Im buying VR set for Christmas and if been wondering if the Games esp FAllout 4 VR will be able to run on Blockchain driver , im sure there will be some issues with VR without proper graphioc drivers but i want to mine also , so If been thinking if i had 2x systems on separte SSDs i could have normal Gprahic drivers on 1 for gaming and on other SDD Blockchain drivers to mine would that work ?
I game on my vega pc with blockchain driver and it works fine. However i've mostly been playing CS, Wow, League, PUBG. No clue if i would get more FPS with an actual driver but probably yes. I cant tell the difference with a 60hz monitor anyway. Try Adrenaline Edition driver, just being released hours ago. It got switch between gaming and mining mode, but I'm not sure that Cast XMR can detect the change or not.

Hi, can someone report how much hashrate they get with respect to the hardware? e.g. Vega 64 = xxxH/s, RX570 = xxxH/s, etc.
Hope that can be a guide for newbie, thanks.

that is not that bad, which card is it again?? and what driver?
Blockchain driver, Sapphire Rx580 Nitro SE, they hold 1200/2250 with 850v on core and memory. I've already seen similar questions about null hashes, but I did not find an answer ... can I do something with this problem? it can be with 1 card or 2 or 3. With the same settings, alternative miners work stably but give 7-9% less I have it too, v0.7. It doesn't seem cause any problem apart that it spams into a console. Yeah, it keeps spamming the console even though the statistics show that the GPU still running... ... Error CL_MEM_OBJECT_ALLOCATION_FAILURE
How i solve this issue?
Make your pagefile huge Make your virtual memory multiples of your GPU's VRAM, eg, 5 pcs RX570 4G will need 5*4 = 20GB virtual memory on hard disk.

Hi, just tried it out and is the best miner for Vega card I ever seen! It will be great if you can add backup pool option or run from config file like Claymore's miner.

plz help, have 6x rx480 dual 8gb (mod bios) and so many problems with cards, stability and fluctuations 28-29mh/s to 15mh/s and les .....use Claymore 9.2, and 16.11.5 driver, overcloc 1100CC / 2000MC ...... can any put here what is the best over cloack for this cards, and good seting for claymor, i dont understand whats is -ams 0 or -ams 1 , 2 plz explain some ....whats best setings for DUAL, and only ETH.... sorry for bad English
Did you try to adjust the -dcri parameter? Try to adjust with +/- key while running to get best mining speed. Yep i try that, and noting, same problem Sometimes inappropriately modded BIOS can cause a stability issue. Also try to overclock from Crimson software only, not from miner software, coz I got a similar issue before by adjusting GPU parameters from miner software itself. I mem clocked to 2050 and so far so good to my RX470.

With some fine tuning, and since AMD cards are more efficient than before, mining with GPU can be a way to go with current altcoin price, but it still depends since no one knows what will happen next to the altcoin prices.
One more thing, if GPU mining becomes outdated, it can be sold to budget gamers as a plan B to get back money, unlike ASIC machine, if the hardware outdated it will just become trash and no market value.

I'm sick to death of my miner crashing. I have six rx 470 8gb sapphire cards and it can run ok for days, then locks up. Then I have to restart it about 10-20 times because I constantly get the message "Ethdcrminer64.exe has stopped working". Then I go into GPUZ and see that one of the cards is not reporting data fully. After 10 restart or so it starts working again, and I get a few more days mining, sometimes less.
What could be causing this? All cards are cool, well ventilated running at 74 degrees contant. this issue is really pissing me off now. All parts are relatively high quality, EVGA power supply etc.
I am running win 10 64 bit
remove and reseat everything. run memtest86 overnight. all vbios stock? No I modded them for extra mining capabilities and it worked well for a while but now it's crashing a lot. I am sick to death of the "Dcrethminer64.exe has stopped working" error. Check gpu-z for cards with Hynix ram lol. GPUZ reports the ram as 8gb samsung. But sometimes certain bits of data are missing from the gpuz report on one card or another. Can't remember exactly which bits of data, they are usually blank. When you see that you know without doubt claymore is going to crash. But sometimes it still crashes when GPU is reporting everything is OK on all cards. It's a shame because if this carries on I will have to sell up. I just ROI'd thanks to the ethereum price shooting up but I wanted to run it for a year or so. It is taking up so much time now and I cannot nail down the issue(s). Do you check the PCIE riser? GPU also draw power from motherboard through PCIE.

Hi, Nice to meet you all. 1st time to post since I've been following this thread.
I owned RX470 (Hynix) card and is really suck compared to Samsung RAM, but I flashed the BIOS to fix the voltage and RAM min. frequency and still running so far with dual mining mode, but performance still worse than Samsung counterpart.
I've been using Chrome Remote Desktop and so far so good, no issues.
Live long to Claymore!
