1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / I'm sorry mtrlt XPM GPU miners but... on: August 14, 2013, 07:08:29 PM
I keep posting in mtrlt's moderated thread and he keeps deleting our posts, I guess he will have no time to work on your precious GPU miner Smiley

All I'm asking is how many hours he worked so far, and why it isn't finished after 3 weeks. Also, why is there no speed estimate?

Yep, but I have plans for the weekend. I'll try to get as much work done as possible before that.

A 75 BTC of Champagne please Smiley
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [XPM] Seeking funding for casino house stack at coincasino.cc on: July 11, 2013, 09:41:43 AM
I'm looking for an early and/or lucky miner Tongue with a nice stack of XPM to support the house stack for http://coincasino.cc. A percentage of possible profits (if the casino doesn't hit a bad streak) will be made available to you to cash out at any time. You're probably not gonna get rich here, my games have a rather low house edge. If you are interested, send me a PM and I'll let you know what's possible. In any case, it's good for the usability of the coin!

Come on

Hero member used to be nice. It meant something.

(I know I mean nothing, I'm just a junior or full)

Then you see a hero member in a post, instantly he gains credibility. Then it appears he posted 600 posts in 2 weeks.

What about something like:

- hero no sooner after 1.5 years active
- senior member no sooner after 1 year active
- full member no sooner after 6 months

?

(yes I'll be downgraded)

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [ANN] CHIPS - new altcoin - released soon on: May 09, 2013, 04:17:20 PM
I'm not looking to take over FIAT, I'm here for your entertainment  Smiley

Yes, another new coin, but this coin can be used for betting, without a casino site. You'll be betting within the blockchain! Please read more...

If you're not into gambling and hate new coins, skip this message

How can you bet
Anyone with CHIPS can send a number of his coins to a predefined address. (hard coded in the client/sourcecode) These coins are technically lost, no private key available. (we'd need a way to generate these in public so that there is no discussion that the private key IS unknown) Each address is matched with odds (for example 10% chance), and a multiplier. In our example: multiplier = x9.75. (Why not x10, see below) Basically, 2.5% is reserved for the miner.

What decides if you win or lose
The hash of the next generated block (or some hash related to it) will decide if your bet wins or loses, this way the network can verify. These winning coins will be generated towards the "inputs" of the bet transaction.

How can we make sure the block miner/creator includes the transactions (bets)?
For each bet, the block generator gets 2.5% of the wagered amount. This will make it interesting for them to include bets. We have no deflation/inflation, on average coin amounts stay the same. The miner is the house!

Other things will have to be decided later on (retarget time, starting diff) I’d mine a block every minute or so, so you’ll know your bet result in a minute.

I would implement a minimum fee for each transaction and/or bet to avoid small bets from flooding the chain.

Any suggestions are welcome, also, if you see any problems with the idea (technical implementation) , thanks for letting me know.

Let the flaming/bashing begin!!

Edit: nothing of course stands in the way of heavy early mining and early adopting like seems to be the rage these days Smiley

Edit2: and as the betting increased, miners get more and more coins. But those coins are generally "lost" by the others (2.5% disadvantage) - this keeps mining interesting! And the faint of heart who don't like gambling (do these people even exist) can just mine and get 2.5% from the crazy gamblers
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [WTS] 400 YAC, send me BTC on: May 09, 2013, 12:19:09 PM
It isn't a huge amount, but still bigger than what you would be able to mine for the next time with current diff

PM your serious offer
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [WTS] 5K BQC(BBQ) - 0.5BTC/1K BQC on: May 06, 2013, 02:19:53 PM

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / BQC - dice game - roll and increase your stack! on: April 27, 2013, 04:00:17 PM
Hi Everybody,

Just to promote BQC I have created a dice game! http://www.bbqbets.com/ More games will follow, starting with a weekly BQC lottery. House edge is as low as it gets, 2% - BBQbets is just a chance to use some of your hard earned BQC!

Good luck and see you soon!
Vinne

PS Games are in beta but we have tested things thoroughly. Should something still go wrong, we've got extensive logs, no bets will be lost!
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Hiya guys - also - BQC dice game! on: April 25, 2013, 08:04:17 PM
Hi Guys,

Guess I need to write here Smiley So I say hi to all newbies, I bet nobody else reads these forums Smiley

Also.. I'm developing a dice game for BQC (barbeque coin) - should be ready in a few days. Main reason: to promote BQC! Why: because I have lots of BQC? No Smiley Because my jobs allows some coding and I like making things Smiley  (I'm also a gambler losing fiat regularly)

When it's finished I'll let you know, my house odds are as low as satoshi's (98% payout) and it's just for the fun really. I like to see my code work and maybe you hit it big!

Message me if you want to know when it's live

Greetings
Vincent
