1  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How long until the logistics network is completely autonomous? on: May 31, 2017, 03:57:10 PM
The biggest hurdles being over regulation of autonomous vehicles on roads and the complexity/cost of the last leg deliver to a consumers door.

What do you think?

I think the way transport of goods is handled on highways provides possibilities for autonomously piloted cargo vehicles to start hauling loads back and forth in the next two decades or maybe even less. The technology is here already, but people don't have complete confidence in it and rightfully so. Remember the accident with the Volvo ceo who got ran over by their own car?

It's possible to have unmanned transport delivery vehicles on the highways even with the current tech. However it will be necessary for them to move in separate lanes and those lanes will have to be secured so as to decrease the chances for endangering the lives of regular people in the traffic.
2  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Donald Open His Wallet - Melania Wear 51 500 USD Jacket In G7 Summit on: May 30, 2017, 07:54:40 PM
He's usually going in front of her, without holding her hand. I'd say she's in need of some gifts  Wink
She looks good in both outfits, especially in that black dress. Sure it costed a fortune, but they can afford it. Donald has so much money that even if he keeps buying her expensive clothes every week, he'll still die filthy rich.

There are also plenty of videos showing him trying to grab her hand and getting rejected by her. It may be that his marriage is not that perfect after all and he's trying to buy her loyalty for the time being. A divorce is bad press for a president.
3  Other / Meta / Re: Enough Activity and Time on this forum but still not a member yet on: May 30, 2017, 07:50:43 PM
Well you get 1 activity for every post you make, but you can only get 14 activity every 2 weeks you're active. That means you've probably done many posts when you've been active, and then you've went inactive for a while and missed some 2-weeks period. You've also probably done all your activity gaining posts for the last 2 weeks cause I see you posted several times today, but you still need 4 more activity for member.
4  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you know children with Problem Behaviour? on: May 28, 2017, 09:09:07 AM
There was this kid in my school when I was little. He was constantly getting into fights, always looking to start trouble. I don't think he was a bad guy either, he just didn't think things through, like never. Even bullies were careful around this guy and rightfully so, you could never be relaxed around him cause he could change his mind about you in a second and acted on impulse. I think they later diagnosed him with ADHT.

School didn't go too well for this guy, and later in life he got connected with bad people, so be extra careful for your kid.
5  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Newbie help please on: May 26, 2017, 01:23:45 PM
It's always better to save your BTC on your own wallet than on an exchange or any other online services.

Number one someone might gain access to your account and run away with your money.

Number two, the exchange may experience some ddos or other type of downtime when anything might happen. From you not being to access your money when you need them urgently, to losing your money altogether.

Number three the exchange might decide to do an exit scam and just take everyone's BTC, shut down and run away.

Better safe than sorry.

you can also download software wallet like electrum/multibit/bitcoin core (slower than previous two) and safely store your bitcoin on your computer.

And if you do that, don't forget to back everything up somewhere, cause you know...computers.

Oh it's you again Cheesy Saw your channel last week when you made a thread. Well you still need lots of way to go and practice. It's nice that you keep putting effort into it but maybe you need someone to help you a bit. Someone to give you a quick lesson or two, just so you can have a smoother start. Look around, I'm sure there are plenty of people in China who can help you learn to play the violin. Good luck and keep at it Smiley
7  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Terrorist siege in the Philippines. on: May 24, 2017, 05:44:44 PM
To any Westerners reading this thread, this will be your fate soon. The attack near Parliament and that at the Ariana Grande concert aren't even a half year apart. The interval between these attack would become shorter as you get more radicals coming home from Iraq and Syria.

This is our faith now. When the first of these outrageous attacks hit major Western European cities like Charlie Hebdo in Paris I thought to myself "OK, this is the time when we finally wake up and stop this from happening in the future"

Fast forward a few years to the present moment, terrorist attacks are becoming a daily thing and people and governments seem to care less and less and get used to it. We even get to idiotisms like the mayor of London saying that these attacks are "part and parcel of living in a big city"
8  Other / Off-topic / Re: How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are? on: May 24, 2017, 05:23:28 PM
I'm actually 27, but I guess I'd say I feel like I'm 50. I hate my job. Maybe I should take a year brake and travel around a bit, I'm seriously considering it.
9  Other / Off-topic / Re: Flat Earth on: May 21, 2017, 07:03:09 PM
Why is this thread so popular? Every day I log in this one is on top of the Off-Topic section. Is this thread by itself something of a forum meme?

