We are seeing a lot of fraudulent activity and users “gaming” our reward system by registering fake profiles, programmatically completing tasks, and other means.  These kind of activities devalue Rally for those who use the platform properly and these actions are contrary to our User Terms and Conditions.  

While we know we will not catch every “bad actor”, we have implemented new protocols to limit this activity as best we can.

If our system detects fraudulent activity it will block a user’s external transfers, suspend the account, and send a notification to the user’s email address on how to reactivate the account.

Obviously if the user has registered a fake email account, they probably won’t receive this notification.  This will not be an issue any Admin will address, as we want to rid the Rally Platform of those users who devalue it for everyone else.

Steemit would indeed be an interesting comparison to Rally, since there is a reward system for content publishing, but linked to the appreciation of a reader.

That being said, the application is quite different in many ways because of it's referral system and actions related reward system.

Example: A brand can effectively use Rally app to interact with the user base in exchange of tokens which could then be used to purchase their items.
