5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Other than Casascius BTC is their another way to send BTC as a tangible object? on: June 18, 2013, 04:59:06 AM
It is a question I've been having, I've been charged back on Paypal in the past like many others, although I do want to say I had a 50LTC for 500$ go through no a spade a spade. Seriously though is their anyway to circumnavigate Paypal's non protection of digital items(I know I agreed on that) through a physical representation of not the transaction but the item(other than Casascius BTC, they are pretty coolthough)
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / A nice read up that evidences BTC as a public record keeping device, check it out on: June 18, 2013, 02:49:02 AM
We maintain that the crypto-currency bitcoin is a practical application of what is termed “memory” in the monetary economics literature. After reviewing the theoretical literature on money and memory, we offer a brief overview of the bitcoin protocol and argue that, like memory, bitcoin functions as a public record-keeping device. Finally, we provide evidence that — in line with the standard theoretical account of memory — bitcoin use has soared as the expected cost of storing traditional monies increased.

Chaoskampf already has a post about this, can you guys remove this?
