1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I Think YFFIC token will be the token of the year 2020! on: September 24, 2020, 11:06:50 AM
There are so many newbie accounts currently promoting scam projects, as well as the YFFIC token mentioned in the opening post.
It is impossible for YFFIC token to be the token of the year 2020. If we see the YFFIC token website is very bad and also twitter and
telegram are not active. This convinced me that these projects are scams and we should avoid investing in projects like this.

And it's really funny to see this newbie accounts trying so hard to convince members of the forum about a Defi project they think will be big when they don't even understand the project in question nor believe it, I wonder what gave the op the impression this is the token of the year! Lmao.

It's funny to me as well, to see how they shill some projects and promise miracles for people who invest now. Big promises raise
a red flag in my head, I don't know who can fall on this type on scam any more! People are better informed than before, and here on
forum people are better aware of scammers schemes than on other places, we talk a lot about that, and it's a good thing.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ripple ever reach $5 ? on: September 24, 2020, 10:09:07 AM

In the past we have seen many similar headlines, Ripple makes new partnerships with this or that bank, but that didn't affect the price,
and that didn't stop the sell off! I am not sure in what to believe when it comes to Ripple and their big news, somehow I don't trust them,
many times the same thing happened and I didn't see that Ripple and Ripple holders had some benefits from all that. Do you think that this
time it will be different?
3  Economy / Speculation / Re: $1 Billion in Bitcoin Options Expire Friday. on: September 24, 2020, 06:51:01 AM
It's funny beause at first it seems that it could have an impact on bitcoin price but then it says it could make the price go up, or down or " could also have very little impact at all".

LOL

So, we have no idea where bitcoin price it's going to go, at least in the short-term.

Poker Player you are right, we have no idea where the Bitcoin price is heading, and after reading this article I think the author don't
know the answer on this question either. Nobody knows what we can expect because this is all new for many of us, we had many
similar situation in the past, when we face with something new, and while some are positive others are very negative, and have moments
when people say exactly that, it could go up or down, or to stay where it is, that's funny! Like anything can happen, or nothing! In
crypto-market we got used to that.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Rise of DeFi — A Temporary Threat to Major Coins? on: September 23, 2020, 07:27:05 PM
For me it doesn't matter, let DeFi be entertainment in times of the gloomy market. DeFi is giving it a new color and I don't think it will take longer, as junk projects will quickly disappear. Enjoy this hype and it will all come back to the major coins

I agree with you Cepot9, for me it doesn't matter as well. I think this around DeFi is just temporary hype, in crypto-market we have
seen these kind of hypes before and it always ends in the same way, many will just disappear, they are made to scam people and time
will tell will we have the same situation again, I am sure we will. Today we saw a drop in DeFi market cap, and I think people should be
prepared for worst when it comes to DeFi-market.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin dont pay our billls we need passive income on: September 23, 2020, 04:46:52 PM
I don't know what is the connection between pay bill and passive income. Actually your question isn't clear enough. Bitcoin isn't available in every country till now. But in future, we can expect bill pay services.

He is mention of taxes for which we need to pay for the trading of cryptocurrencies. We are getting profit from the cryptocurrencies trading,it's fair enough to pay of bills. If the bitcoin became a legal currencies ,we can also pay our bill with the bitcoin.

I understand that OP wants free money from the government. Money that he can use for paying bills and taxes, and the money
he earns will stay in his pocket! There's no connection between paying bills and passive incomes, except when you use the money
you got and you use that money for paying bills.
Bitcoin is not legal in all countries, but I think now you can sell Bitcoin for any fiat-currency you want and you can use that fiat-
currency for paying bills. It's the same thing, just a bit more complicated.
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading group on: September 23, 2020, 02:46:17 PM
I haven't try any yet joining some of the trading groups because I don't get comfortable it gives more pressure to me. Recently someone invites to my telegram its an unknown local groups and they are stating about

"Invest here"
"Invest to this coin "
"Buy now"
"Sell now"

This is not a good thing they are saying but I leave on this immediately because one of the best source of mine is the forum because this is more knowledgeable members they are one of the eldest  you can trust but you need to have a good information to identify it this is real.

Serious475 I get a couple messages on Telegram every day! And most of them are about investments and trading signals, others
are people who beg for money because they have a huge problem, usually health problems!
I think who wish to trade will learn by reading all the stuff that can be found on internet and applying them in trading. It takes time
and energy, it will take some money for the learning process, but it's the best way to learn how to trust your own instincts.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do think about skill games? on: September 23, 2020, 12:16:09 PM
Poker and Blackjack is the only games i know that requires skills, the rest is you need huge bankroll in order to yield some profit. Because slots and dice are all based in chance and probability. You may encounter lose streak especially when you increment your based odds per bet.
Sports betting can be also considered especially when it requires knowledge and research.

