1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: March 12, 2018, 07:35:47 AM

Alt coins do have a future, especially ETH, their purpose in the markets is still very relevant and can be used as a smaller denominations of a currency. they also provide a variety to chose from in case one needs to transact using crypto.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now a good time to invest in ICO? on: March 12, 2018, 07:33:19 AM

Buying BTC or ETH sounds like a good plan to me. but not all ICOs are scams, this year, several ICOs have cropped up and most have turned out to be scams, so caution should be taken when choosing one, look at the developers, its market use and how the tokens are shared as some of the pointers of legit ICOs,

Best of luck
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: No more facebook campaigns? on: March 12, 2018, 07:30:00 AM

Facebook til allows legitimate ICO campaigns and re-posts. the ban has not totally affected all ICOs and i believe ones the advertisement fees has been paid then there is no way they can prohibit it. its not yet clear how far the ban goes though.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Expected etherium prices by the end of 2018 on: March 12, 2018, 07:25:42 AM

Its almost impossible to accurately predict the prices of crypto over a duration of time, but ETH has had a considerable stability and should continue its growth, anything is possible an by the end of the year there will be a significant change in value.

The current market turbulence provides a perfect opportunity to invest, especially for those who have always wanted BTC, you can also consider NEO, WAVES  and XMR as an addition to your portfolio.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it possible to hack a bitcoin address? on: March 10, 2018, 12:45:02 AM
Hello ! I would like to know if it is possible to hack a bitcoin address and to have his private key?

Hacking for private keys is almost impossible, the current technology is way too advanced to allow that. the only way one gains access to someone else's private key is if they give it to you willingly

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now a good time to invest in ICO? on: March 07, 2018, 05:17:17 AM
I've been searching for ICOs for a few days and there seems to be many cases of scams and hacks which kinda scares me. Obviously, there is no 100% certainty which is going to be a successful one but is there any way to identify which ones are at least going in the right direction? The first one I looked at was Mossland's Whitepaper and they seemed good with solid community. Or should I just buy BTC or ETH? Any suggestions and ideas would be very helpful!

BTC and ETH presents a good investment opportunity and id advise that they are given first priority. However, not all ICOs are scams, this year has been a god year for ICOs with most raising millions of dollars, its however upon you to investigate an ICO and ensure that you aren't investing in a scam . there are several pointers to ICOs with good futures, just look closely and don't fall a victim.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest now or wait? on: March 07, 2018, 05:11:45 AM

Another dip may not come by anytime soon. the prices aren't too high yet so i think its still a good time to invest
9  Economy / Economics / Re: 99% of the people still think that fiat money are better than crypto on: March 03, 2018, 12:02:04 AM
Mot people still favor fiat because they don't know much about BTC and no one has made an effort to tech them either. some just don't have the resources to know about BTC and therefore prefer fiat
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think this year will be Red? on: March 02, 2018, 12:27:36 PM
To me it doesn't really make sense that the market will be in the red across the whole year. Unless there are some major changes in terms of regulations etc. 2017 was the best year yet in many ways and crypto is now the biggest it's ever been in terms of global exposure. Given that it would be a big turnaround for 2018 to be a negative year.

I share this sentiment, there's just no way the whole year can run red.regardless of the changes. a number of cryptos can be affected for one or two reasons but not all will go down. not at once at least
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is the best way to invest? on: March 02, 2018, 12:19:50 PM

Yes ICO is the best way to invest. it gives you an opportunity to step ahead of other investors as you acquire the stakes before it gets to the market. as a seed investor, you acquire the tokens at a cheap price which places you at a good position to make huge profits when the project is successful.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram ICO is not for you on: March 02, 2018, 12:13:01 PM

I think telegram ICO is brilliant and they'v chosen only the top cream who will benefit them directly through investments, all others have been locked out. that's what id don't understand, why would they show such obvious favoritism. whit such a heavy investment cut mark, they wouldn't even need crowd sale.
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much is 1 bitcoin worth? on: March 02, 2018, 11:58:10 AM

Currently, one BTC goes for just over $10K. convert that into Philippine Peso and you get the correct value. Its due to the volatility of the the cryptocurrency market that makes the prices change and not inflation that makes the price change. the low supply is a contributing factor though.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: March 02, 2018, 11:51:54 AM
there definitely will be a wider coverage and more awareness of BTC. Probably more investments will follow. but with all these regulation and legalization battles. i doubt if TV adverts of BTC can be allowed.
15  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin need to change it's PoW algorithm? on: February 18, 2018, 10:50:39 AM

well, unless its absolutely necessary or exposed to threats, otherwise, upgrading may be necessary, but not total overhaul because it has served the purpose well so far
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is recovering on: February 16, 2018, 06:11:15 AM

What happened to bitcoin prices can happen to any cryptocurrency, bitcoin's strength however lies on comeback as demonstrated during this trying moments, the prices will always go up and down, its upon the investors to see through it and decide whether to hold or to sell.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Another Coin Take the Crown? on: February 15, 2018, 04:19:12 AM
In future, yes maybe ethereum, or another alt coin. however, it has to have very special qualities as bitcoin keep on tightening its grip on the crown with introduction of new technologies such as the lightning network. even if bitcoin is dethrown at the top, it will never lose value due to its scarcity.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy when market is Red on: February 15, 2018, 04:09:30 AM

I call it the survival rule, makes you a lot of money when you make the right decisions all factors considered. Be sure to research well on the coin you are buying and let the forces of demand as supply do the rest of the work for you.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you ❤️ crypto??? on: February 13, 2018, 08:27:27 PM

crypto has kept hackers working on how to access the blockchain, yet they seemnot to succeed. crypto is a safe platform that keeps data safe and private. the transaction speed in crypto also makes it stand out, and the fact that everyone's identity is kept private is just an icing on the cake.
20  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What is the best way to create a new crypto currency? on: February 13, 2018, 08:10:09 PM
mining for starters isn't such an easy thing to explain, but for beginners, its advisable to get bitcoin miner, a windows 10 app that does almost everything for you while you learn more. once the app has been downloaded, the user enters their wallet address in the payout address settings and press the start button and you will be good to go. thorough research is however advisable before going deep into cryptocurrency.
