1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crazy Bitcoin Conspiracy??? CIA? on: November 21, 2017, 04:37:08 AM
Conspiracy theories are only fun if you have substantial evidence. This theory doesn't. What you claim as evidence is completely and utterly circumstantial, and assuming Gavin Anderson to be Satoshi based from just that is a ridiculous stretch.

Where do you see me making the claim that Gavin is Satoshi?
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crazy Bitcoin Conspiracy??? CIA? on: November 21, 2017, 04:35:47 AM
why the hell would an agency like the CIA create bitcoin?

So that they can take compete control of the financial system and monitor every single transaction that takes place
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crazy Bitcoin Conspiracy??? CIA? on: November 20, 2017, 04:05:06 PM
There is no proof of this, at all. So we should be careful when putting someones name out there like this. But, as I have learned. Anything is possible.

OP has not putting the real name out there. He obv has protected the real person by using a fake name. Thx OP.

Yeah like he didn't go and put his own name out there when he admitted to meeting with the CIA.

I was thinking more along the lines of unwittingly chosen by the CIA
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Crazy Bitcoin Conspiracy??? CIA? on: November 20, 2017, 03:44:13 PM
As stated in the title I know that this sounds way out there but take a moment to entertain my thoughts.

Is it possible that Gavin Anderson was chosen by the CIA to become the face of Bitcoin? Satoshi seemed to just disappear from existence and left Gavin in charge after Gavin took a meeting with the CIA(Why he chose to do so boogles my mind). Is it possible that after that face to face meeting that they chose for him to become the public face of Bitcoin? Why has the US not followed Russia and China in restricting Bitcoin use? Or for that matter lead Russia and China to restrict it's use as they seem to like taking the lead in every other instance. Huh Huh Huh
6  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are bitcoins only for the educated and knowledgeable people only? on: November 14, 2017, 11:22:49 PM
Judging by the posts in this forum I would say that the majority of the people are not knowledgeable enough to be trading in Bitcoin. The majority of people have just flocked here because they don't want to miss the "fast money" train. They lack the knowledge to know the actual risks they are taking. Although I do think BTC should be for everyone I think people should read up and come to an understanding of what it actually is. Seems there are many that have no clue as to it's original purpose.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I stll don't know what to do with my Bitcoins... on: October 01, 2017, 03:47:06 PM
Quote
You can do three things with bitcoin.
1.Holding and waiting for the price to hit the moon.
2.Trading cryptocurrencies(you need skills and experience for this).
3.Gambling(i don`t recommend it).
If you wanna buy products with btc you can use purse.io (i`m not promoting it).
Bitcoin is not a currency, bitcoin is a digital financial asset.

You state that you can do three things with bitcoin and then you go on to mention four  Tongue
8  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bittrex User Narrates How He Almost Lost His Funds To A Phishing Site on: August 08, 2017, 07:33:53 PM
Just a thought. Before being allowed to withdraw any funds, why don't exchanges ask for another different password or confirmation via email?

When logging into Bittrex, bittrex send an email in case you didn't log in. That only work if one is online and watching their email account. It doesn't take long for a scammer to change the password.

This wouldn't really help that much as the hackers are using low volume coins to trade your funds away by buying high and selling low to accounts that they control.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS]: Putin getting ready to kick Bitmain's ass on: August 08, 2017, 05:15:51 PM
Well this is obviously a very interesting development. I am a bit surprised by this news.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Polo is insolvent (spidey senses tell me so) on: August 03, 2017, 11:38:39 AM
Reason Why.

Polo is not playing with the BCH.  Literally costing them $1Ms per day in fees.

I didn't understand this issue properly. Could you please explain better what it is happening to this regard? You mean fees that they don't earn or what? So why would they not play?
Most exchanges that support bitcoincash automatically gave there customers their coins if they were holding bitcoin on the exchange. Polo issued a no class action lawsuit change in their tos and keep all the customer's bitcoin cash. As polo has ownership of any coins you deposit until you withdraw them. So they made millions. Yet again stealing from customers. At the same time making a class action suit impossible. So every individual would need to pay substantial lawyer fees and would lose anyway.

Updating their TOS after the fact doesn't really look to good on their part and I'm sure it wouldn't hold up in court
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hackers are active these days. on: August 02, 2017, 06:10:58 PM
Some bitcoin users told me not to do transactions in these couple of days because hackers are active these days. I want to know is it true? or some kind of rumor? Anyone here who have faced such problem?

Hackers are always very active and you should always be taking precautions against them. The BTC fork for them is a golden opportunity that they will be  taking advantage of.  Take the proper precautions and you shouldn't have too much to worry about.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have either BTC and BCC? on: August 01, 2017, 11:17:13 AM
Nope,  you must open bcc wallet and claim your bcc first with private keys from your btc wallet,  then you send them on bittrex or whatever and sell

Correct me if i am wrong)

I'd personally never import my private keys into some stupid fork.