I think betting on sports can be counted as skill based gambling, because you need to know many things in order to be
profitable in long-term. In my opinion betting on sports require more skills than playing Black Jack, but it's just my opinion.
For every game you need some skills, and I think skilled people have more chances to win when they play. Who plays
without any knowledge about the game he will lose all!
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Importance of social media channels on: September 23, 2020, 09:47:17 AM
This is indeed a severe mistake to make when you have invested in a project. In order not to miss out and forfeit your holding, you have to follow up a project on social media to remain updated, especially crypto projects. I'm happy to have discovered a valuable project $BLZ (https://bluzelle.com) on social media and always keep up on their several works.
It is best to make positive use of the social media!

I try to be up to date with the information's about crypto-currencies. The power of social media's is greater than that, except about
crypto-currencies, today you can't be fully informed if you don't have good followers base, in the sphere you are interested in, but here
we can focus on crypto-currency only.  I follow many good developers, projects that I invested in, and all of them can provide necessary
info for all of us, that can change the course of the project, new announcements and everything else.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BEWARE OF FAKE GIVEAWAYS IN DISGUISE AS UNISWAP on: September 23, 2020, 06:53:18 AM
Anyone who message you for money and tryint to convinced you to give out some cash is probably a scam. There are too many impersonators especially on telegram, will disguise as someone like an admin and pm you if you got spotted asking about contributions or anything related or involved with money.

It's not a giveaway if they ask for money! Scammers ask you to send some money in return they will give you more, they
say to unlock the funds. It's a scam, and I am not sure how they trick people into sending them money. It's just one trick that
scammers use, but there are other tricks too. Scammers are getting better, and they have better masks, nowadays people should
be extra careful with money, with whom they talk on the internet, and above all when they send money to make sure they double
checked everything.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm dumping my coins because.. on: September 22, 2020, 08:15:16 PM
I’m not a strong holder but I only dump my coins for a reasonable price, most especially if its newly launched on exchanges while the hype is still there. I used to join a lot of bounty before but now I’m only picking projects with potential or maybe a few, because we all know its a waste time if we joined a lot and longer campaigns but later on the rewards is only worth a penny and it’s so frustrating.

Ecnalubma I think most of us are doing the same thing with new coins and tokens we earn trough different bounties. I sell them
for Bitcoin or Ethereum mostly, but sometimes I exchange them for some other coin I would like to have more. It's normal I think,
each of us has portfolio with desired coins and tokens, and we are free to believe in the choices we make!
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Food prices doubled this year on: September 22, 2020, 07:02:10 PM
Prices are supposed to increased due to no production at all for months but not for every product we buy it means they are getting oversold or our money value is getting lesser a lot since the pandemic hit us because government is printing more money to tackle the condition as short term solution.

Findingnemo I am not sure I understand you here, but we spend more money on food every year! In my +40 years I can say
that many prices went up, and in the future I think we will more increase of the prices. It's what happening for decades and trend
will continue. We can blame the pandemic for this year, but whom to blame for all the decades before this year that led to this year?
I think we need a fast solution or this world will face with huge food problems! Problems with supply of quality food, and problems
with people who will not be able to afford food because of the high price.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 100% guaranteed no loosing sport betting method on: September 22, 2020, 05:27:29 PM
I tried some experiment in the past on where I do tend to bet out on other sports which I haven't known or does have completely no knowledge about it.

I just simply stick out to the favorites and bang I do able to make profits even on low odds.Yes, it might be a dumb step but with those simple logic or presumption on sticking
with favorites do still work but not all the time.

You would need to look for the odds first if its really worth on the risk or not.

And can you give us the results of your experiment with betting just on favourites and low odds? I would like to see your results,
and if you have some conclusions I would like to hear about that too.
I had couple tries with betting on favourites, but just couple of tries and in longer period of time. But I often think about betting
just on favourites, mostly 2 or 3 matches. I am not sure how would that go, it's why I like to hear more about your experiment.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Hotbit exchange is legit. on: September 22, 2020, 10:37:57 AM

I have read a lot of objections about HOTBIT Exchange here ... Personally I have been using it for 6 weeks and apart from tading I have already made deposits and withdrawals there several times. Except for 1 case (when it turned out that there is a problem with withdrawals of NYZO coins, which was officially announced and deposits and withdrawals were temporarily suspended), over a dozen withdrawals and deposits went completely smoothly and quickly so personally I have no objections to this exchange and I would not call it SCAM ...

Thanks for the objective review, I appreciate that, as well as others I am sure. The reason I am interested in registering on
Hotbit is that one of the coins I have from bounty I participated in will be listed on Hotbit next month. I did my research
as you, and I saw many things about Hotbit as well, but your personal experience worth more than that. I will try Hotbit and
I hope I will have positive experience as you had!
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 22 Bitcoin interesting facts on: September 22, 2020, 09:27:17 AM
Interesting facts and some funny facts about Bitcoin. Some of these facts should be known to all, like the one not your keys not
your coins! From some facts like this one is, it's on what your money safety depends on. Learning this can save people from making
basic mistakes, for further knowledge you will have to learn a lot more, but for basic users this is enough for the beginning.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 10 alts under $0.10 that can go 100x on: September 21, 2020, 08:34:04 PM
for me TRX is still a coin that still has great potential to go to $ 0.1 more,
because TRX is still undervalued, when compared to Ethereum and Ripple, TRX ROI might be worth it in the future,
don't waste the opportunity now
I use to to be a big believer in TRX but Justin Sun seems to always be getting involved with shady things.
And TRX is down 45% just in this month alone, oh well I will continue to hodl.

