FROM:

1. use DDU to clean the PC from any previous drivers.
2. Disable 4G decoding so you can log into windows (only  for Z170,H170, etc.)
3. Extract older driver for RX 400 series in Drive C: (I use 16.9.2 )
4. Extract driver for RX 500 series in Drive C: (I use 17.4.3)
5. Copy and replace all content from "C:\AMD\Non-WHQL-Win10-64Bit-Radeon-Software-Crimson-16.9.2-Sep21\Packages\Drivers\Display\WT6A_INF\B307117"  to "C:\AMD\WHQL-Win7-64Bit-Radeon-Software-Crimson-ReLive-17.4.3-Apr17\Packages\Drivers\Display\W76A_INF\B313057" (Basically you copy the old driver over the new)
6. Install the VGA cards manually from Device manager in Windows pointing path to the new driver 17.4.3 in this case.
7. Reboot and enable 4G Decoding in Bios
8. Enjoy if it works for you.




I have tried all day but I can not make this trick work... I really do not understand point 3 and 4 the rest is quite simple.., could you please advise me more precisely what I need to do for 3&4? I have 6 Msi rx Radeon 580 and the mother board is a b 250 Krait gaming also msi 6 slot.., when I tried to manually update the cards a error came out... Step 3 I need to download and install 16.9.2 and then what? Like copy the AMD file which is in the C drive to an external disc? Same for step 4? I just do not understand what you guys mean by extract to c drive the old 400 and 500..., I intstalled the version 16.9.2 on an external drive, same for the version 17.4.3, then I DDU the amd from pc and restart it. In the external disk I did copy paste the file from B307117 to B313057 and tried to update manually the drive using the path to the external disc but did not work... please help,l!!

Also in my motherboard bios , in the advance setting there is the option to enable 4g option, it says that normally only  a max of four cards are working.., and I should enable this option to run more cards..., the only problem is that If enable the option save and re-boot then the screen stays black and nothing happen..., And to be able to run windows again I must turn off power supply restart the rig and press enter to enter bios and then disable the option and restart..,, when I do this windows works again..., can someone explain why the enable option does not work? what is this black screen means?  How can I successfully enable it? is this the reason why 5 cards are not running in the first place? please help!!