You never know, seen too many hacker, frauder, lier and scams to trust a new fork with all my money.

You never know if they didnt make this fake fork only to collect all bitcoin wallet and then dump all of you guys money.

I believe this is why you send the coins to a new wallet on the Bitcoin chain first and then you use private keys on the chain that forked. Then there will be no coins leftt for anybody to steal in the wallet.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reminders for today: #1 DON'T PANIC! on: August 01, 2017, 11:11:00 AM
I know that many prominent Bitcoiners have put their weight behind Bitcoin ABC, namely Craig Wright, Roger Ver, Jihan Wu, and maybe even Gavin Andresen with Mike Hearn. I suppose that's good reason to believe in success of Bitcoin Cash and think that Bicoin Cash will replace Bitcoin BIP148, i'm only making conjectures here and hope for the brighter future for Bitcoin.

That's one list of "prominent Bitcoiners" I'm glad I'm not on.  Although I am fascinated to find see what the outcome of all of this will be.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KSS] Krosscoin : Lets make good happen [Waves Blockchain] on: July 22, 2017, 10:38:32 PM
we were being used for arbitrage so kss/btc pair is not involved for a while.  kss/waves is it for now as far as pre=sale is concerned

You are not honouring your previous agreement. You stated a 30% bonus on both. I have purchased 30,000 KSS at 17 Satoshi before you stated this. I want my bonus!
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KSS] Krosscoin : Lets make good happen [Waves Blockchain] on: July 22, 2017, 07:19:45 PM
To participate in our presale, only buy from the 0.000141 sell order on kss/waves (or better still, contribute to our waves and btc wallets directly). You will notice it is in the hundreds of millions (gets lower by the day as presale is ongoing) . If you buy from any other sell wall, you have not contributed to us and so will be given no bonus. Cheers

What about the 17 satoshi you mentioned in your last post? This seems like a clown show to me.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥[ICO]EncryptoTel: Secure VoIP and B2B blockchain communications infrastructure on: July 22, 2017, 03:52:20 PM
If a buy wall was set somewhere why did devs not tell anyone?
I would assume that they would send an email to all ico registers telling when and where the buy wall would be placed.

They actually did inform everyone through there Slack channel and also a medium post. The Waves buywall has been up for a week now.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥[ICO]EncryptoTel: Secure VoIP and B2B blockchain communications infrastructure on: July 22, 2017, 07:11:19 AM
I can't withdraw tokens from the ico page to ethereum blockchain.
Can someone help me out please

Can you post here the error message you receieve, so that we all can try to figure out what it is?

I click withdraw and I get
"Withdraw request complete.
Thank you for completing the withdrawal process, your request has now been added to the queue.
You will receive an email with a full statement of your tokens when your withdrawal has been processed."

But I never get an email and tokens don't show up in myetherwallet

You have to add custom token in MEW, try doing this and if it doesn't work join the EncryptoTel slack and your withdrawal should be processed pretty fast.

Add Custom Token.

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nobody's mentioned the new Ethereum hack yet? on: July 22, 2017, 02:11:46 AM
I thought it would already have already been mentioned, my apologies if it has.

But Ethereum was hacked for over $30 million dollars! It wasn't just getting somebody's keys, it was a matter of exploiting a vulnerability in the core code. You'd think it would be a bigger news story, especially since it took white hat thieves to stop black hat thieves:

https://medium.freecodecamp.org/a-hacker-stole-31m-of-ether-how-it-happened-and-what-it-means-for-ethereum-9e5dc29e33ce

It has already been mentioned and also the White Hats didn't stop anyone. The hacker got away with $30 million. Initially he used the exploit and moved roughly 28,000 and then almost a day later he had used the exploit to move funds from the 2 other accounts. Also most of these White Hats were probably from Parity trying to limit their fuckup.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth using gpu or cpu to mine litecoin? on: July 21, 2017, 11:09:45 PM
Litecoin is mined with asics these days, not gpu. Sooner or later, all altcoins will be mined by asics.

I'm almost postive that Litecoin is still mined using GPU's, it is Bitcoin that can only be mined with Asics.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ICO do you regret participating in the most? on: July 21, 2017, 04:42:45 PM
none fortunately, but i was going to join waves, but then i stopped and i made the right choice after i see that the highest on the market was the ico price lol, would have been a bad investment, the only good ico for me were ETH and Lisk, other are shit

Ummm actually you would have made a killing if you had invested in Waves ICO and held the tokens I believe Waves ATH was roughly 25x the ICO price.
