1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AMX] AMERO Latin American Common Currency [ASIC-resistant] [MASTERNODES] on: February 26, 2018, 03:36:39 PM
So I see this as a 100% full copy of Dash, only with modified words from Dash to Amero, which is really really poor, where can I see the team behind it? Or is it just 1 Dev that copied and pasted the code and was looking for a quick buck? Sorry if I am being like this, but the Amero website is really very incomplete with little to no information regarding the team or anything like it whatsoever. What innovation does Amero brings right now? Why would I choose Amero and not Dash, let alone any other crypto? Exactly where in Latin America is this currency originated, Argentina?

I can see you are the same team behind this failed ICO, care to comment any information on this? Can we at least see the non-finished whitepaper you said you would publish? You had 2 failed announcement currencies, what is different now? This really seems very sketchy, unless you can update us ASAP with more information, there are plenty of red flags here.

the question is very interesting than you are better than DASH

Can't stop laughing at this thread.
The entire BTT forum is full of unwary and incompetent "wannabe traders", who turn first into "faithful investors", then - "ideological holders" and in the end leave their money at someone's else hand. That is just marvelous for those able to drain fool wallets!
All these children that grab bags of some shitcoin on spikes, later come to BTT and don't stop asking:
- when polo
- where dev
- when pump
- when update
- why dump?HuhHuh

It is clear that Bytecoin is shady as possible, too many incompatible declarations that don't match. Donations to Indian temples, Bytecoin T-shirts, wallet releases,  - all this is pure bullshit, it does not add any objective value, neither drives demand up. Technical innovations, improvements of cryptography, increased transactions stability and development transparency - this is expected from you.

I want to wish Jenny Goldberg and Pundit whatever do their job at the highest level, make at least some hype around Bytecoin, spread some fancy bullshit, announce some planned new features, even if they won't happen. Do your job, for the sake of Bytecoin!

Make Bytecoin >67 sats again! Victor has to go out  Cool

Bytecoin Now Accepted In Indian Temples: Bytecoin Added As A Donation Method In The Indian Temples

http://cryptocoindaddy.com/bytecoin-now-accepted-in-indian-temples/

Can you name those temples?
The article is clearly a clickbait which says 'many' temples are accepting Bytecoin but doesn't name any. Also, no official announcement from the dev team. This is clearly wrong news.

https://coinreport.net/temples-india-increasingly-accepting-bytecoin-donations/#comment-165255

Temples in India are increasingly accepting bytecoin (BCN) as donation, according to a press release CoinReport received from bytecoin’s team, which received the news from BCN’s Indian community manager, Pundit Pawan Sharma.

The trend started with gurudwaras, which are places of worship in the Sikhism religion, in the cities of Delhi, Cochin, Madurai and Amritsar, says the release.

Temples are reportedly happy to accept bytecoin donations because cash usually sits idle with them, and being not-for-profit organizations, they are prohibited by the government to invest the donated funds. Bytecoin carries a liberation, as even if the temples save it in their wallets, they will see the price rise as others trade the digital currency on exchanges.

The biggest benefit that donors as well as the temples receive is no charge on the transaction. All that temples must do is generate a QR code for their wallet address and send it to their followers’ community using Facebook, Telegram, WhatsApp and other instant messaging apps. Community members share and spread the QR code with more followers.

Bytecoin is a digital currency where transactions are impossible to trace back. It enables very fast international remittances the world over, with the sender staying completely anonymous. “Gupt Daan” (Anonymous Donation) is already considered a supreme deed in the Hindu religion.

Hinduism is the main and majority religion of India, with over 79.8% of the population identifying themselves as Hindu, that accounts for roughly 966 million Hindus in India as of the official 2011 census report.

I would bet that the "Security algorithm enhancement" is the fix but I have not heard an official comment...

Yes, this issue has been fixed long time ago. Version 2.0.2 is secure and stable, as always. More info here:

Bytecoin v2.0.2 is available here: https://bytecoin.org/downloads/

I think this is enough to understand that he is developing

The question here is if bytecoin is actually developing well? If yes and everything is going as the roadmap, so is it important that we need to know what happened with the old dev? If there was the new team dev and they are working good, so is it better? I means we should care about what and how they are doing rather than who they are
totally agree with you, the most important thing that at the moment there are active development
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BCN] Bytecoin. Secure, private, untraceable since 2012 on: August 22, 2017, 02:00:22 PM
The Web Wallet release

Meet the first and the most important integration in the Bytecoin ecosystem.
Developers from the community in collaboration with the official Bytecoin team have released their First Bytecoin Web Wallet.

http://www.bytecoin.money

Fast transaction, user-friendly design, and no-synch process allow you to make the next step in BCN usability.

If the Web Wallet turns popular we will proceed with its further development.
Such features are in your hands: Integrate the changelly button that will allow you to buy your favorite coin directly from the wallet, top up mobile with one click, etc.

Now everything depends on you and your activity.

Develop wallet with your engagement.

Thank you, it's nice to see that the administration does not stand still

TL;DR

can anyone summarise briefly the story from the beginning?
I do not understand what is going on.
Much appreciated.
All is well, just a lot of haters who do not benefit so that the coin has risen

I think that everyone is already tired, the esteemed administration of BCN gives a clear answer to all that all these problems cease
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About BitCoen on: August 20, 2017, 02:23:11 PM
Interesting, I was just thinking of doing something similar last month. There are only about 11 million jewish people on the planet, but they have huge influence, look at all the nobel prize winners. There is a lot of money in the jewish community as well. It is good they are donating a percentage to charity. The community is tight and this coin has potential, especially since they are building their own blockchain.
Totally agree with you, but I would like to hear from other users their view of this coin
