I am a fan of electrum bitcoin wallet but something very weird is happening with this wallet now when using for cold storage.After creating a wallet on offline machine the wallet is created with 20 Receiving Address and 6 Change Address.Exporting master public keys and then importing these keys to Online Machine results in same 20 Receiving Address and 6 Change Address but once the wallet is synced then the problem starts.In Receiving Addresses 4 new addresses are added automatically at the bottom of 20 addresses and that's not all you don't own these addresses.I tried signing the message using any of these 4 address and it results in error.In offline machine,error is 'Address not found in wallet'.In Online machine,also error which means both machines don't have private keys to this address so if we send bitcoins to these address they will be LOST. I expect some explanation to this from Electrum developer or someone experienced?

I recently updated my electrum wallet to 2.9.3 version and see electrum icon completely changed.

is there any exchange which support deposit via advcash to purchase bitcoin.I know i can exchange advcash to btc using exchangers but there's rate is high.I am looking for bitcoin exchange like bitfinex/bitstamp which allow deposit via advcash and has less fees.

Why do we have to trust transactions with 5+ more confirms and not 1?Is there a chance that i send some bitcoin at this moment and the bitcoins gets lost?

https://www.xbt.eu/ shows BIP 91 locked in and will be activated soon but also shows the countdown for BIP 148.I thought if BIP 91 gets activated then BIP 148 won't take place.Am i wrong? Will there still be UASF on August 1?

I have been buying bitcoin when the price was around 400$-450$.Most of my bitcoins are bought at that price around 40 BTC and remaining at less then 600$ price.i have been holding btc in paper wallet since then and already my stash in usd is 6 times.

what i want to know is please suggest some ways to invest my bitcoin at zero risk to earn some profit.Even 0.8% to 1% profit per month is good for me but it should be risk free.i don't mind the profit percentage but risk should not be there.if you have some suggestions please post that too,if i should keep holding for more years and if yes how long should i hold?

Being a long term bitcoin holder i am little scared.some people are even saying bitcoin might fall to zero after August 1st.is that even a possibility?should i sell my bitcoins to cashout profits and wait it out? or should i keep holding? i want to hold bitcoin for another 4-5 years.so if the bitcoin prize falls after August 1st which is a very high chance then will it ever recover? what's the safe thing to do?
