1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Introducing Feathercoin2, a feathercoin fork! With windows binaries! on: May 14, 2013, 11:04:11 PM
Sorry but is the only point of this that's it's possible to launch something with windows binaries ?
One of many points.

Hey man I gotta say Good Job here! That Elacoin fiasco had me weary of you but this release has gone very smoothly and all of us windows slaves really appreciate you considering us in your release unlike so many cryptocoins in the past.

You make a great point and good luck!

+1

Getting paid...great work!
3  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: List of motherboard that require shorting pin A1 B17 for pci-e 1x to work. on: May 13, 2013, 12:44:24 PM
I shorted A1-B17 on the 16x slots for 16x-1x riser on the ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z mobo successfully.  Thanks to the OP for the original article.
4  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can large GPU systems be profitable with Litecoins? on: May 03, 2013, 09:41:52 PM
If it's not profitable with Litecoins it can be profitable on other coins using scrypt, like FTC or CNC.  I've let 2 1.2Mh/s rigs mine FTC over the last one week, exchanged them for LTC, and it easily outpaced what I could have mined on LTC.

Well done and simple!  I like the multiple exchange listings.  This will supplement my Android push notification app nicely.

I have two 60GH/s singles on preorder.  It doesn't matter much to me when they get here because it's not for making money (unless I take some coin out during another bubble), but it's for developing the currency that I think will be viable in the 21st century.  Mining is an interesting hobby for a programmer like myself, so that's worth it to me.  For all those people who are buying ebay preorders thinking they're going to get rich quick, it's a fool's errand.

If you look closely to the price to volume relationship and the market depth charts that relate to them, It looks more like someone intentionally manipulated the market into a panic and is now making a grab for all the coins they can get from the sale they made to cause the panic in the first place. Probably not a single someone obviously, but more likely a group of speculators who knew how to panic the people currently in bitcoin without their experience. Once they have the bitcoins they are after I bet they will start manipulating the market using the depth charts again to milk it back up.

Agreed, they will use their influence of coin in the same way Soros and Buffett uses their billions to manipulate real-world markets.  See the breaking of the bank of England back in 1992.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: Best LTC pool? on: April 12, 2013, 05:26:30 PM
wemineltc.com is the best LTC pool.  You cannot go wrong if you want to support operators who give backend support the number one priority.  They have a slick front-end website as well and the rules for reward are perfect for the loyal miner.  I'm very impressed with this new, but deserving, pool.  I've test mined on it for 24 hours now (after notroll.in decided to steal customer's coin) and it's great because I get very very few rejects.  They've earned a loyal miner for my 2x7950,2x7970.
9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Will the bubble burst? on: April 12, 2013, 05:20:56 PM
Just wait until Spain and Italy go the way of Cyprus, there will continue to be more bubbles and bursts.  There are people who will actually need to send their money out of their country without their government knowing it.

Howdy y'all.  I'm not new to the bitcoin scene but I am new to bitcoin mining.  So far I've browsed many topics on here, and finally decided to register.  1 rig is up and running for LTC, might be putting up another soon.
