There are currently more than 30,000 pending accounts yet to verify by Mtgox. All of them are people who want to trade with BTC...the request will get higher and higher each day, although the production will steadily decrease in speed.

If its a bubble then it certainly has not yet reached its maximum. The down fall lately of 200$ or so is already recovering and in a few days maybe weeks everything will be reach a new highest level - I think.

Actually with BTC it is very simple to get rich quickly....but 10 BTC at 40 $, sell them at 260 $ -> tada!!
On the other hand of course....you can just as good get poor quickly ;-)

had a same problem knew about BTC in 2011, but thought this ship has already sailed although actually I would have won so much money since then if I already started at that time.

The problem is that the only comany you can currently purchase ASICs from is Butterflylabs, bcs Avalons last batch of mining rigs was already sold out 5 minutes after they opened the pre-order on their website ;-) BFL though...if you order a rig now, it will defintely take at least 2 months before you will be served but it might also take one year before you receive it.
