1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Q: Invest 100k in 4 coins, Method, tips. on: May 11, 2017, 09:22:59 PM
Hello everyone

My question is fairly simple. My friend wants to invest 100k in 4 coins (Ripple, Doge, Nem, Stellar)
I am looking for tips how to handle such a transaction. He is currently registered & verified at Poloniex, Kraken & Bittrex.

The idea was to deposit money in those 3, buy the coins, send them to wallets (hard, soft, paper... whichever option is better for each coin at this time)

Thnx for any info & tips

Since his choice is a bit strange, i would suggests him to at least add BTC on the list. And invest in 5 coins.

I have no ideas about paperwalets for those coins.

Actually give your friend read this first;

Im gonna read that post now and tell him 2 do the same, thnx for the tip!

First off all thnx for all ur opinions but im not actually looking into which coin to buy thats his decision. I would definatly pick some other Coins. I told him Bitcoin, etherium and Litecoin but he wants to take a risk with a smaller coin with a possibility of a bigger payout.

What I am realy looking for now is how to do it? It doesnt mather which 4-5 coins... Its the method behind it. I wanne know if my idea how to do it is solid and and tips on that process would be much appreciated!

My idea how to handle this is:
-----------------------------------

1) Fiat deposit on Kraken (euro)  - He will be Tier4 approved in a few days
2) Trade Euro To crypto
3) If Oné of the coins is not available trade Crypto wallet from kraken to bittrex and buy the other coin
3) Send to wallets
4) Safe them on paper, ledger, key whatever specific coins is the best option to keep in a safe

Also the ideas you guys suggested about wave, golem, amp, etc i will tell him to look into it.

Litecoin has very good fundamentals, i think its a great old trusted coin. Very good for investment.

I agree with you, im trying to convince him to add this coin to his investment.

--------***--EDIT--***----------

Thank you all for the suggestions of other coins and see if his investment is solid or not but thats not realy the subject i need help with.
My Question is the Method of buying 4/5 coins in high volume (whatever coin it is) .

How should you handle this kind of process and to avoid high fees or any issues with traders if you have 100k to trade different crypto.

My idea how to handle this is:
-----------------------------------

1) Fiat deposit on Kraken (euro)  - He will be Tier4 approved in a few days
2) Trade Euro To crypto (3/4 coins)

3) If Oné of the coins is not available on Kraken:
Example Nem is not on kraken.   Buy Dogecoin on kraken - send to bittrex Dogecoin wallet - Trade Dogecoin to Nem on bittrex

3) Send to wallets ( away from trading platform )
4) Safe them on paper, ledger, key whatever specific coins is the best option to keep in a safe

I have to say you guys are a lot more friendly then Reddit lol ... a lot more frienldy replys on this forum even if you disagree
