1  Economy / Speculation / Re: [April iamnotback] Bitcoin will be $800 in one month! on: May 11, 2017, 04:50:01 PM
Yep I agree, original post pretty much reads as, "I got burned following somebody's commentary, now I've got nothing better to do than claim they had bad intentions".
Have I been burnt following some asshole? Yes.
Was it this idiot's? No.
Was it recently? No, years ago. Now I see past the bullshit and FUD.

I've already explained, you failed to read.

He's just sharing his thoughts.
This:

and hundreds of other (copy paste) posts is not called "sharing his thoughts" it is exactly what I explained and you failed to read.

2  Economy / Speculation / Re: [April iamnotback] Bitcoin will be $800 in one month! on: May 11, 2017, 03:29:35 PM
To be clear, this topic is not about someone making 1 wrong speculation, obviously nobody can predict the future and there are a lot of unpredictable things that can happen. Although he wasn't wrong once, and certainly wasn't right a lot. He kept changing direction based on whichever he wished the market to go.

This was his plan, (like many others) he thought if bitcoin goes down then ETH and LTC which he obviously had invested in, heavily I should add, will go up so he started his campaign against bitcoin.

If you could find his deleted post history from April 11 and 12 you can exactly see what I mean when I say "changing directions". It was ETH up, I sold LTC went in ETH, an hour later delete and I sold ETH entered LTC, an hour later delete and repeat.

I don't believe that everyone who is speculating, giving advises on social media is trying to confuse or purposely mislead you.

There may be someone out there who is giving advice out of the kindness of his heart but when money is involved, it is a dog eat dog world my friend.
3  Economy / Speculation / [April iamnotback] Bitcoin will be $800 in one month! on: May 11, 2017, 09:24:49 AM
TLDR: People giving advice on social media regarding your investment are not concerned about you, but how they can fill their own pockets more while using you. Stop listening to them.

This acts as a warning to all who read posts after posts of bullshit on social media full of FUD and false analysis. Specially from those who keep making new alt accounts to support their own bullshit and pretend it is real users calling them good speculators.
Expect to see at least some of them in this topic.

This guy that I chose as my first PoB™ mark is the worse case scenario of all the bullshit you will ever see. But there are a lot more of these around. Literary everywhere.

Sell all crypto-currency to fiat IMMEDIATELY. BTC will dive -30%. Altcoins will decline even more. SegWit and scaling has been defeated on both Bitcoin and also Litecoin. Also there are macroeconomics things going on which will also hit gold and every asset except USD. Store your money in USD or altcoin USDT
The price should peak again at approximately $1208 (Bitstamp) in 3 days and 6 hours from now. After that up to a day of diminishing pattern clustered in tight range around that price, then after that should begin the precipitous decline similar to last month.

And here are some numbers based on the date:
Highest price of bitfinex in April: $1244.7 ---(-30%)---> $871.29
Current price: $1214

Highest price of Bitstamp in April: $1229 ---(-30%)--> $860.30
Current price: $1188

One month after and Current prices are:
Bitfinex $1889
Bitstamp $1855

I repeat again that this is not about speculating, this is about giving a warning to all possible new members who may want to start trading, investing in this market.
Don't take what you read seriously and run away if you saw a lot of throwaway accounts are defending the person saying it.

He {iamnotback} has several accounts all banned for ban evasion. It seems that the underlying offense which caused him to initially get into trouble (and often the thing which causes his alts to get noticed) is excessive multi-posting.
4  Other / Meta / Re: Shelby Moore, aka Anonymint::TBTB_need_war::iamnotback banned, do you agree? on: May 05, 2017, 06:41:43 AM
Whether you agree with it or not, doesn't matter. Even if you vote no 1000 times on this poll with 1000 accounts it still doesn't matter.

He has several accounts all banned for ban evasion. It seems that the underlying offense which caused him to initially get into trouble (and often the thing which causes his alts to get noticed) is excessive multi-posting. But when he was warned and/or temporarily banned for this minor thing, he kept evading his bans. This forum cannot operate unless its few rules are followed, so ignoring the warnings and temporary bans that you receive and continuing to do the same stuff is unacceptable. People who do so are not welcome here.

His bans will not automatically expire, and any future alts we see from him will be permabanned. I may manually reconsider his ban if he promises to actually try not to break forum rules. The rules are not meant to silence anyone, but to keep the forum usable and fair. When someone multi-posts excessively, it monopolizes a thread in a way which harms everyone else's ability to communicate. Based on his posts in this thread, I think that he will just continue to break rules if unbanned, so I will not unban him at this time.

bitcointalk.org is not a normal for-profit company. Even if banning iamnotback somehow stopped all future ad revenue, he would still be banned, since his rule-breaking is disrupting the forum's mission of hosting free discussion of Bitcoin and related topics. (As explained above, "free discussion" is not "unmoderated discussion".) Similarly, I would welcome effective competition from decentralized forums, and I would be thrilled to be able to shut down bitcointalk.org in favor of a better-in-all-ways decentralized alternative. But although decentralized forums have existed for a long time (eg. Freenet's FMS is almost exactly what iamnotback keeps describing, and has existed since before Bitcoin), they have unfortunately not been widely used since the era of the semi-decentralized Usenet system, mainly due to vastly inferior usability.

