1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Want to buy worthless altcoins on: September 02, 2017, 09:32:22 PM
I assume you hope these would be worth something some day?  Roll Eyes

You assume wrong. I just want to have a bunch of worthless coins, kind of like stamp or pokemon card collecting, but with worthless cryptos.
The coins are for my own enjoyment. Hence why I'm looking to buy coins that actually have no value. Most of the coins that have no value I assume are already dead coins. Still, I want them Cheesy

Stop shitting up my post unless you have coins to sell.

Looking to buy altcoins which aren't on exchanges yet. Prices will vary depending on the community, if I like the name of the coin, all kinds of factors.

These can be truthfully worthless vanity coins that have no intention of being a serious crypto, to crypto's that are currently launching but can't be sold at an exchange yet.

Let me know what coins you have, and what kind of payment method you're comfortable with. I'm looking to buy around $5 at a time, so keep that in mind before selecting a payment method.

UPDATE: FFS please read the OP
If you have coins worth more than $5 you are in the wrong place. I'm trying to buy worthless coins. The word worthless meaning coins of very little to no value. Don't come at me asking to sell your annoying lite coin knock offs that are worth $4 a coin, don't come asking to sell a coin worth $400. You'll be ignored.

I haven't ever mined a coin before, so I guess this is a good place to start. Thanks OP.
10  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Developing an indie game, looking for investors. on: May 14, 2017, 07:22:11 PM
We're still pushing to get a demo out. We've done a lot of work on our Json scripts, and have begun working on our design. We plan to have a playable demo out, in the next few days.

Just wanted to quickly show off a few screen shots of some of the stuff we're working on still. The graphics are strictly placeholder graphics. If you're interested in seeing more let me know.

I am glad to see strong connections between gamer and blockchain worlds, which are both growing pretty fast.
I suppose you will find investors faster if you will release more information right here, and when you will release your MVP(demo)
Yes, that's what we're hoping.
I talked to my team, and we're going to be pushing to have a short playable demo ready in about a week.
Demo will be good if done well , also asking about the escrow method that grantee investors bitcoins ?

What do you mean by gaurentee investors bitcoins? If you mean gaurentee we will use the funds appropriately then I'm not exactly sure how I could prove that, other than showing off our expense reports every week (Which i'm happy to do). If you mean gaurentee that investors make a profit then, I can't gaurentee that at all. I know that I love to make games, and I know how to market them, but at the end of the day, a small indie studio can be a risky investment. I cannot gaurentee anyone profits. I can't even gaurentee you'll break even. What I can gaurentee is that you'll be helping us make a really cool game, that will be fun to play.

I can also provide some screenshots of what we're working on, as well as daily reports on our progress. We're offering a 10 percent stake in the game for 10k

Yea send some screenshots and more information. I like the way Augmentors marketed their project, with links to a very comprehensive site.

You will find that investors will not jump in without more detailed information and project plans. How will their investment make a difference and

what are the target due date for the launch... { they want a return on their investment and cannot wait for years. } So send some more detailed

plans.  Wink

Sure I'd be happy to do that, and I'm also happy to show off the GDD and monitization documents to interested investors as well.

A 40% stake is a lot, but considering the high risk, you might have to settle for it. You might be able to buy back equity in the future as the invested is paid back.

I would rather put the game off than offer up a 40% stake in the company. If it were say a 25% stake in the game, that would be a different story, but a 40% stake in the company is waaay to steep a price to pay for the funding.

.The main reason we are looking for funds is so we can take time off, and put more time into our game.
If you guys have taken it professionally, why don't seek for investments from your local investors like Angel.co ? You pretty much have a company ,a start-up,which will raise huge seed investment if you approach Tech Investors. No doubt bitcointalk do have potential investors but communication gap would always be there. This is right time for the bitcoin gaming market to blow up.

We're looking into other areas of investment as well. I've approached my father and some of his business partners about it, and they're willing to give us 10k in exchange for a 40 percent stake. Don't get me wrong, 10k would be nice but a 40 percent stake is beyond unreasonable.

In the mean time we're exploring other options. Bitcointalk isn't our last hope by any means.
18  Economy / Lending / Re: Developing an indie game, looking for investors on: May 01, 2017, 06:45:06 PM
This isn't really a loan.

Then please move it (link to move under this post) to the proper section.  Because right now you are just a noob asking for a no collateral loan, which gets you negative trust fast.

What I can promise is that we're busting our asses working on this game, we've got a lot invested in this project both monetarily and emotionally.

Building the game is the easy part, and doesn't require investors.  Build it in your spare time.

Marketing of the game will be the hard part.  Attracting players.

Sure I can move the post. And well...building the game and marketing are both the hard parts. We have an estimated 3500-5000 hours of development left depending on production continues to move forward. Each of us working on it full time would allow us to move our product out faster.

The problem is everybody could say this. You cant ask for a investment without any showing or proofing material. This is not cause everybody think you a scammer - this is because everybody want to see that's real.

So show what you got so far.

As I said above, I'd be happy to show both the GDD, and the Monetization Documents to anyone who was interested. I can send them to you if you'd like.

Such documents dont help those who lend you money get it back. I think your best bet would be to launch a kickstarter or a indiegogo campaign.

This isn't really a loan. It's an investment and it could go either way to be honest. If the game sells then we should all make money, if it doesn't sell then we're all losing money. We've considered going to kickstarter but we really don't like the idea of setting an "investment goal" that, if not reached results in losing what funds people have offered us.

What I can promise is that we're busting our asses working on this game, we've got a lot invested in this project both monetarily and emotionally.
