1  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mt Gox account verification pending for 2 months now on: December 31, 2013, 09:34:19 AM
Thanks, I will transfer my bitcoins to another exchange because Mt Gox is crap. I live in Australia. Could I use Coinbase or do you have other suggestions for a fast and reliable exchange I can use.
2  Economy / Service Discussion / Mt Gox account verification pending for 2 months now on: December 31, 2013, 02:31:07 AM
Because I wanted to transfer money from Mt Gox for xmas, I started the verification process 2 months ago. So far it is still pending. I sent Mt Gox several emails about this but every time I get a standard response. They state that the verification process only takes 2 weeks but it is pending now for almost 2 months. I am very, very disappointed because I have quite a lot of money invested in Bitcoins and I wanted to buy a special present for xmas and now it looks like Mt Gox doesn't want to cooperate. How do I get in contact with Mt Gox without receiving a standard response? Who can I contact for legal advise against Mt Gox if they fail to reply?
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Mt Gox a scam? on: December 21, 2013, 07:30:20 AM
I sold some bitcoins recently on Mt Gox and I want to transfer the money to my bank account to buy some Xmas gifts. Because this is the first time I used Mt Gox, I sent them the required information to get verified about a month ago. When I log in, a confirmation is displayed saying that they received my request and it will take 10 days to verify my account. I sent them a few emails asking why it takes so long but I only get a standard reply. It looks like a scam and I am afraid I lost my money. Do you think that Mt Gox can be trusted?

I am looking into Ripple because the exchange rate looks more stabile than Bitcoin. I registered but how can I get Ripples? It seems that in order to buy Ripples you need at least a certain amount of Ripples but I don't have any Ripples because I just started out. There is a link in my Ripples wallet to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=145506  but I don't seem to be eligible for this.

I think you need to post in the beginner area 5 times and spend at least 4 hours on this forum to be eligible to post in other areas.

But you also need to be registered before last February...

Could you whitelist me please? I use bitcoins for a while now. I am now also very interested in Ripples and I would like to ask some questions relating to bitcoins and ripples.
Thanks!

Just another thought, can I transfer from my bitcoin wallet to my ripple wallet? Haven't tried it because first I want to wait till bitcoins go up a bit.
