1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of all cryptocoins on: December 29, 2013, 08:37:51 PM
How do we stop a new coin every day? This will kill the whole idea eventually as it cannot be sustainable to have hundreds of virtual currencies?

I thought 30 was enough but now I don't even know what to buy/mine anymore.

The free market will fix it!
2  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: How often do you restart the computer your mining on? on: December 05, 2013, 06:13:58 PM
My miner restarts once a day. I only have access to it once a month.
3  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: What hash rate can I expect from 3 x 7850s? on: April 18, 2013, 03:38:15 PM
Why do you need a case? You're going to trap a lot of hot air inside.

It's a scam. The owner of the company has been convicted of fraud in the past.

What are you mining; Litecoin I presume. Well first I would join a pool, solo mining is pointless.

It's not even worth your time, even if you do try your notebook will mostly likely burn.
9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Litecoin mining not working? (noob question) on: April 13, 2013, 05:20:29 PM
I'm not sure what guide you're following but this is what I have done.
1. Make an account on https://lc.ozcoin.net/ (or any litecoin pool)
2. Create a new worker on https://lc.ozcoin.net/content/workers
3. Download reaper http://wiki.solidcoin.info/wiki/Reaper#Download   version 13.
4. Extract the zip anywhere
5. Open litecoin.conf and reaper.conf

litecoin.conf should look like this
Quote
host newlc.ozco.in
port 9332
user name.1
pass 1

protocol litecoin

worksize 256
aggression 12
threads_per_gpu 1
sharethreads 18
lookup_gap 2
gpu_thread_concurrency 6144

reaper.conf should look like this.
Quote
kernel reaper.cl
save_binaries yes
enable_graceful_shutdown no
long_polling yes

mine litecoin

6. After you saved those run reaper.exe

If it does not crash consider raising the aggression in litecoin.conf

19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: first setup questions on: April 13, 2013, 02:26:21 PM
Asic miners are a bit of a scam atm. it will take months for your order to come, I know some who has been waiting 8 months. I would just get a 7770 and mine litecoins. Once the asic miners start to come out mining on a gpu will get a lot harder.

How do you add funds on OKPay? Do you have to do that confirm identity first?
