What about the people who have paid 1600 cost to get one D3 from Bitmain?

It all depend son the amount you have to invest, but I think Syscoin masternode is coming so is Stratis. But projects like Boscoin, Exscudo and Wagerr have masternode setup in their road so as to jump on this before it get expensive to buy
Thanks for the info. To begin with I am looking for nodes under $ 1K. Looking for something that is long term like a mining rig.

Zencash should have their secure nodes up and running any day I think. It cost 42 ZEN for a secure node and 3.5% of mined zen goes towards secure nodes.
So if there are 1000 secure nodes, each gets 7.560 ZEN per month.
And with todays prices is about $170 a month, minus VPS cost.
thank you, I will check it out.

I am looking to buy a masternode. Can experts suggest a coin that is very promising in terms: - expected to last long - node not so expensive
Please also explain why you think the coin is valuable. Most masternode coins seem obscure to me.

I have got my first B3+ from Panda miner. It came with an external power supply. There are seven power ports on the panda miner that I connected to the power supply, six actually with the seven port getting the second head of sixth connection.
I did not have the same plug as the power supply so I used a different cable to plug in the power supply to the wall. After connecting everything the power supply turns on but the PandaMiner doesn't turn on even if I press the small button on its surface.
Is it because my power source is 110 V (in USA) and I need to get a transformer to 220 V ?
Anybody who has setup Pandaminer B3+ in USA, can you please share the details. Thanks.
transformers suck don't get one. this psu works https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-SuperNOVA-Crossfire-Warranty-120-G2-1300-XR/dp/B00COIZTZM/ref=sr_1_2?Thank you! I am getting Bitmain APW3+ power supply, will that work too? http://shop.bitmain.com/productDetail.htm?pid=00020170810145351509wM7QTNd9067F

Can anybody please share their setup information for Pandaminer B3+? Did you have the buy the 110 to 220 V transformer? Thanks!
It is a 220V power supply. you need the correct voltage. A transformer might work if it can handle the watts (1300W+) but it's going to get very hot, use even more power due to transformer conversion, and may cause a fire if the transformer can't handle it. You really should either have 240V service (in the USA your electrician can wire this for you), or replace the Panda power supply with a PC one that can handle the watts and has seven PCI-E connectors. The HP server ones i see often (1200watt model) CAN'T do it because it is 1200watts at 240volts, and only 900watts at 120v. Thank you, Will the Bitmain APW3+ power supply work ? http://shop.bitmain.com/productDetail.htm?pid=00020170810145351509wM7QTNd9067F