I will continue to hold as you Mich, this price dump doesn't concern me. Tron is growing, and like every other good project
it has good and bad moments. If they continue to work like they are working for years now, they will be big one day! Many
projects are created, and Tron has a big community already, I believe it will get bigger. Ethereum high fees helps them in that,
in recent month some applications I use went from Etheruem to Tron chain, and Huobi will be on Tron chain. Positive things happens
for Tron, I don't watch just price, I watch the team and community!
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coins that would make a good short term #HODL on: September 21, 2020, 07:48:14 PM
many coins that can be made for short term investment usually lies in a new coin and is still developing, You can see that TWT is an effective short-term coin that can increase many times over or you can choose defi coins that have good prospects like UNI

GWS My Boy you are right, many coins can be used for short-term gains. If someone buys at good moment in short-term he can make
profit with top-coins, but that good is individual, each of us have different goals. I don't like short-term investments, I try to invest in
what I believe in for the long-term, invest in technology, don't invest in short-term gains, it's one of the rules I follow.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherum Fees Double In a Week As DeFi Heats Up on: September 21, 2020, 06:41:33 PM
I believe it is not going to be as tough as people claim to be. Bitcoin has around 7-10 dollar fee right now and nobody cares about it, whereas ETh has around 2 dollars right now and people act like it is end of the world. If bitcoin can reach to 10k with 10 dollar price, that means ethereum could at least be 2 thousand dollars with 2 dollar fee as well, there is no need to make an overreaction.

We would want both bitcoin and ethereum fee's to be lower, who would be fine with paying such huge fees, considering there are people who use it from third world countries where 2 dollars is literally a meal price, it is understandable to want it lower. However wanting it lower and not using it for the price are different and I doubt anyone is leaving because it is 2 dollars.

This is not the first time for Bitcoin to have high fees. In 2017 we had higher fees for Bitcoin transactions. This time it's the first
time for Ethereum to have so high fees, people are not get used to it like with Bitcoin. I hope they will work something out very
soon, too high fees are good just for whales, for us who think in lower amounts these fees are too high.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 100% guaranteed no loosing sport betting method on: September 21, 2020, 05:27:23 PM
There should be more to what you have posted here because if you are confident with your method then I doubt if you will waste your time in posting this thread here because you can just use that method anytime you want and earn the money that you like to get.

Most of those people who have successful method won't share it to anyone especially if it can ruin the method when there will be many that are going to use it or the platform owner where the method works will do something to counter their successful method that is why most of the genuine method are in silent mode or they are hiding it to themselves.

But there's no 100% winning method! Successful people in sport betting have high successful rate, but there's no 100% in
gambling! We see this kind of headlines often, in most cases it's a scheme that will try to suck out your money. You will have
to pay for method that will work for some time, if you are lucky, if not you will lose money paying for method and you will lose
money with trying that method.
19  Economy / Speculation / Re: sell now or you WILL regret it on: September 21, 2020, 11:14:37 AM
You said sell now or you WILL regret it? Then it could also be Sell now and you will regret it.
I'm not saying that bitcoin will achieved a new ATH this time, but I do think that it can, or maybe it can reach 12k again, Last time, it sits a lot of weeks in 10-11k and went up later on. I might use that as another hope for holding some of it.

I'm not holding it for a long time though, if some signs says that it might fall later on, then I'll be considering selling it before that happens.

It's not the first thread about the collapse of the crypto-market. OP didn't try to be more specific does he mean about some crypto-
currencies, or he thinks about the entire crypto-market. Except that, he didn't provide any arguments for his claims, and that is something
we see in all similar topics. I don't give these topics any credit, I am buying and these topics just make me more convinced that I am doing the right thing with my investments in crypto-currencies.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Dice Games and Yolodice . Best strategy?? on: September 20, 2020, 08:36:13 PM
Even that 10% chance of losing is still risky since you said that you bet half of your stash so if a certain bet or roll that you made and that bet is one of the bad bets in that 10% chance of losing then you'll lose that amount and your profit will decrease of course. 1/2 stash is still high in my opinion and it's much better if you bet 1/4 or 1/8 if your capital is high.

Some people just like to bet with high risk. I agree that 10% is still rather high but for some it's acceptable. Some think if they risk big they might win big, so estimstion is individual and for some high risk makes more adrenaline and more satisfaction in playing.

Bitbunny you are right, it all depends on individuals! While some people are willing to accept some level of risk, others are not.
Level of risk can be different, and different people will act differently. In this specific case I would not be comfortable risking
1/2 of my bankroll on any risk level! I would choose much less bet, on any odd! It means I would try x1.1 or x11, but I would
adjust my bet to my bankroll! Gambling is not all about luck, there's some strategy as well!
