The interesting question for me is what will happen as more gfx card miners are driven to ltc by the arrival of asics in btc mining. A certain proportion of those miners will be cashing out their profits which you would expect to push ltc down relative to btc as it is comparatively illiquid.

Can anyone recommend some decent technical documentation for bit coins. Something suitable for an experienced programmer? So far my googling has revealed plenty of introductory texts suitable for giving a general overview, and a few very specific articles but nothing that goes through the detailed implementation of how bit coin works
