After reading this page I can see that there are people finally noticing that these guys are clowns/hacks. anybody who had compiled the source code should have seen that and known from obvious stupid mistakes that would have been fixed before release by any real programmers (all of the warnings, faulty comparisons, etc.) .. yes people wished for this thing to live so they spent all their money on zcoins. i sure did. and when i realized those 50 were gone i sold the all remaining very quick. i had 635 left and they were only worth $6.5 at the time. I paid more yet I could care less. my funds are in tact and the coin i put in has grown to almost double since.
i warned you all but you ignored me because you think i am a "newbie" cause this idiotic forum has me labeled as such. the fact is that i have been using computers since i was a small child and have plenty of practical experience. i am no longer a child if you could not have guessed but this is not about me at all. it is about the fact that when people show up with WARNINGS maybe some of you folks holding large amounts of ZCOIN should TAKE HEED and do your OWN RESEARCH instead of writing it off for FUD and lies. I am one of the most honest people you would ever encounter that is the hilarious IRONY of this whole situation.
the response from the devs (and the community) to me losing 50 coins is the same response that I warned you about that you should have listened and known these people are running scared and probably hacked the damn things (typo error) THEMSELVES>
yes enjoy and have a nice life I am done checking thread unless a zcoin dev messages my inbox to help me solve the 50 coins gone problem from mintzerocoin .
i dont expect much at this point they have much bigger issues.
Did you try to export wallet on another computer (a windows vm for example)? |

Does any one know how to mine Zcoin using CPU, the official guide seems to be broken? Any recent youtube video?

Announcements should not be made privately from developers.
Either say nothing or go public with it through the appropriate channels. Anything else raises suspicions of insider trading, preferential treatment and/or corruption.
+1. Maybe "Corruption" isn't appropriate...personnal opinion. |

And only two of those with original development. Wrong ZenCash has original development built on top of ZCash the same way both ZCoin and ZCash are built upon Bitcoin All altcoins are built upon Bitcoin! xD ripple and monero and probably others coins doesn't share bitcoin code. |

I don't find it difficult to understand, I find it improper and unprofessional. Well okay - since you ask, it benefits me in the short term, but I find it highly improper for a developer to announce a week before that a week later an announcement will be made. To me the it's unprofessional, even if it is motivated by a desire to pump XZC and even if I benefit from it in the short term. Why are you making an announcement now that you're making an announcement in roughly a week's time? Why don't you make an announcement in a week's time, I mean the actual announcement, rather than the announcement of the announcement - isn't that normal practice? I mean, I'm okay with you pumping my coins, I suppose. Just found it strange. We will be making an announcement in roughly a week's time  Anyway you can always follow our github (and its various branches) to see what we are working on. I find strange, that you found strange that "your" coins are pumped and you complain  Wonder what can be stranger than my situation  Strange You're looking into this a little too hard. It basically says we will have some news for you in about a week. Don't understand why you find it so difficult to understand? Personnaly, I'm ok with you. However: - It's crypto world, no friends in business. Devs and zcoin team are here for money too. - We know MTP testing will be for may / june / jully. If you continue to play during this period, You have to accept to loose somes coins. Personnaly, I stop playing last week for same reason describe here. |

How say....be patient or sell your coins and go away. For the second choice, it's good for invertisor to have cheap coin. 0.02 will be the first stage, then will down to 0.004/0.005. Second stage will be like the first. The w trade diagram will be the zcoin road until one day, in few years, where zcoin will be famous like monero, dash or eth. Every serious coins have this kind of montain view. The only question is : zcoin is it serious? Only dev work and time can respond to this question. Remember Darkcoin / dash, bitcointalk thread was similar until the first pump. After that, monero trollers was there. Zcoin seems to be the darkcoin's son so investisor has just to be PATIENT and beware of zcash trollers. |

just started zcoin, downloaded the wallet (running on ubuntu 16), got it synced, downloaded sgminer-msvc2015 (planning on solo mining), got it to work, but now i have two questions: 1. im getting more hashrate out of my RX470 (22 Kh/s) than the R390x (15 Kh/s) ? 2. i keep getting "Share above target" on sgminer? Edit: i modified the conf file of sgminer a bit now im getting 450Kh for the RX470 and 400Kh for the 390x? also i keep getting "invalid nonce - HW error"? this is my conf file: {
