I'm limited on time @ the moment & was wondering if you could accelerate an unconfirmed xfer from Blockchain? I forgot to select priority unfortunately & its been far too long & from the looks of it, it seems I'll be waiting much longer unless I can get some assistance. I'd greatly appreciate any help in this matter. My mom is very sick & I need this to go thru for medical reasons asap.

I think this is the transaction id..17c8f86e59689f83f9c835a82b3a9a3736461a8c689a2b4f6f99b4b8687cde32

Will send donation if successful - many thanks  Smiley
Can you kindly accelerate the following two transactions? One of them has been sitting for more than a day. I was trying to move btc from blockchain.com to bitpay. Thanks in advance!

You've ordered the TXIDs around the wrong way...

The first transaction is this one: 56bdf3da128c81602cafb07ed100a55648ab2b67399ee10509e5645bb073e62e
The second transaction is this one: d8063ef9e0affce8233fb914c14961d909a89790efe65c00c40f6bddd76c9e52

Both are unconfirmed. The reason you got the "transaction input unconfirmed" message is that the 2nd transaction (d8063...) is spending the (unconfirmed) UTXO from the 1st transaction. To be able to use the accelerator, you would need to submit the first transaction (56bdf...) and get that confirmed and then you would be able to submit the 2nd transaction.

The "submissions beyond limit" message simply means that it has already queued 100 transactions for that hour... given the state of the network with the big "pump and dump" that occurred the last 24 hours, the accelerator has been getting slammed... if you don't submit in the first half second of a new hour... you're going to get that error message Tongue

Thanks HCP. I made the two transactions separately from blockchain.com and made sure that for the second transaction I had enough bitcoins for the transferred amount as well as the fee. I don't understand why I would be spending the UXTO from the first transaction.

Yes. Both were from the same wallet and address (blockchain.info). The first one appeared in the other wallet (bitpay) as an unconfirmed transaction, while the second one does not appear in the destination wallet (bitpay) at all.

Thanks for you suggestions! Tried it just now but no more free request could be added. Will try the next hour.

I’ll do it for you in 5 minutes. They only allow 100 per hour.

Edit - The first one said transaction input unconfirmed
The second one I was too slow, submissions are beyond limit. Try later

Just wait for the mempool to clear up a bit, it’s majorly overloaded at the moment due to the high volatility in the price & lots of people trading.

Thank you for your kindness! I got the transaction unconfirmed message too. What does it mean?

Was able to accelerate one transaction but didn't seem to have made any difference...HCP's theory makes sense...

I like your approach. You are a very scientific person Smiley
I wanted to post this in a more appropriate place but I don't have the forum cred to do it yet.  Admin feel free to validate me and move it where it should go.
========

I should have probably done the proper math before ordering the miner.  But instead I did some quick calculator math and thought that I'd be able to mine a reasonable amount of coins with a 50GHs Butterfly Labs box.  So I placed my order.  THEN I did the full math.  Wow what a difference.

I just started a blog this week where me and a buddy or two will post our mining experiences.  I posted my first round of math there and all the info that backs up my conclusion.  Please check it out and give me your feedback here.

Thanks!  Looking forward to the discussion.

or it could cripple the currency and make way for a new competitor....

In that case, if not anything else, it will give those who are late to the bitcoin scene a head start in a new game  Cheesy

I am also getting  my mind around the ripple thing. If xrps are not mined as bitcoins are, how are they obtained?

Although I am new to the bitcoin scene, I wish bitcoin were not getting the kind of publicity it started to get recently. When speculators step in, it stops to be a level playground.

I followed the link in this post, liked the facebook page and left my wallet address and got my 300 xrp in about half an hour. Hope this helps.

This is part of the growing pains. Crashes like this will help it to be prepared for future problems.