Oh and pretty easy experiment to check for yourself if the earth is flat or not. Just walk in a straight line for a while until you get to your starting point again. Pretty sure somebody has thought of that in 300 pages, but oh well. Only problem is you might have to figure out how to walk on water.
10  Other / Politics & Society / Re: US - are sports team names insulting indigenous people? on: May 20, 2017, 09:22:59 PM
Of course these names are honoring the Native Americans. When sports teams chose names like these it's to reinforce their intimidating image towards their opponents and make their fans feel proud and scary. Just like ancient warriors did when they disguised themselves as mighty beasts or monsters. The fans are like "We are the Chiefs, we are mighty warriors, don't mess with us".

This whole virtue signaling and political correctness has gone way too far. Remember the Hawaii taxi driver who had a hula doll on his dashboard and an SJW got him fired? It's Hawaii, hula dolls are everywhere, locals are selling them, nobody is offended, get over it!
11  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are chinese females held against their will in muslims country? on: May 19, 2017, 06:20:43 AM
I don't understand. Has something happened? Post a link to the story like you usually do Cheesy
12  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to Promote a Website on: May 18, 2017, 05:31:27 AM
Two ideas for you. Do a giveaway. Something cheap like a smartphone or headphones for like 100$. Have people register on your site and maybe use it in order to participate in the giveaway. The other idea is commercial banners in torrent trackers. This will get you some clicks I'm quite sure.
13  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have You Bitten a Coin Before? on: May 17, 2017, 11:03:23 AM
Bitten a coin? Like what to check if it's gold?

Yea I did it once, just like in the movies and almost broke a tooth.
14  Other / Off-topic / Re: Intel Extreme Masters (games, my idle time) on: May 16, 2017, 12:19:15 PM
Hah, on 0:50 you can see Neo and Pasha before their VP days. Good old 1.6 Train  Smiley Those were the greatest days.
15  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people like Trump? on: May 15, 2017, 04:45:20 PM
Yes I do like him and here's one reason.

Even if I didn't like him a lot before the elections he managed to stand up against everyone. Against the democrats, against the Clinton family, against most of the media, tons of libtard cucks and even his own party. This is a classic story of an underdog, and everyone loves underdogs beating the odds.
16  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Evolution is a hoax on: May 14, 2017, 10:01:46 PM
Evolution exists and we can see it even in our lifetime. Look at the people in the 50s of the last century and present-day people. Now the youth grows and they are much higher. Children start to sit and walk faster. All this is an example of evolution on a short stage.

There's an ass tone of hormones and hormone secretion inducing chemicals in the water kids drink nowadays. You can see 12 year old girls who look like grown women and almost as often 16 year old boys who look like pre-teens. There was a movie on this as far as I remember, I think it was called "The disappearing man" or something.
17  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump Nightmare - USA Have Nr.1 Position By National Debt Amount Worldwide on: May 14, 2017, 12:57:50 AM
More important question is who is the owner of this national debt?
China, of course.
So, in a way, China have great to how to control America.

One day we'll wake up and find out that China legally owns most of the world, without firing a single bullet. They are here too. I'm located in a small EU country where the Chinese have not only become the #1 investor, but they are also buying farming lands like crazy. It's not a question of if the Chinese will dominate the world, it's a question of when. And how will a Chinese dominated world look like especially considering that most of the positive traits of modern day China are copied from the west? We all know how the US changed the mainstream world culture in the past 60-100 years. What will the Chinese contribute to the world when they are #1 world power?

This whole thing is starting to look more and more like an episode of "Yes Minister"
19  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Should Atheist, Muslims etc that doesn't believe in the Bible be beheaded? on: May 11, 2017, 09:19:23 AM
What kind of language is that, Finnish? Anyway, I'd ignore if I were you, but if I knew this guy IRL I'd be careful when turning my back at him, and I'd avoid falling asleep when he's around.
20  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump suddenly fired the Director of the FBI on: May 10, 2017, 11:51:27 AM
With a name like his back in the day they wouldn't have even let him in the FBI in the first place  Cheesy