I refuse to follow inane rules made by unorganized fools.

And when you refuse to follow the rules you and your alts will be banned from this forum.
And no matter how many alts you have to support you, real users still don't want you and your FUD in this forum.

@mprep
Why are you even wasting your time on this person. He doesn't have a life! This pointless argument can go on forever and just wastes your precious time.
It will be great when we have the decentralized forum and I can simply click delete and your useless noise disappears for me and my important and valued followers.
Your riff-raff useless cohorts will be inundated with all your noisy useless postings.

You are too dumb to even begin to understand how you are contradicting yourself and what you have been saying for days now Grin

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can we cancel an order in poloneix and do not get to pay fee on: May 01, 2017, 03:36:16 PM
No you pay the fees after your order is filled. When you place it, that is just a place you take up in the queue and for that you never pay anything.

Ah shit, I am a newbie still... I guess you have to click or quote this to laugh...
10  Other / Meta / Re: Where are you 'Iamnotback'? on: May 01, 2017, 05:12:59 AM
No. He will never return to this forum.
Wow, this is such a good news. I am so happy.
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: Speculation Rule: buy when others are irrationally pessimistic or too cautious on: April 23, 2017, 04:44:14 PM
Note we are back up to the 0.0120 level and I suggest selling. We appear to be in a more major correction. The bottom probably 0.0095 or 0.0103, but I haven't yet completed my analysis of this pullback. I originally thought 0.0118 to 0.012 with a very slight possibility of a smaller pattern bottom at 0.0124. But now the odds of this being a larger pattern correction are increasing. Be bearish for the time being.

It is also possible that we've bottomed at 0.0115, but the current bounce up will likely have to come back to at least 0.0115 again eventually. This is all within the larger move up of LTC to much higher levels eventually.
Iamnotblack 2.0 reloaded

In times like this, it becomes easy to detect all the alts of him (maybe some of the mods were interested in this, for a serious case of ban evasion Wink):
iamnotback
BitNet (official) obviously
btcbug : Same posting style and always praising him!
RAJSALLIN : Possible alt, doesn't need much explanation if you look at the post history!
And last but not least, I think we all know about traincarswreck the classic case of one person arguing with himself on a public forum with two different names!

Since he loves quoting himself over and over let me quote some of his stuff too:

Here are some numbers that the great oracle iamnotback should have mentioned:
Highest price of bitfinex in April: $1244.7 ---(-30%)---> $871.29
Current price: $1214

Highest price of Bitstamp in April: $1229 ---(-30%)--> $860.30
Current price: $1188

Still disappointed since you've given us no timeframe.

and current prices are:
Bitfinex price doesn't matter at this point ($1351)
Bitstamp: $1242

USDT price is ... wait for it.... $0.92

p.s It is worth mentioning that the -30% prediction was posted at least 14 times in different topics all over the forum:

Sell all crypto-currency to fiat IMMEDIATELY. BTC will dive -30%. Altcoins will decline even more. SegWit and scaling has been defeated on both Bitcoin and (at least near-term) also Litecoin. Also there are macroeconomics things going on which will also hit gold and every asset except USD. Store your money in USD or altcoin USDT (dollar peg) temporarily until this dip has concluded

hmm.
Current bitcoin price is $1175 on average today (April 15).
-30% dive means price going down to $822.5

now we wait...

It would have been interesting if you added some timeframe to this speculation. For example is the dive going to happen in next day, a week, a month, 2, a year, in 10 years from now?

The ~30% decline would be from the peak price of BTC in April, if it happens.

Highest price of bitfinex in April: $1244.7 ---(-30%)---> $871.29
Current price: $1214

Highest price of Bitstamp in April: $1229 ---(-30%)--> $860.30
Current price: $1188

Still disappointed since you've given us no timeframe.

Are you so sure about this -30% dive that is gonna happen, in your previous value the price is $1175, and as of now the price has slightly increase and now become $1182.69 I suppose if not the next day or two, but bitcoin keeps on moving forward and increasing it's value and if we speculated something like that are we so sure it's gonna happen? but well it is just a speculation that is why we are here!

Unless by "you" you mean iamnotback, I have to ask you to read again. Because I am not the one making this speculation.
