Looking for a new exchange to deposit gbp.

Using uphold but withdrawal fees too high:

1% for btc
1.4% for eth

Interested to hear what others are using, fees and how safe etc

Anyone recommend and privacy goons that either have a low market cap or have not pumped as yet?

Done a thread like this a while ago and from that got 2 great coins that in a few months have produced great profits for me and 2 I also suggested have given great profits, below were my previous picks

Ark - $0.20 to $6.22 31x in about 6 months
Xby $0.017 to 0.485 28x in about 5 months (actually done it’s jump in past few weeks and I honestly don’t think it’s finished)

Xby I still see as having huge potential to be a top 30 coin and still good chance for great profit on this. Compare it’s blockchain to all others out there and you will see why -extremely quick transactions and 10k transactions a sec,  51% and ddos attack proof, dapps, instant messaging.  Due to launch 3rd testnet.

Another pick of mine that I have been saying since $0.04 (now $0.31) is sonm, great team had some difficulty after ico though, constantly developing see github, launched MVP on 25th dec and ahead in terms of development than its nearest competitor golem- which has a $600m market cap vs $110 for sonm.  This coin gonna be huge in 2018

Would be interested to hear what coins with a low market cap are undervalued with possible huge potential and why.
Lower market cap the better as it gives more room for profit.  For example xby I suggested when it was like $6m cap.

On block chain say for example someone sent me 1btc and I was curious to know how much btc is in the wallet they sent from how do I see this?

Hi Guys thinking of investing in a hardware wallet and want to know what is the best one and why.  Dont care about price more interested in features, ease of use but mainly security.

I hold mainly eth based tokens.  MEW accepts both ledger and trezor.

Any comments would be great.

Can someone explain why if I look at any coins chart the 24hr graph looks almost identical.

Meaning that all coins across the entire market during the recent dump are being dumped at roughly the same % and again now with price and cap rising again same % going back in.

Is this the case?  Money is removed from every coin at same % into fiat then put back in same % from fiat?

Posted this on the Bancor page but not getting any responses and hope someone in here will be able to help me.

I tried to purchase 4 ether worth of Bancor following instructions on their page but clearly I have messed it up somehow, my eth went out and it has come back as a transfer but i do not know what to do to use it or turn it into bancor if possible or at worst back to ether.

Below is my mew address and if you scroll to the bottom you see the transfer come back as 4,000,000,000,000,000,000 (sent as 4 wei as per bancor instructions which is 4 plus the 18 zero's):  Ignore the 3600 Bancor tokens as got these on the ICO.

OK tried to buy into ICO and missed it sold out too quick.

I have another few ICO's in mind that are coming up and want to know what gas price should i use so it goes through very quickly?

Also is there a maximum gas that would say be too much and it would return the ether back to me

Looking at bittrex for example i only see usdt - is this the same as having usd or is there a difference?

If its the same could i then withdraw my usdt to usd at 1:1 ratio?

Can someone explain the difference to me between backing up my wallet.dat vs saving a copy of my private keys.

Im trying to ensure my wallet is fully secure from unauthorised access to my laptop and hard drive failure.  I need to know the difference before i can put a proper plan to prevent loss/theft.

Is my wallet.dat basically the file that i need to be able to access my wallet again should my laptop crash?  Whats the difference between that and private keys are they not the same thing, or for example i have say a jaxx wallet that is multi currency so i could either back up my wallet.dat or save a copy of each private key that relates to the individual coins.

Looking on the forum and net and i cant see an answer explaining the difference.

ICO is 31-5-17 but im not seeing much info on this forum regarding it, unless ive missed it but done a lot of searches and cannot find it?
