1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another ETH hard fork??? on: November 07, 2017, 08:23:52 PM
ParityTech bug affected ETH price. What's a coincedence. Having BTC 2X  fork in a veiw, Ether has an issue as well. My guess it's a happy chance for LTC show right now.
2  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much BTC will fall in 3 days after Segwit2x fork in November? on: November 04, 2017, 07:17:02 PM
It's not the only scenario. Correction might happen just before 2Xday then relief rally.
3  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Cash's price during a Segwit2X fork on: October 09, 2017, 12:19:55 PM
If replay protection ussie won't be settled then messy scenario might happen. Network split, unsecure transactions, bitcoin balances on third side to be freezed for txn. As long as 2X side keep standing off replay protection, I guess there would be little chance to relief rally soon after 2X fork as it was about 1st August.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: South Korea Bans ICO's/Your Opinion on: September 30, 2017, 10:31:40 AM
It's not worrisome development. It rather positive to future ICO. I think it would be better to have few places in the world but reputable ones and with clear rules. Zug valley for instance. Switzerland offers  mild environment for startups and ICO. I have no intention to shill a swiss hallmark, just an example.
So I don't feel that news about one more country ban ICO would cause market crash.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another wall street idiot, this time, Jordan Belfort calls bitcoin a fraud. on: September 28, 2017, 11:13:29 AM
That reminds me famouse "Trading is too risky!" on other board.
How WS big asses get used to be saved by taxpayeers money. Let them keep trading 30 times overbought stocks.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin successfully defeated China on: September 19, 2017, 03:42:12 PM
Bitcoin showed remarkable resilience facing news from China. Price is not far from the level before first signs that Chinese government planned to ban bitcoin exchanges. Threat of closing most populated market for bitcoin is not as scary as it used to be. Bitcoin is certainly winner in this fight.

7  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-09-16] China’s three largest bitcoin exchanges will all stop offering on: September 17, 2017, 02:19:32 PM
My guess is Beijin will step back a little. Some bylaws for trading crypto in China is likely be imposed. Chinese exchanges will have to be licensed. Otherwise capital flow would be significant. Chinese traders will move to Japan.

9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What the hell is JPMorgan upto? on: September 16, 2017, 08:59:52 AM
Should it will prove that JP Morgan people taking part in trading crypto as mr. Dimon has made that notorious comments, a big stink could happen. A lot of question would arise concerning this matter in a case of big short in american banking.
10  Economy / Speculation / Re: More Chinese FUD to trigger panic selling on idiots on: September 12, 2017, 06:07:07 PM
I am still not quite sure that speculation about PBoC argueable ICO regulation was the only trigger of cryptomarket  rolling down. Prices dropped at openning American trading session time, not Asian.

I am quite sure that the drop we have experienced recently, is only the result of the long waited for correction. It's a pretty mild correction considering that we are still hovering over the $4000 level. If we look at the crypto market in general, and then directly at what coin should really get affected by this ICO ban, then it's Ethereum. This coin thrives on this ICO boom as insane number of coins get pumped into ICO's, making sure that these coins aren't coming back into the circulating market for quite a while - result in Ethereum's case is clear if we look at how it has exploded in value this year. Bitcoin shouldn't at all get affected by this, so I don't believe this ICO ban has had any effect on Bitcoin's market recently.

That's why I like being here. Ethereum would be the most and overt dumped if it comes to ICO prohibition. What we have now it's 20% correction after August 50% run and that Chinese FUD is only excuse.
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: More Chinese FUD to trigger panic selling on idiots on: September 12, 2017, 10:28:16 AM
It was so many times before that "China to ban bitcoin" FUD would had turned into bullish  Smiley , but it didn't this time.
I am still not quite sure that speculation about PBoC argueable ICO regulation was the only trigger of cryptomarket  rolling down. Prices dropped at openning American trading session time, not Asian.

Thank you Wapinter and Snapup team. Wishing SNP project a great success.
13  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What happened ? on: September 04, 2017, 08:23:20 AM
Shouldn't be surprised market price move swing. After August bull run, some traders take profit, some investors rearrange portfolio. No sign of panic selling yet.
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Things All traders should Do on: September 03, 2017, 02:26:05 PM
I would add to a.2 following: "Never buy shitcoins. Even excellent strategy can't help much, if one's grabbed full hands of garbage".
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Big rally in Aug, so what's next? on: September 03, 2017, 09:28:41 AM
Some alts under top10 market cap is getting momentum. While majors relieve the run it's good time to offset gap.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: Moment for buying or selling? on: September 03, 2017, 08:18:57 AM
My advice if you want to buy now is fine but do not hold your bitcoin until next year, because the bitcoin price is fluctuating. You better play trading than just holding it, it's more profitable than holding it until next year.

I beg to disagree with you brother. Yes trading is profitable as it grows your money faster than holding it but its a risky thing especially for beginners. Holding is the safest way for beginners as if he just hold it he surely profited as the bitcoin price is constantly rising.
Seeing the timestamp of OP, its 3 months ago from now. So if OP bought that time maybe he profited now atleast 50% from its capital. And its a huge profit in just a span of 3 months.

@Casdinyard. Wise suggestion and good example.
Having messy trade or getting in panic selling, beginners may fall into depression. With growing awarness how things work in crypto market, more sophisticated approach could be added to proven long term holding bitcoin strategy.
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is BTC going on bearish trend now? on: September 02, 2017, 02:32:31 PM
Bitcoin is still on bullish trend till not touch $4500 level. People who expected new rally on this weekend trading are super optimistic, I didn't.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $0.85 transaction fee is absolutely ridiculous! on: September 01, 2017, 10:39:42 AM
After August game with switching hash power and spamming, mempool looks better. Chances are tx fees edge down soon.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: STRATIS - Korean Exchange? on: September 01, 2017, 10:23:13 AM
Has the news got some more proof?   or it's just rumour.
20  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tulip Bubble & Bitcoin on: August 31, 2017, 02:21:07 PM
Basically, measurment is comparision an object to reference standard. If the object can't be measured directly due to complex or innovative nature, there are attempts to make assessment of the object or its attributes by comparison with somthing similar one. When it comes to analisys supply and demand or user base, "tulip bulb" and bitcoin attributes comparison are incorrect. Does bitcoin like tulip bulb? If it does not, then why there are talks about "tulip mania" as well as "how much bubble bubbled" over and over. All the talks could be regarded as an attempt to make assessment of future market price action. Actually it would be boiled dawn to two questions: Will bitcoin move down to zero level?  What level high will bitcoin achieve in the future?
Both questions have been discussed many times.
