1  Other / Meta / Cloudflare enabled onion services and Bitcointalk on: September 22, 2018, 06:01:48 PM
Cloudflare introduced onion integration - https://blog.cloudflare.com/cloudflare-onion-service/

Quote
This enables customers to continue detecting bots using IP reputation while sparing humans the trouble of clicking on CAPTCHA street signs over and over again.

Bitcointalk uses Cloudflare already. Can we get .onion service and get rid of this recaptcha madness?
2  Other / Meta / BitcoinTalk Pro account - no Cloudflare proxy? on: January 28, 2018, 02:24:59 PM
As I said before (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2485318.msg26028401#msg26028401) we would like to buy access to BitcoinTalk forum that bypasses Cloudflare.

Anyone else is willing to pay to use BitcoinTalk?
3  Economy / Services / Why there are so many active threads about free transaction accelerators? on: January 08, 2018, 07:45:02 AM
Few questions:

1. Why there are so many active threads about free transaction accelerators?
2. Do you accelerate transaction you have had no control of mining fee?
3. Do you use free accelerator to save money on mining fee?
4. Do you have a control of input private key or output private key or none?
4  Bitcoin / Project Development / Bitcoin mixing and Segwit on: August 25, 2017, 09:30:39 PM
We, ChipMixer team, are reinventing bitcoin tumbling. Our previous idea was to allow withdrawing private keys of addresses that were prepared beforehand (our thread).

Segwit is now online which means Lightning Network is around the corner. We are collecting ideas how to use Segwit and LN to increase privacy of Bitcoin mixing. If you have one, reply in this thread or send us a PM.

Lightning Network allows you to do transactions that are not stored on blockchain which means they cannot be traced by blockchain analysis companies, but there are some data that can be seen:
a. creation of new channel is visible on blockchain and can be analyzed
b. every transaction is visible for payment hub you are using
c. destruction of an old channel is visible on blockchain and can be analyzed

Our new idea is to create ChipMixer payment hub that will ensure that (b) cannot be traced by nobody. Hub would function as any other except that we are already a reputable service that protect your privacy and if you use our service you already trust us to not to keep logs.

What do you think about this idea?
5  Economy / Gambling / ChipMixer.com betting is now provably fair on: June 23, 2017, 03:36:34 PM
Hello Everyone

Some of you may know about ChipMixer, service that reinvents Bitcoin tumbling.
Some of you may know that we offer betting while mixing your coins.
But today...

Since today all of our bets are now provably fair with a chance of doubling your chip equals 15 out of 32 (which is around 47%).

Mixer's interface looks like this:

What do you think? Does gambling and tumbling mix well?

What makes ChipMixer special?

ChipMixer creates Bitcoin addresses (chips) and funds them with specific sizes. There are chips with 0.001 BTC, 0.002 BTC, 0.004 BTC and so on till 4.096 BTC. When you deposit your Bitcoins, you receive same amount in chips. For example you deposit 0.112 BTC and you receive 0.064 + 0.032 + 0.016. Each chip was funded before your deposit, so there is no link between them and your deposit on blockchain. They are already anonymous. With each chip, you receive its private key, so you can spend them any time you want.

Why us?

We offer the best privacy you can get from Bitcoin mixer.

  • you have full control over mixing - it makes process random
  • outputs are fungible - every chip is exactly the same
  • outputs are faster than inputs - from blockchain perspective, you spend them before sending to mixer
  • output may be higher than input - optional betting inside
  • you can use multiple small inputs to merge into one big output off-chain
  • outputs can be used instantly - private key is yours and you set miner's fee
  • no fee, donation only - pay as much as you want
  • no accounts, no bitcodes to link your inputs
  • optional signed source of funds
  • we wait 48h for your input transaction and we can wait more on request
  • lightweight pages, no javascript required

How to use it with example

Step 1 - deposit

You receive input address. You deposit 0.1 BTC on received address and wait for one confirmation.

Step 2 - mixing

Your 0.1 BTC is exchanged for chips: 0.064 + 0.032 + 0.004.

You click on split button for 0.064 chip exchanging it for two 0.032 chips.

You click on split button for 0.004 chip exchanging it for two 0.002 chips. You click donate on smallest chip. Thank you!

Now you have 3 * 0.032 + 0.002.  You click withdraw all.

Step 3 - withdraw

You see list of four private keys. Each marked with its size (3 * 0.032 BTC and 0.002 BTC) and public key. There is no on-chain connection between them and funds you deposited.

You import them into your wallet Electrum wallet and they are ready to be spent.

Total mixing time: 1 blockchain confirmation

Total cost: 0.002 BTC donate. You pay what you want.
