BAT 'Mercury' update coming by Friday 6th October. Look it up on their blog...  Shocked
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I/O Coin (IOC) - Heads up! DIONS release on: September 27, 2017, 05:35:30 PM
Well... Seems like the pump is over, atlast for now, im very pleased with the profits made. They started the countdown clock but it didn't pump higher on that news and the clock is twice as long as expected. They also didn't get first prize in the fintech awards. The team are good guys though and hard workers, we should watch this space for future developments. All the best to them  Smiley
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Altcoin to invest in for 2017 and WHY !!! on: September 25, 2017, 07:11:40 PM
My favorites are Solarcoin, Tezos, lykke and Iota.

All these coins have huge room to grow!

I'm pleased to see people picking up on Lykke. If you really look into ths project you'll realise that it is kick ass!

hmm, just speculation, i have been active on the IOCoin slack and the thought just came to my mind that as far as i know the Devs haven't spoken of technical progress on the project in several days now. I think this is because the whole DIONS update is now complete and the only thing left to do is start the countdown timer and call a block. And im guessing they will do this at the fintech awards on the 27th (only 2 days away). Would be a cool thing. Nobody has denied that this could be the case and many are beleiving this will happen, t makes total sense. Could be a very exciting few days now! Feeling the suspense. This coin is about to take a proper moonshot now i think.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BAT - Basic Attention Token ICO (31-5-17)- Worth Investing? on: September 23, 2017, 03:27:37 PM
Yea, and any waiting is soon over, big developments coming.

I am also tired of such 'scam comments' it's utter bull. This is obviously not a scam coin...
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BAT - Basic Attention Token ICO (31-5-17)- Worth Investing? on: September 23, 2017, 11:54:14 AM
I think BAT is at a fair price right now for what it is and the amount of circulating coins, any improvements from now on will make the price go up, and we only have 13 days until a MAJOR update. Snooze on this one and you are going to looze out big time. The founder is creator of Java script and co-founder of Firefox, he is serious about this project and it has a great concept. Im excited for the future price developments!
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IOCoin about to moon! on: September 21, 2017, 06:28:01 PM
Steady buying now, climbing up from the last significant bottom we had this morning. Could be about to go on the next leg up here to much higher levels... Wink
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IOCoin about to moon! on: September 21, 2017, 04:59:09 PM
Yes this project has super potential, been talking about it too. 3 -2- 1 blast off...
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I/O Coin (IOC) - Heads up! DIONS release on: September 21, 2017, 04:55:14 PM
For those who dont know, IO coin won a Fin-tech award and will be presenting their project to big banks and members of parliment in Brussels on Wednesday 27th

Also, there has just been a research report made on IO coin by Spero, which is pretty nice to say the least, you an see it here:
http://www.speroresearch.com/resources/

Good developments...

Going up up up, and we are only in the foothills... Can't beleive more people aren't taking note of this thread. Is it because im fairly new to the forum?
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I/O Coin (IOC) - Heads up! DIONS release on: September 13, 2017, 10:19:01 PM
IOC making gains now despite bitcoin coming down. Going for a moon shot soon. Snooze, you looze  Wink

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: KMD on: September 11, 2017, 11:28:10 AM
I haven't studdied KMD in a while, but i remember deciding not to invest long term because there was nothing really amazingly outstanding about the project, it's all just a bit average in my opinion. I think there is some better and more original stuff out there to invest in. But like i say, i haven't checked it out in depth in a while... Like, why invest in KMD long term when you could put the money into something much more amazing like Lykke (LKK), or perhaps I/O coin (IOC)

Also, i dont like the countdown clock they added on the KMD website just now, they may as well call it a 'pump clock',  i hate when the devs of a coin are trying to pump things up. It doesn't give me a lot of faith or trust. It's like calling your coin '10X', how rediculous...

i understand what you mean about countdown clocks. however, would you mind to explain what difference you see in the KMD countdown clock that you don't like and the imminent IOC countdown clock to which you have dedicated a whole thread? thanks.

The countdown clock for KMD is some short term thing about some news they know but are holding back from us. whereas the IOC is a countdown to calling the first block of the DIONS project which has been in development for about two and a half years. The IOC clountdown is more about giving a fair launch to their project. So these are a bit different situations. But yea, i can understand how i must have sounded like a hypoctite on the surface.

looks intresting, my main concern is the small team. I only count 2 developers.

Here is a list of the IO team, it's a bit out of date though. There has been a new developer hired who is not on the list, and also a new designer and web developer too. So, there are quite a few people working on this project...

Joel Bosh (Founder, Developer, Project Manager)
Richard Groen (Partnership and Investor relations)
Leader Developer: Derek Hatton
C++, RPC Lead Dev: St. Patty, OPhie
Mobile Developer: Unek
Community and Market Manager: Richard Groen
POS Security & Systems Management: Sam
Project Graphic Design: crz
Video Graphics: Michael Jonsson
Wallet Compiling Dev: Wuher
Wallet Compiling Dev: pcmerc
Editor: Evok3d
OP Beta Testing: Valianthor

Lets hope so. Any idea when the clock will start?

I expect the clock will be starting VERY soon now, just a couple of days perhaps...
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: (LKK) LYKKE speculation on: September 06, 2017, 08:33:53 PM
Tempus, it would be really helpful if you can answer this question for me, you seem to know the lykke fundamentals very well and give clear answers.

What will the total circulating supply of LKK be when they are all issued/ sold on the lykke exchange?

I can't find the answer anywhere on the lykke website (im sure it used to be there), and i have also been contacting lykke support but i dont seem to be able to get a clear answer! As an investor, it's important to know this number.

Thanks!

Can't beleive this thread has so little interest... this is big  Huh Im expecting atleast a 5x pump from here. If you look into what they have done, this is one of the best projects out there...
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why i bought Lykke (LKK) on: September 06, 2017, 09:34:58 AM

Lykke will one day be the largest decentralized exchange in the world and its value will surely be over 100,000 satoshi, about x15 now.

Come to the official thred here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1402110.0;topicseen
And ask any information at Tempus, always available and informed about all the latest updates and releases of Lykke!

Lykke is centralized

Lykke is centralized, the lykke-exchange is decentralized
Lykke exchange is another centralized exchange site, Can you tell me the proof if that makes me believe that the lykke exchange is the decentralized exchange site? they even run in a single site.
It was different with the decentralized exchange site such as metamask and waves dex.

Straight from the lykke website, this clears up any confusion about the centralised /decentralised aspect:
"Lykke is a semi-centralized exchange, which means that the exchange does not take possession of the traded coins, but needs to be trusted to match trades correctly. Lykke has a centralized matching engine and decentralized coin settlement. Matched trades are settled on the Blockchain in an atomic way. Each atomic transaction must be signed by both parties as well as the exchange."

So that's decentralised enough for me. They dont even posess your coins... I heard that if someone was to hack Lykke, there wouldn't be anything there to steal...
