1  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitfloor closes down, but with no interest in making things right on: April 19, 2013, 12:43:16 PM
I have put up my bank account for verification, but they say it is on backorder, so it could be a couple weeks. Honestly this is a huge inconvinience, and is my first time dealing with any exchanges. At this point I am just hoping I will get my money back.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Colbert Report - segment on Bitcoin 4/17/2013 on: April 19, 2013, 02:01:39 AM
We all knew that they would be criticized, I mean its a satiric show, however any type of attention is good attention. I am not too familiar with the Colbert fan base, but hopefully it will convince people to do research of their own.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Teresa is going to get a visit from the IRS on: April 19, 2013, 01:49:14 AM
It'll force the IRS to issue some more detailed tax regulation on Bitcoin though.  In my mind, that's a good thing, as it'll lend additional credibility to Bitcoin.

I agree 100%, I mean isn't this in a sense similar to laundering money?
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Western Union considering using Bitcoin on: April 19, 2013, 01:45:14 AM
this is exciting news!
5  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Looking for a TRUSTED buyer on: April 19, 2013, 12:23:28 AM
Is there a minimum?
6  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTS] Bitfloor account with $2500 USD. Seeking BTC on: April 18, 2013, 10:56:18 PM
I am guessing that once you get the account, you will have to connect the account to your bank account for ACH withdrawl. I am in the same boat, however I am in the process of verifying my bank account with them. It would take a couple of weeks, so no, if the bank account is not already, they have not started refunding.
7  Economy / Currency exchange / [WTB] BTC for Moneygram, MP, or cash deposit. on: April 18, 2013, 09:28:00 PM
I am looking to buy a couple of bitcoins(more business down the road), via Moneygram, Moneypack, or cash deposit. Since I am new here, i will transfer my usd to you first, however only with reputable members of the forum. Pm or post here.

Thanks

9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitfloor a good place to trade? on: April 18, 2013, 12:12:21 PM
Not anymore, their Us bank account just got closed, and it looks like they are shutting down.
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitfloor trading suspended on: April 18, 2013, 12:03:30 PM
I have my funds in usd on my bitfloor account, I an undergoing the verification process, but that will probably take a week. Bitfloor have yet to respond to any of my emails that I sent them, hopefully I can get my money back, this was my first time dealing with them.
11  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: cashing out of exchange on: April 18, 2013, 11:18:21 AM
no, I am guessing you had your funds in usd when bitfloor "suspended". Same with me, I had to upload information and apply for the ACH transfer. Even then, the verification is backlogged, and it could be a week or two before we are verified, so you should do it as soon as possible.
12  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Looking for a TRUSTED buyer on: April 18, 2013, 11:16:25 AM
Do you have any available? I am looking for maybe 2.5?

thanks
13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Escrow for virtual trading? on: April 18, 2013, 02:33:56 AM
Is there an escrow that could be used for MP -> BTC trades? is btcrow safe for this kind of transaction?

14  Economy / Currency exchange / Looking to buy BTC with MP on: April 18, 2013, 01:30:57 AM
Hey guys, so as you can see I am new to this forum. I would like to buy a couple bitcoins(i want to start small maybe 2 or 3 at first). Obviously, I don't have much credibility on this forum, so I am guessing I will have to transfer the MP over to you first. For this reason, I would like to work with only very reputable members here on the forum(I will send MP first for reputable members, unless you can recommend some sort of escrow system, don't pm unless you are reputable).

Thanks!
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cash to BTC Urgent. on: April 18, 2013, 12:57:20 AM
Well I guess haha. I've been following bitcoin prices for a while, and I was kicking myself for not getting any when I saw them go up to like $250. I figured now is a good time to jump in
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cash to BTC Urgent. on: April 18, 2013, 12:20:56 AM
of course, you caught me red handed.... No, its urgent because the price is rising. If I could have bought them when they were at $60 a couple days ago(if getting these things were that easy), then I would have made a considerable amount of money. I personally believe it is going to raise a bit more before stabilizing, so I would like to get a few.
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cash to BTC Urgent. on: April 17, 2013, 11:24:55 PM
What do you mean? I may be wrong, but the only "instant" funding option there is bit instant, and they are having a lot of problems as well, aren't they?
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Cash to BTC Urgent. on: April 17, 2013, 11:03:35 PM
Hey guys, I was working with Bitfloor, but they closed down(seems like). I am trying to get Bitcoins with cash. I can to moneygram, moneypack, etc..., I just need BTC urgently. The only other site i know of that offers cash services is bitinstant, and I have heard a lot of people here on the forums are having issues with them. Any suggestions?
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitfloor trading suspended on: April 17, 2013, 10:39:13 PM
This happened the day I decided to buy bitcoins for the first time. Hope you guys get your btc, unforunately, my funds are in usd on the site, did'nt have time to trade to btc. I hope i just didn't loose $200...
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BITFLOOR WEBSITE!!!??? on: April 17, 2013, 10:37:39 PM
Same with me too. Bitfloor have anounced they are suspending the exchange indefinately, and that their us bank is being closed. My USD funds are stuck on the site, with the BTC fluctuating like it is. This is a huge inconvinience for me as well.
