining software don't use tensor cores of RTX GPUs with good hashrate improvement Pascal GPUs are better
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: would you invest in IEO instead of ICO projects? on: June 24, 2019, 07:32:02 PM
I think it's not matter how the project collect funds IEO or ICO. Much more important the idea, team and promotion of the project. Also IEO is comparatively new method against of ICO and the main reason of choosing IEO is which exchange provides IEO
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready to invest now? on: June 24, 2019, 07:01:39 PM
If you want to buy the Btc, you should do it now, or wait for a small correction. Btc has been growing continuously for several months in a row. Many analysts now predict the growth of Btc to 15 thousand. I am sure that this is not the limit. Many altcoins from top 100 are also attractive to buy, because the price on them fell a little.
If I had the free funds to invest now, i would invest.

Buying BTC now oon so overbuy market I think is not the best idea. Maybe altcoins is better. ETH or LTC still have good growth potential vs. BTC
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lets be careful on what we are investing on: June 23, 2019, 05:33:34 PM
Risk is presented in anhy type of investment. And it doesn't matter what you buy S&P futures or unknown s-tcoin. Just risk value is different. And each investor should ready to loss the investments
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All you can do is hold your ALTs for a few years on: June 23, 2019, 05:29:22 PM
If you haven't already sold your ALTs simply hold if your project is decent. If the project has no future sell and buy into a decent project. This is all you can do to recover your loss without putting in more money. It will probably take a couple of years to recover your loss!

Some ALTs will never recover from this crash!

It is an ugly situation!

Who hold altcoins from Dec'2018 already in good profit. But in USD Bitcoin price of most important alts is far from the peak so holding them now is still good strategy. Maybe next few month will be altcoins month
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can BNB beat Ethereum? on: June 22, 2019, 09:18:56 PM
I think BNB can't beat ETH even BNB will realize all ETH features. Just because ETH is the first. It is the first smart-contract platform and nothing can't change it. Look at BTC. There are tons of forks but no one could beat BTC
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: hardware wallets safe? on: June 22, 2019, 09:03:30 PM
Hardware wallet is safe but not absolutely. Paper offline wallet is safer. But the strongest level of security can give only brain wallet
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Less price = more profit? on: June 21, 2019, 05:00:35 PM
I think it's not correct that less price = more profit. Both of them are absolute values. But for each trader the most important is relatively growth of the deposit.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sell All Altcoins For Bitcoin? on: June 20, 2019, 08:00:42 PM
Well I will sell my altcoins only after their growth to BTC not earlier. Selling alts now is not a good idea. Usually alts growth after BTC reach the maximum
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you selling your altcoins so soon? on: June 20, 2019, 07:49:04 PM

And what to do if we start to move away from the goal, as is happening now. Bitcoin continues to grow, and the Altcons continue to fall.

I think smarter to fix profit when a coin reach previously defined goal of BTC\USD price. It will not give a maximum profit but it will give more reliable profit
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you selling your altcoins so soon? on: June 20, 2019, 04:31:20 PM
In fact that it is better to define goal desired price (the price that you would like to sell for) of the altcoin before buying it. In that case there is no words about sooner or later you sell just wait of reach the goal
