1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: June 01, 2018, 08:31:30 AM
Getting more and more disappointed. Price is basically the same as last year while the product has been developed and has grown a lot - meanwhile other garbage products have seen exponential % increases.
Also the recent volume increase (whether it is organic or not) hasn't produced anything. The Clock is ticking.

It seems that 'Peter' left because he figured out that the ship is sinking. Good luck getting paid out
Wait, but he was hired to save the ship from sinking! Cheesy

I guess they cut the niche markets because they were getting killed there. Also not sure when this KYC gimmick has started, but asking for docs when they allow deposits without is a big red flag. (and by how big shady they are, sending docs in is a BIG risk to me)

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: October 23, 2017, 12:56:17 PM
We have fallen a lot. Currently losing a lot of money in BTC terms to hold on, and pretty sure that the 0.1 will be never be in sight again.
Did you check one year trend of ETH/BTC?  relation between them one year ago was 0.018 and now it is 0.05 equal a X2.7
why do you think the booming time for decentralization ends?

Yes,  I did. All the growth happened over 3 months, and since then downside.

why Bittrex didn't add ICN ?

I guess they didn't pay or maybe they know something that the plebs don't.

It looks like devs or someone heavy invested in are selling. The circlejerk of 'wait x' , ' it's great' etc, normally matters, but in this case of heavy downtrend, well..
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Martin Armstrong Discussion on: June 24, 2017, 03:13:43 PM
...

OROBTC has to grab the wheel again to get us back to two items from Europe by Armstrong today.  This first one affects me (a bit) as we are in Italy now (but an adjacent region, not NE Italy where the two banks failed:

https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/world-news/banking-crisis/ecb-declares-two-italian-banks-have-failed/

Yes, I pulled 250 euros from an Intesa-San Paolo ATM today (Intesa is the stronger bank that will take over the other two on Monday).

I saw an Austrian 20 florin gold coin for sale at 225 euros, not a bad price for a 0.1867 toz AGW gold coin.

There is also a BTM, but I have to figure out how to get over there and see if I can use it.

GERMANY (ha ha ha) has long been spying on the US!  What a surprise.

Here is an Armstrong piece on NEW legislation, passed in secret, re Germany wanting to spy on everything (no surprise either):

https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/world-news/taxes/germany-secretly-passed-total-surveillance-of-everything/

So, WhatsApp is no longer secure there in Germany.  READ the article if it sounds of interest to any of you.

The noose gets tighter each day....

It's really funny that the Germans are getting back at it again, apparently it's very difficult not to be a control freek.

Also, just to be precise, how can the regulators do that ? Put a backdoor in the code? That would probably be shut down by the european supreme court.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: June 22, 2017, 02:21:43 PM
With the BTC question coming up, July will be a very interesting month for me. Possibly targeting $ 75.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: June 21, 2017, 08:53:57 PM
Can someone please explain why the price is stagnating so much after the big crash a month ago ?

It looks very weird, even Whales aren't pumping it.

XEM's price has increased more than 50 fold this year so there are a lot of early investors taking gains but they have to do it slowly because XEM has extremely shallow order books. There are also new investors who are accumulating but they want to get the lowest price of course so they try to wait for dumps. It seems both sides are comfortable with a $0.20-25 price point because the price has hovered in that range since the last rally. Once the early investors are done taking their gains chances are there will be another rally.

It's a coin that is in top volume every-single-fucking-day on Poloniex. It should move more.

I might understand what the other guy is saying, that the price is manipulated, but it's only hitting resistance @ 8k without moving anywhere else. Just bots selling among themselves.

It looks like there is a big wall @120k. When smashed, we can go up to 150k.

I was wondered what caused of price dropped constantly after successful spiked in the market. Just now came in thread to catch up some updates and now found out the real reason behind. Community is not looking good Adam's part and have huge reservations about that guy due to his dubious and disputed character. Burst will take off once again after we find out our direction clear soon.

Dude it was a pump.

Also, it more than doubled in two weeks.

Bought in it  about 200.

Too bad that I realised this after the pump.

Why this project started picking up so late considering it has been  in development since 2014 ?

Maybe because of all the developments in the meanwhile? That's what these coins are actually about... however a lot of other coins tend to only thrive on promises.

Well, a lot of them are in development and the price is way higher.

Maybe something too nerdish tied with bad/absent marketing ?
